Everything you need in one handy location”

This was our 2nd stay at Sunway Pyramid Hotel and we will definately be back. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful, they bent over backwards to get us a room when our flight arrived early and we had one by 10am. The breakfast buffet is HUGE with a vast choice of western and Malaysian dishes. It is adjoining the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre which has everything you need...supermarket, heaps of shops, restaurants, cafes, cinema, bowling, iceskating rink and more. Not to mention the amusement park! The only downside is that the pool is a fair walk away, at the adjoining Sunway Resort. However, the pool facilities are excellent. We have previously stayed at the Sunway Resort as well, but it is more expensive and we don't see any difference apart from the fancy lobby. All in all, it's a great place for a resort style holiday. It is quite far from KL city but the hotel offers a very affordable shuttle bus service which operates twice a day in both directions.

Cosy rooms, great price at a great location”

outstanding service and more than decent facilities. we had a problem with our boiler and all it took was a phone call; not only was there an attempt to provide a replacement immediately, we had follow up service calls to ensure that we had received the boiler and was satisfied with the replacement. basically, they gave a damn about a little boiler. well done! key advantages of staying at sunway pyramid are as follows: 1) obviously a stone's throw to the actual theme park. a lazy stroll on the right side, outside the main doors, will bring you to cascades of escalators that will bring you down to the main entrance of the theme park. 2) hungry? well not up for the hotel's cuisine, you might visit one of the many affordable yet delicious food joints outside the hotel or alternatively to the mall which is conveniently attached through a link access way to the hotel. 3) well, sunway pyramid hotel is a four star hotel but you can use the facilities at the five star sunway hotel and spa resort, like the swimming pool etc.

One of the best hotels we've stayed in!”

Sunway Pyramid Hotel will be our hotel of choice whenever we are in the area for so many reasons! 1. Easy access to the mall & theme park 2. Wide selection at the buffet breakfast (Continental, American, Indian, Chinese, Malay, etc) 3. Helpful staff... And last but not least, their awesome family room!! The newly revamped room is spacious, clean, has a bunk bed (which the kids love!) and TWO toilet bowls so no one has to fight for it! They are also very generous with the bathroom amenities! There's a Nespresso machine as well & apparently, the canned drinks in the fridge are complimentary. What stood out the most though was the beautiful art piece featured in the room which was painted by a child with learning difficulty. In fact, the entire floor (from outside the lift & along the corridor) showcases the works of different children. I think this is a wonderful initiative by Sunway Pyramid & something that all hotels should consider doing!

Pleasant in every aspects”

Sunway Pyramid Hotel is my most favourite hotel whenever i travel to Bandar Sunway. For its price, you get the best out of it. Clean, spacious and comfortable room. Room with view is recommended, and always request for one facing the theme park. Marvellous view. Breakfast was okay. The best thing about the hotel it is linked directly to Sunway Pyramid shopping mall which is very convenient. Money well-spent on this hotel.

Great Hotel to stay in Kuala Lumpur”

Sunway Pyramid Hotel is a great hotel to stay in if you are visiting Kuala Lumpur. It is a true 4-Star Hotel. The hotel staff is excellent, their rooms are clean, their breakfast selection and set up is great and the hotel is adjoined to a mall. This means that the hotel is a great base for you and your family. You are able to venture out into the city when the weather is great and if there happens to be rain or thunderstorms, then the mall has numerous activities that an individual, couple or family can take part in.

I highly recommend Sunway Pyramid Hotel to anyone who wishes to stay around Sunway Lagoon. It is totally value for money and is linked to the mall which is so huge that you would need an entire day to do your shopping. The room is modern looking, spacious and clean. The bathroom is however abit dull equipped with a shower (no bathtub) but adequate for me. Although the hotel lobby is not big, there is huge sitting area for the guests to rest their feet. The hotel lobby is also scented with a nice tangerine aroma which makes the hotel appear luxurious. I would like to commend Arizan, the hotel concierge, for his attentiveness and amicable attitude which make my stay in Sunway Pyramid Hotel pleasant and enjoyable.

