Five Star Hotel with Affordable prices”

Sunway Putra Hotel is conveniently located in Jalan Putra where at the ground level you can find The Mall, Kuala Lumpur. Starbucks, McDonalds and other restaurants are just few seconds away. Commuting towards the City is very easy since PWTC LRT Station is also a stone throw away from the hotel. Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur is very clean, staff are accomodating, very good facilities and services. They have the best rooms at affordable prices plus a beautiful view of the Petronas tower and KL tower. We were delighted for their superior rooms which was very clean. Definitely will stay with this hotel next time.

CONVENIENT, CLEAN, AND FANCY!”

If you are looking for a place to stay where you can shop and is just an MRT or LRT ride away from the famous spots in Kuala Lumpur then Sunway Putra Hotel is your best bet! If you want to shop, eat, or exchange currencies, the Sunway Putra Mall is just below the hotel! If you want to visit any of the famour spots or shopping centers in KL then you have a plethora of options to go there: taxi, grab, or by MRT or LRT which is just adjacent to the hotel! Spell CONVENIENT! Plus, their staff is super friendly! We arrived at the hotel around 7AM and we were all so tired from the land transfer from SG and our original room wasn't available yet so they let us upgrade to the suite room and had us all checked in! We were already sleeping in no more than 30 min! The room was big, clean, and had a nice view of the KL Tower and the Petronas Twin Towers! Although I think the room was a little basic [boring] but what can you expect from hotel rooms?

I can safely say, my stay here was extremely pleasant and satisfying. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Kuala Lumpur. Firstly, I salute the customer service for being ever so welcoming and friendly. Greeted by every of their staff, this hotel really knows how to their train their workers. They were helpful and reliable too :) Thumbs up! Following that, the hotel room was really clean and spacious. We booked a deluxe room. Beds were clean and comfortable, magazines and toiletries were well organized! Thirdly, superb location! The LRT station was just right beside. Easy access through the shopping mall below. We really saved money by cutting down on transportation. Took the LRT (which were really efficient) instead of taxis; mostly refused to use the meter. The shopping mall below was really convenient if you need anything since there's Cold Storage a supermarket and other retail shops and lots of restaurants. Perfect! Oh not forgetting, we ordered room service(satay, fish and chips and cheesecake). We loved each bite of everything. It was really delicious and mouth watering. That really was the icing to the cake. They have shuttle service to KLCC and Pavilion too! Awesome!! Really happy we chose this hotel instead of any other hotels! Thank you sunway putra hotel :)

A very nice stay”

My family and are visiting Kuala Lumpur the first time and we choose Sunway Putra because the hotel is very close to the shopping mall of Putra mall. We have a very pleasant stay here. We were welcomed by a bell man and he offered the service of delivery my luggage to my room. The receptionist at check in counter is very friendly. We have spent on 2 nights here and I think it is not enough time to visit KL but we have chosen the most interesting places to visit. We have ordered room service, Nasi Goreng and deep fried spring roll and my children like it a lots. We have just take a walk from hotel to the near by mall and shop as well as having some food right there. The room is very nice and clean. The service is good. I would definitely recommend Sunway Putra to my friends and definitely stay here again when I come back to KL.

Wonderful room with exceptionally friendly staff”

We stayed at Sunway Putra Hotel for 3 days and two nights. We booked a superior room with breakfast. We arrived earlier and find that our room was not ready yet. That is not a problem as the standard check-in hour is 3pm here. The Sunway Putra Mall is currently renovating so guests won't be able to shop there until end of year 2014. As we checked in to our room. We were surprised that our room may have been upgraded to deluxe. My girlfriend was excited to find such a huge room which I am glad the hotel staff did the upgrade for us. Some guests in agoda and tripadvisor commented that the furniture is outdated. However we don't find it a big deal as they are clean and no funny smell. The bed was extra comfortable. My girlfriend claimed that her skin got smoother after sleeping on that bed. As for the bathroom, it was big and clean, everything seems to be working fine and my girlfriend loved the bathtub On the other hand, breakfast spread was average in variety, but tasted quite good. They have spaghetti, pancakes, several types of cookies, waffle, noodle soup. staff were constantly refilling the food. The fruits prepared were watermelon, honey dew, apple and papaya. I almost could not taste anything from the fruits. Finally, the swimming pool was well maintained and they have staff watching over the pool whenever there are guests using it.

