like this area for quiet clean unpolluted beaches great for swimming. since my previous visit they added a swimming pool/fitness, bar and rec room. also made some upgrades. very good English signage from Phetkasem highway. room big and spotless. WIFI ok, some English channels on sat tv, bed good, free drinks and free snacks in room. did not try the restaurant but 200B is expensive for breakfast. many places to eat and drink in nearby ban Krud, Tap Sakae or along the highway. enjoyed using the kayak and bicycles (included) this area is difficult without a car but its possible to arrive by 3rd class train stops 700m from hotel, or van stops at police station on highway about 8km away.. also can rent motorbikes here. still my fav anywhere between Hua hin and Chumpon.

The second time we stay at lovely Nishaville. This time in the apartments with a great sea view! Brand new and very comfy. Had a few mishaps since so new but the manager and staff fixed things promptly. Now under The Unique Collection management which should result in even better performance. Many of staff have low level of English but are really positive and give their best. The best part is of course the quiet rest you get here, with almost no people on the very long beach. Maybe other Thai beaches are whiter but for a complete relaxation, this is the winner. Not a beach vendor in sight.

In the beginning, I doubt whether I should stay in Hua Hin like many other tourist does. It was a long ride from Hua Hin( about 1.5hrs of driving @ 120KM avg). When we arrived the resort, the manager, Pui, shows us from lobby, restaurant, pool to our beach front villa. We are not regret to take such a long ride. The resort is like paradise and in well design and maintained. The best part is the private beach with the fine sand and calm sea. Resort provides kayak and bike for free where you can observe the local fisherman and garden in the hotel. Another highlight is the condition and design of the beach front villa. Drinks are unlimited provided. Room is clean, spacious and completed. View from the villa is unbelievable beautiful. I found myself in heaven when lying down on the beach chair in the pavilion. I came to Thailand with my wife every year since 2005. Sirarun Resort definitely is the best resort we have ever stayed. If you would like to escape from the city and stay in somewhere in nowhere, Sirarun Resort doubtlessly is your top choice! Although the staffs cannot speak fluent english, I have no problem to communicate with them using my Thai/Chinese travel book. Next time, I will be back with my parent.

We booked bungalow 23 which had 2 en suite bedrooms and was beach front. The ambience of the resort is relaxing with friendly staff. We paid 12000 Baht for 3 nights bed and breakfast with 3 of us using the 2 bedroom bungalow. Staff told us that we could have saved money if we booked directly and also would have been offered a package with dinner. The bungalow was clean and tidy, but a little dated. The two bedrooms have air con, but the living area does not and there was no fan so it was too hot to sit there. A fan on the terrace would have been welcome as well. The shower pressure was a bit weak and one of the toilets was situated too close to the shower cubicle making it difficult to get your legs tucked in when sitting down! A very noisy Thai family seemed to think the swimming pool was for their exclusive use. Despite these few negatives this is a superb place to unwind for a few days and we will definitely return.

this resort was nice surprise. i did not expect much, but nearly all was perfect and we enjoyed our stay there a lot. the first thing which made me happy was new,clean bungalow made in modern style including nice bathroom. this was clear 10 from 10 points. next was nice clean beach. this resort realy care well about all, including small swiming pool and beautiful garden. staf was friendly, smiling and helpful. my only little complain is about fruit.the food in resort was very good, but traditionaly only water meloun for breakfast. second day i was nicely surprised with papaya, but still nothing else. after spent a few days in about 4 resorts in thailand i started believe the tons of fruit you can see everywhere at local markets(mango, coconuts, guava) are probably prohibited to use for breakfasts in all hotels in thailand :-) one thing surprised me in resort when check-in they wanted to see my visa card and compared it with the voucher i brought with me. this is nonsense coz i could made reservation trough agoda for someone else and he will not have my card. so please: more fruit to offer and stop check card coz it does not serves to anything. however this are small details and all together i rate this resort very high and definitely come back.

As 1of only 5 hotels on this 5km stretch of beach it was the perfect place to stay. The staff are very friendly and its the best set breakfast I've ever had! I would recommend that you have a car here as it would be the only way to really get around. We also too our bikes - it's a stunning place to go for a ride. Bar closes at 9pm so don't go expecting nighttime but if its a quiet break you're after this is the perfect hotel for that!

PERFECT! If a small (10) rooms hotel, beach guesthouse with all the basics, but nothing over the top is what you seek, you cannot go wrong here. Owned and operated by a perfect Thai lady, you will be treated with a wonderful and peaceful stay with the beach just across the street. There are a couple of beach bars/restaurants within a few hundred meters. A perfect place for a weekend get away.

This hotel has 2 section, the old facility and the rainbow house. The old section is pretty run down. However, the rainbow houses are newly built. We stayed in one of the Rainbow house and it's was superb. The room is very clean and there a rooftop balcony for very room. The beach is very windy, very strong tide and strong waves so better check the weather before you visit.

None of us wanted to leave after 2.5 days here at Jack Beach. I emphasize value for money because although the accommodations are rather basic- not too flash- the place was clean, comfortable, and appeared o be in a state of steady improvement. The owners and managers asked several times about how they could improve the location, food, drinks on offer- I have them constructive advice, and they were literally writing things down. The beach is next to a fishing pier- you can go down and try your hand at catching if you like- locals are happy to assist faring there. Sand is nearly white, and water was free of small/worriesome jellyfish, at least during our stay. Beach was sprinkled with occasional litter, but nothing like we've seen elsewhere. All of us really enjoyed swimming in the warm, but still refreshing water, with a clean, sandy bottom. No rip tides, and children used a boozy board on the smaller waves that occasionally rolled in. Was a delight to wake up both mornings, walk down the path, and see the beautiful wager beckoning in front of the resort. There are things the Jack Beach owner and staff can improve, and it may never be a top-level hotel, but for peace and quiet, friendly staff, great value for money, and a beach worth going to from Bangkok, this is outstanding. Also, both the Panang and Masaman curries are exceptional here. Definitely visit Huey Yang Waterfall on your visit, and Ao Manao. Dawnsingkon Market was nice, too- clean, airy, and full of things you may only see there. You'll be glad you made the trip down to Jack Beach for a weekend away from Bangkok. Really impressed with this hotel, and we will be back.

I like privacy of the resort. It was just like you were staying in your own house. Private pool but a little too deep for Thai, not a kid pool at all. Depth of 150 cm. is good for swimming but not for kids play. The decorations were very good. Rooms are spacey and clean. But it is far away from town so you should prepare your own food well. Outdoor shower and toilet may not suitable for Thai lifestyle but it does not hurt if you like exotic.

If you like a quite place, this place is ok. But.... Do not take a bungalow, the rooms are much better but, no fridge. Water has little pressure. We had dinner in the restaurant and the woman tries to do it on her own. When we were there, there were 4 other guests. We arrived at about the same time. Everybody, including my partner had finished dinner about 40 minutes before I got my simple dish.. So she seems to be not very organised. Do not take tea unless you like extremely sweet tea with a distant taste of lemon. Coffee is also not good. In the restaurant the tv is on all the time like in most Thai restaurants but for me not nice. I will not go back, there are more places like this for the same or better prices.