Facilities and breakfast are shared with Sunway hotel and resorts”

The breakfast was hosted at Sunway hotel and resort which had some distance from my hotel room. The last day I wanted to swim so asked the hotel staff member then got to know the swimming pool is also at Sunway resort. In the end I didn’t go. This is a very nice hotel if you only looking for a comfortable stay, not require any other add on service like swimming pool or breakfast. First night I stayed in the twin bed room, the hotel staff offered me to change on my second day if I don’t like it because I opted for king size bed but they don’t have it on my first night. The next morning I woke up with some noise from the travelers from China so didn’t sleep well. They talked too loud and the door did not come with soundproof I guess. The 2nd and 3rd night were awesome. Room was bigger as well. Thanks Sunway Pyramid Hotel. ;)

Best for money ”

We are a honeymoon couple. The hotel staff upgraded our room. We travelled by car. The Sunway Pyramid is at such a central area. The shopping centre and sunway lagoon is connected by walkway link through the hotel itself! We didn't travel anywhere out! The Sunday Pyramid shopping centre is the biggest shopping mall I've ever seen. Even the ones in Singapore lose to it (Vivocity & Ion). We couldn't complete walking around even with our 3nights stay there (29 Dec to 1st Jan 2019). Of coz, every branded items were much much cheaper! Every store had ongoing promotions. The shopping centre opens @10am and closes 10pm sharp. Sunway lagoon was exciting. Tickets were bought online (2 days fun pass) and didnt wait too long in the queue to get the wristbands. Quack express was an added advantage in all rides. It's value for money. The elockers - You get a barcode and scan it anytime to open and close it! Worth it right, unlike those key types- one time use. Such a wonderfup trip to a NY2019!🤩

Exceptional”

One of the best hotels in Bandar Sunway. Love the location- great accessibility to eateries, restaurant and shops with the majestic Sunway Pyramid Mall adjacent to the hotel and those shops across the road, also not forgetting- Sunway Lagoon a stone's throw away! Reasonably good food served for breakfast buffet daily. Impressive and superb service rendered by the Staff counter, Concierge and Porter- very pleasant and friendly staff. Great job and way to go Sunway Pyramid! :)

Sunway Pyramid Hotel was a pleasure. It's conveniently located beside Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, with a huge shopping mall to go along. Lots of fun activities for Children and Adults. Ice Skating, Laser Tag, Arcades, Cinema etc. A wide variety of restaurants at the mall. The hotel room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Toilet was spacious with a bathtub. Housekeeping gave new tubes of shampoo & bath foam on the next day even though I haven't finished mine the day before. Only negative: Breakfast per room was only for 1 person! To top up breakfast for the 2nd person, it cost 52 Ringgit! Apparently I wasn't the only one with the issue, as a few guests came down and encountered the same problem. Please rectify this! However, the Breakfast was really really good! A wide spread of international food. Really enjoyable. Had a wonderful stay. I'll definitely be back again! You should go too!

Comfortable stay!”

Like: Comfort bed & pillows, easy access to the sunway pyramid mall. A lot of eateries area. Great facilities. Good breakfast! Dislike: The restaurant for breakfast was quite far. It was in the Sunway resort hotel & spa. It tooks few minutes to queue before we can have our breakfast. Again, we was place at the outside of the restaurant, which served foods were lesser compared to the foods served inside the restaurant. Understand that it was due to high peak season, but please be fair to your guest as well. Sunway pyramid hotel should consider to have own cafe in the sunway pyramid hotel itself.

Short yet great stay”

Hotel is directly attached to Sunway Pyramid via the Food Court exit, making it a really convenient place to stay at for visitors who intend to enjoy themselves at Bandar Sunway. Room was clean and comfortable, with friendly and attentive staff. I was careless to leave my tablet device in the room after departing the hotel, but the esteemed staff turned it over to the Lost & Found department and subsequently arranged for it to be returned to me safely. Two thumbs up for top-notch hospitality and integrity. Would stay here again the next time I come visiting again.

EASY ACCESS TO ALL OUR NEEDS”

Our stays were tremendous. My children were so happy and feel blessed to have chosen Sunway Pyramid Hotel for our short accommodation. I came with my family comprises 4 adults and 1 kid. I booked 2 rooms with view and breakfasts included through Agoda, as they offered the best priced ever. Upon check in, the friendly and thoughtful staff offered my mum a wheelchair as she having difficulty to walk. They even allowed my mum to use the wheelchair until our time to catch the coach back to Singapore. I also chose smoke free rooms because I wanted fresh air. We were given rooms with Sunway Lagoon view. The hotel windows are wide which perfectly captured Sunway Lagoon scenery as our background photos. The hotel is easily accessible to shopping mall, halal restaurants, indoor games activities, movie theatre and of course the Sunway Lagoon itself, our main planned event. However, on top of all, I have chose to stay in Sunway Pyramid Hotel was because of Aeroline Service Centre that is nearby the hotel. It is very convenient for us to travel to and fro between Singapore and Sunway. We do not have to travel far to get our bus home. We will definitely come back again!