very disappointed doorman”

I Stay @ Sunway Putra for the 2nd times, FO and Concierge was very Helpful, Breakfast, Room condition can not complain about it. Note for Doorman at entrance, It Happens on Friday Sept 4th,@ approximately 12.45, Since I was in a hurry and asking for a regular Taxi, clearly mentioned for a regular taxi, not a Hotel Taxi nor Executive Taxi, but with the doorman ( a bit old , short with glasses) say there's only standby taxi and cost 150 RM to KLIA. I mentioned that this is my 2nd times stay and to go in from KLIA cost me only 74,9 RM, and on March I Also have the same journey and Sanjeet The Staff arrange the same thing, @ below 100 RM to the Airport. How come doorman suggest to use Taxi @ 150 RM to Airport..?? Even the taxi driver insist I am using his service @ 150 RM to KLIA and no Other taxi allowed (according his explaination).... I am very disappointed and cancelled the inquiries and go to 9th Floor , complained to Concierge... The staff was helpful and within 5 minutes I can get what I requested, a meter Taxi good condition drive me to KLIA @ 97 RM including Tol. I am nobody, just a guest stay @ Sunway Putra Hotel ( upgrade by FO Staff), I am working for 30 years @ Hotel Business, currently I develop own Brand in Indonesia. I know some people in Hotel make extra money, doorman , from tip and commission from Taxi driver, Waiter get Tip, but not by robbing customer with push customer to use taxi at 1,5 times normal Rate, specially he/she already explain what he/she need. I believe serious issue should be made on this matter for make Sunway Putra Hotel a more pleasant and Helpful place for Customer

A Great choice!”

we had a great time in kuala lumpur and staying in sunway putra made it very convenient. the hotel is connected to a mall so finding food options for our kids was a breeze. there is even a grocery store in the mall so we were able to buy food supplies and take to our room since the room had a refrigerator, microwave and necessary kitchen utensils! convenience galore! also, the lrt station is literally right next to the hotel. upon exiting the hotel, it's only a few meters towards the entrance to the lrt which is a monorail that can take you to the city. we also visited batu caves and the ktm train for long distance travel is also of walking distance. it's a little farther than the lrt but definitely worth the walk to avoid all the necessary train transfers. in addition, the hotel provides free shuttle service to klcc---very convenient although space is very limited and there's only 2 trips (8am & 11:30am) so make sure to reserve ahead. the kids loved the pool! it had a view of the petronas tower and it was clean. i expected a bigger area though. there's enough space to lay under the sun but i was hoping there were more shaded & covered areas for those who are not as keen to get a tan :-) the only con i had for this hotel were the towels. they would only provide 2 bath towels which was difficult since there were 2 adults and 2 kids. the hand towels were worst since they only provided 2 hand towels on the first day. after taking it away for cleaning, they would not replace it anymore. when i asked the housekeeper, she said they only provide it on the 1st day (??). could never figure out the logic behind that! other than that, everything was superb! we would definitely stay in this hotel again!

great hotel for staycation in KL ”

