Spacious rooms in good location, great value”

location wise, the hotel is in close proximity to surabaya plaza and grand city malls, about five minutes walk. sharing the name with surabaya plaza mall, you'd think that there will be a dedicated pedestrian pass from the hotel to the mall, but unfortunately this is not the case, and you'd have to walk through the side road to get there. you can't go to grand city without crossing a very busy road either. room offers start from junior suite, and it's spacious and comfy. bathroom is well decorated. and the best thing is, it is offered at much competitive price that similar hotel class.

lovely hotel and nice services”

it was a very short visit but it was a fantastic one. free of smoke. however, when i checked in the bathroom was not really ready. i found the empty boxes of small bath kits. i did not make any complaint since i was ready to my own bath kits. the hotel is next to surabaya plaza and electronic mall that made me easy to get something to buy. as it is in a central city of surabaya, it has best access to surabaya business centers. good welcoming, good food, and good and fast checked out.

Big room in the heart of the city”

The hotel was quite old, but the room was very good. It was very big, the bathroom is also big. Very clean and nice. Staff is very helpfull. We stayed for about 2 weeks. Breakfast could be improved with more menu variations. My only problem is, Surabaya can be very hot, the room is so big the air conditioner can't cover it all so although I already set it to minimum temperature and highest fan speed, the room temperature is still a bit warm. The hote location is right in the middle of the city, located next to a mall so it is easy for us to find foods and stuff.

Former Radisson”

Very nice Hotel. I stayed for 3 nights and the overall this hotel is worth every penny. Although there are some minor problems during my first night staying (mosquito problems, the hotel staffs were quickly responded and that Impressed me a lot. You should try the nasi Goreng Jancuk if you want the ultimate hot and spicy fried rice. I kid you not, I spontaneously blurted out "Jancuk" when I put the first spoon of that fried rice to my mouth. It's kinda brings back Old memory after leaving surabaya for 10 years.

My wife and I went to Surabaya to enrol in a program at the local hospital. The hotel was able to provide for all our needs and accomodate all our requests instantly to make our stay there as stress free and pleasent as possible. The food is adequate in the resturant, the dinner menu is varried enough that it would keep you well occupied each night even over a 5 day stay. A genuinely nice stay in a well maintained and clean hotel. Beware the Top Shelf drinks in the bar. It may be due to the new customs and import laws Indonesia now has making some of the booze harder to obtain, and therefore imitations slip onto the shelves....

Clean and Nice Hotel”

i think this surabaya plasa hotel is a very good hotel. the position is very strategic, close to the center of business area, shopping area, mal, and entertainment fascility. it's a recommended hotel to stay. the taste of the food is grood. the room fascilities are good as well. so for everybody who wants to visit surabaya, this hotel is really a good choice.

Nice old hotel with spacious rooms”

at first they put us in our junior suite room which was quite old but nice and spacious. the problem only with the air conditioner which was not properly maintain and was not able to challenge the hot steamy weather of surabaya that noon. then, we get another room which is at the opposite wing of the hotel, it was a mirror image of the first one with only very minimum variance in features, such as door lock and the brand of the air conditioner (ah ha!). it was younger air conditioner (i think) and the condition was better. we have a lovely time in this hotel and they have helpful and friendly people to assist us throughout our stay.

Good location with good service hotel”

This is my second times I am staying with the hotel since 2010. Overall, the hotel and the staff are okay and very polite and helpful to the guest. The hotel is located at strategic location for shopping and eating. The hotel is convenience with my requirement in meeting with my daughter whom studying at UNAIR. The only problem for me as the whole hotel is non- smoking hotel. In my opinion that the management should considering putting smoking corner on every floors as per ground floor. The overall rating that Surabaya Plaza Hotel is a good and convenience hotel.

Surabaya Plaza Hotel”

This hotel is great value with huge rooms, very well appointed and with lovely bathrooms. The glass walled lifts and indoor tropical plants give the place a glamorous feel. Right next to the hotel is the Surabaya Plaza shopping mall, which is very convenient given how difficult it is to walk around the city. An excellent choice.

Pleasant Hotel. Dated Interior. Good Location. Big Pool.”

I had a pleasant stay at the Surabaya Suites. The facilities are dated and worn, but they keep the place clean, the room was spacious with a good desk to work from, and the breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from. The 50m long swimming pool was the highlight. I was able to do laps and get in a good workout every morning, and that made my stay. The pool is open to the public and the changing rooms are a bit grotty, but the water is fine. There's mall food next door, and it's fairly well located 15mins walk from Tunjungan area.

i come to surabaya often and stay at surabaya plaza hotel a few times. i have stayed at other more known luxury chain hotels like marriott and hyatt, and a few other cheaper hotels. surabaya plaza hotel is a good balance of reasonable price, comfort and convenience. the hotel is right next to a shopping center and you can get everything you need such as food and other necessities. it is also in the center of surabaya, so it is close to the major offices and shopping area. the rooms are larger, especially the suites. they are clean and comfortable. recommended for travel with family.

Surabaya Plaza”

Surabaya Plaza Hotel is a 100% non-smoking hotel, this makes the rooms nice and clean. The staff of the hotel are friendly and cooperative. Breakfast can be packed if you do not have the time to have it at the hotel. For smokers, there is a special room located at the ground floor for you to relax while enjoying your smoke. Taxis are easily available near the hotel.

Superb non-smoking hotel”

This will definitely be my new choice of hotel in Surabaya. However, the airconditioner in the Junior Suite room I stayed was not working in the right capacity.

Great Hotel in the middle of Surabaya City”

Location is great, you're just a walk away to Submarine Monument, World Trade Center, Mall, food center, etc. Nice breakfast. Don't forget to taste the notorious "Jancuk Fried Rice", one of the best cuisine in Surabaya.

Pleasant hotel. good location”

no complaints about this hotel. this is the third time i've stayed here and i would stay again. good location near plaza surabaya mall. breakfast is good. pool is outdoor and huge! and the water of the pool isn't too cold, i enjoyed swimming in it every morning. we arranged airport pick up through the hotel and they were there waiting for us when we arrived, very convenient.

this hotel is located at the center of business district in Surabaya. same complex with World Trade Center of Surabaya, which is one of the biggest telecommunication malls in the world.

Great location and nice rooms, but pricey food”

I stay with this hotel a few times already. The hotel has good location right in the center of the city and next to a shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only problem I have with the hotel is the food in the hotel. The room service menu is extremely pricey, even more expensive than higher end hotels like Marriott. It's somewhat offset by numerous restaurants around the hotel. But you're in trouble if you go hungry in the middle of the night and only food available is in the hotel. Plus the wireless internet is very slow. But I find that a common problem in Surabaya hotels.