Great room and services, true 4-star hotel”

I went to Sunway Pyramid for a one night stay with my friend before moving off to Genting the next morning. The stay was more than what i expected at reasonable price. The superior room i stay even come with a sofa. Services from the staff is at their best. I like the best about their room lighting control. All lights were connected to a Master Control by the bedside. You can turn off all lights just by press of a button and could even selectively turn off the lights that you want. The best, it is super responsive. Switch on and off in split second. Even the air-con and TV can be adjusted from that control. I tried their room service too. Food as deliver to my room within 15mins. Good sevices. When I ask for additional towels, they were delivered to my room without questions asked, unlike some other hotels which i stay before. However the bed was a bit too hard to my taste. I prefer those springy ones. Check in and check out are smooth but waiting time a bit long during peak hours. Check in and check out lines are all in the same Q. Would be better if separate Q are given. Overall, I like my stay very much. Would come again next time to stay longer to play at the Sunway Lagoon beside it.

I really satisfied with what i paid for. The rooms was clean and tidy which enhance my comfortness level within my staying period. The internet access was great, very fast speed. I really enjoy staying in the room with park view, it so wonderful and happening especially during nightime. Besides, i really appreciate the hotel for giving me free upgrade to executive room park view, because i have booked for only superior no view room. The room is pretty big with luxury interior view. I really love the room's decoration. Another best thing that i found while staying in his hotel was easily access to the shopping mall and shops. I don't have to travel by car to find the food, shopping and eveything. It was really fun staying here. Love it very much. Thank you sunway pyramid hotel for your kind help duing my stay. I will plan to go there again and again...

Welcoming from the start”

the welcoming reception was a great start to the whole stay. jasmin was kind enough to get us a room right away if we were ok for a non-smoking room, and it turns out we got the top most level with a nice view. upon telling her that i did not have the voucher printout, she brought me to the business centre where i could have it printed. room wise was spacious, interiors were lovely, tv, lights, aircon were all working - no problems. i even asked for extra towels cause we were planning to go to sunway waterpark and they oblidge. i thought that the room comes with wireless internet though but it dint, just the wired internet. no issues there but fyi for those who think it is. the buffet breakfast had a good variety although you pretty much will face mostly similar food daily. still it taste good enough for seconds. our package has buffet dinner as well but it was pale in comparison to the breakfast, and they only served plain water. any other drinks will be chargeable. checkout was a breeze but i find the taxi charges to airport a tad expensive though for convenience it probably be easier. overall it was a great stay and kuddoz to the more than accomodating staff at sunway pyramid hotel. will definitely go there again.

Room was nice but far fr swimming pool n breakfast”

My stay at Sunway Pyramid Hotel was alright, eventhough we stayed for 1 night before we managed to transfer to Sunway Resort Hotel. Just that to have our breakfast n going to the swimming pool, we have to walk all the way to Sunway Resort Hotel which is troublesome and time consuming. And the breakfast was just ok, not much variety. We were happy to get a transfer to e next hotel, Sunway Resort and the room we got(The Club), was way much better and beyond our expectation. Breakfast was superb. We love it so much. And one more thing, the Mandara Spa that i went was not a good experience for myself, eventhough I was given a special price as a hotel guest. I have to walk quite a distance in e so called "forest" b4 I reached the spa. The massage wise was ok, just that I have to sit up on e massage bed instead of lying, faced down for e therapist to massage my back. I felt e strain on my lower back during the whole process..I answered my feedback to e lady at e spa reception when paying, and her reply was, "Oh, u shd have take e full body massage instead!" To me that's NOT the point.. I'm too tired n don't want to waste my time arguing with her so I just paid and left. I felt more tired instead of relax after e massage, plus I have to walk the long distance back to the hotel. I find its really not worth it! Other than that our stay at Sunway Resort was great! My family, especially my kids, enjoyed themself at the Sunway Lagoon. Nevertheless, thank u for having us and I would say all the hotel staffs there were excellent! Gd job.. If we were to come back again, we will stay at Sunway Resort Hotel...im sorry but I will skip e Spa...

Fun for all ages”

sunway pyramid hotel @sunway resort-there is something for every one- young and older children will love the ice skating in the shopping complex which ajoins the hotel - the theme park is fun for all - very cheap compared to theme parks in australia- to get in and 95% of rides are free - minimal waiting time - very affordable day out for families on holiday- staff and facilities at the hotel rated very high - this was our second stay at sunway- no risks involved - i am sure this hotel would please all

Lovely hotel with wonderful service and big rooms”

My stay at Sunway Pyramid Hotel was a memorable one. I was greeted with friendly and approachable staff at the lobby. They were attentive to the questions I had for them and they were readily trying their best to meet my every request, be it early check-in and late check-out. The room had an excellent view of Sunway Lagoon and exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and size. It was one of the more spacious rooms I have stayed in. Breakfast buffet was not that fantastic but all is forgiven when you have had such a memorable holiday.