I booked two-bedroom suite in Sunway Putra Hotel on 13 Aug 2018. We stayed one night just to celebrate my dad's birthday. The check-in was quick and smooth. Special thanks to mr. Azizhan and his team for serving all our requests . The room was really nice and  spacious. They even decorated the bed with 'happy birthday' sign using flower petals and prepared a small piece of birthday cake for my dad. Thanks Ms. Siti and team for the nice decorations n the cake. We also had dinner in the coffee house. The food were quite nice and delicious and affordable too, and good service! . They had promo on selected ala carte meal sets for only RM25 including tea/coffee and desserts. For kids meal, to get a complimentary meal for every main meal ordered, need to have Sunway Putra Mall kids club membership. For breakfast, not many selection for Malaysian food and have rooms for improvement. We definitely will come again. We really like the hotel, with the low price from Agoda, the spacious room, the food, the hospitality, we also enjoy the shopping mall just few steps away (same building) and close by  lrt station. Very recommended for those who wants to enjoy KL city centre and travel with kids especially. Thid is one of the most affordable hotels and near to the city centre.

Lovely hotel in Kuala Lumpur”

We planned to spend our 2nd wedding anniversary travelling in Kuala Lumpur so we wanted a top hotel with great amenities. We went for a Crest Room as it offered features we were looking for. From the arrival up until we got in to the taxi to leave the hotel we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. They always had a smile on their faces, which was really nice. We wanted a room with a balcony but the first room we went to didn't have one. They immediately changed it to a room with balcony. The room was very spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. The room had views of Petronas Towers and the city skyline. Guests staying in Crest Rooms had a private lounge where they can take meals and just wind down. Hotel is centrally located to major attractions in the city such as Petronas Towers, PWTC, Chinatown, Little India, National Museum, Batu Caves and many more. Taxi's, LRT train service, Sunway Putra Mall, money exchange, Starbucks, Pizzahut, Kenny Rogers and many other western and local restaurants were available just outside the hotel entrance. It was a lovely hotel and we would definitely go there again.

Nice service and beautiful room”

I was welcome by a smile of an entrance person. Then i don't need wait too long when i want to check in. Just take a few minute only with a simple form to fill in. When i step into the room, i was mesmerized with the nice set of the room that i was in. So well decorate and i think its a nice place for honeymoon. Seem that i don't want to get out from there. This hotel also have a shoping mall just beside it. such a great way to shoping there. Overall, its a nice moment when i was in sunway putra hotel kuala lumpur. Surely i will go there in the future.

Lovely Hotel and Great Location”

we had a marvelous stay in sunway putra hotel kuala lumpur. nice and wonderful interiors, very good service by the hotel staffs and some excellent dining too. very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel. the hotel was very convenient as there was a shopping centre called "the mall" below. public transport was also located nearby. there were ktm inter city and lrt located near the hotel.

Good location with rooms of a good size.”

Situated within the city in Kuala Lumpur, Sunway Putra is affordable and good value for money. It has many rooms, and even the Superior rooms are pretty large. The hotel is separated into smoking and non-smoking floors, and the important thing for me is that I am not able to smell the smoke in the air-conditioning (I have a sensitive nose), unlike a number of other hotels that I have stayed in. I would recommend Sunway Putra as an economical choice for anyone intending to stay in Kuala Lumpur.

Sunway Putra - My home away from home in Kuala Lumpur”

Sunway Putra is my hotel of choice when I am visiting Kuala Lumpur. I have stayed at the hotel probably 15 times now and I have not been disappointed. The location is IDEAL adjoining the Sunway Putra Mall so you can literally walk out the front door of the hotel lobby and go into the Mall and find many dining and shopping options. The Rooms are a very good value for the money and the staff are very courteous.

SUNWAY PUTRA HOTEL! remember this name as this is best apartment in KL! Prices are excellent, I have stayed with my husband for a 2Days1Night and honestly I am so happy we found this place. I will start from check in- receptionist very nice, friendly and helpfull.. Beautiful view from our room.. surely can make you feel like your home. The room was lovely, super clean with most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! and OMG love they pillows!!! bathroom with shower very clean. Near by shop, restaurant,mall and LRT.. Overall I had best stay ever in KL!!! and definitely will be back there and will recommended this apartment with family and my friends !!:) THANK YOU SUNWAY PUTRA HOTEL :)

Great value, position and convenience to all that ”

I always have a fantastic stay at Sunway Putra. It's my first choice for hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Love the service, rooms, food, convenience of the mall and LRT. Still close enough to city centre but not in it! Derivan at the concierge desk was also a wonderful help...I usually have my children, and they love Sunway Putra Hotel as well.

Satisfactory stay for business/solo traveller”

Stayed in Superior Room as well as upgraded one stay to Club Room with lounge access, lounge breakfast all with good city view. Location is accessible. 1 hr away from KLIA2. Within reach by walk and car within 15-30 mins to trade exhibition centres etc. Staff are generally friendly. Walking distance to PWTC train station. F&B options and prices are reasonable else Sunway Putra Mall would provide even more range of eateries to choose from. Big mall with North and South wings. Convenient access to shops, F&Bs, facilities and supermarket for Daily groceries etc. A river nearby too. Will definitely stay in Sunway Putra Hotel in future when my meetings/events locations are accessible!

Could not have chosen better”

We booked the Sunway Putra after doing a bit of research into the area and the hotel. In my opinion there is no better hotel in KL for location and value. The Sunway Putra is nestled between the ktm commuter line the LRT and a 5 minute walk to the monorail. The onsite shopping mall with a large supermarket was very handy. if you enjoy a cold beer you will really appreciate the prices for beer in the Cold Storage supermarket. KL is a very expensive place to drink beer so the supermarket was a great plus. We were upgraded to a studio apartement with free in room wi-fi and a balcony which had a great view of the Petronas Towers. The staff are unfailingly polite and very helpful. The onkey Bar and Japanese restaurant are both great. The mattress was a bit harder than I like but that is the only thing I could possibly say was not to my taste, but most people would like it.

Hotel with Elegance”

We arrived late in the hotel (around 2AM) and first thing that amazed us when we first stepped in their reception area is the stair case and the good aroma of the premise. This really made us feel that it is indeed a 5 star hotel. In the reception, there is a Filipino attendant who is very accommodating and even upgraded us from Superior Room to Deluxe. In two days that we had our buffet breakfast in the hotel, we were really impressed with the food choices (different international menu for two days). KTM Putra is just walking distance and we used it going to Batu Caves but just be mindful to check the signage and confirm that it is going to Batu Caves as different trains are going to two different routes (to Kajang and to Batu Caves). On our last day,we just bought Malaysian coffee and chocolates from the mall also being managed by Sunway at the ground floor so it is really very convenient as we don't need to go far just to have something to bring to the Philippines. Given a chance, I would really love to go back again to Sunway Putra. This is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and VERY AFFORDABLE Hotel in KL which I'm sure you would also love and will not regret visiting.

Satisfied with the service and accomodation”

Sunway Hotel is a overrated 5stars hotel, as they say they are, i guess its not 5star this day, the room is a bit old and the cr/bathroom in our room is not that white and gleaming. But we are so satisfied with the staff, its location to the public transport, the tour guide who assist us in our itineraries, daily breakfast is good but its the same food they serve for the whole period of our stay, the hotel lobby smells good too. As a tourist with kid, i can recommend Sunway Putra Hotel as one of the good place to stay in Kuala Lumpur.

Excellent Location, Unexpected Surprises”

this hotel for us was an excellent stay and we would highly recommend it for all other travellers to kl especially by plane. the instant reaction for many is for people to stay in the crowded and often very expensive areas such as bukit bintang or near klcc. you will actually be surprised how close sunway putra is to klcc given the excellent and well navigated transport system. my guide is this. if you are looking for a place where even locals tell you is good value for money, then sunway putra it is. i met several kl locals at the lobby and it was their choice of location for a staycation. if you are looking for a nice, clean and spacious room, this is the place to go. it is abit old school however there is a certain charm to it especially when you are upgraded to the crest room for free. the room was spacious, and my fiance and i had a lovely time. bed was clean, both showers and bathtubs were available and the service very friendly.
