The resort staff was great, respectful and accommodating. The room price was quite high for the type of accommodation. We enjoyed the fishing then ate our freshly caught fish cooked by the resto staff. Awesome! Some accommodation opportunities. The room was spacious but No wifi in the room, no outlet to charge your phone or gadgets. The only outlet was for the tv. The sink was tiny for a large bathroom. And there was no water to flush the toilet or wash your hands at the middle of the night without warning.. There was no notification on how to contact a staff if any problem or emergency occurs as there is no intercom in the room also. Despite all these, we had a great time at the resort. Thank you.

Hard to get to and place was noisy”
I really needed a good habal habal driver to get me to this resort with my large backpack. We had to go through rough dirt road. When I got there check-in was easy. The room that I was given was large but there was not enough privacy as the windows were large but the curtain was thin. You can hear people chatting when they come up and down the stairs or stay at the chair directly in front of my window. The door of the bathroom does not stick right away and you get self-concious of using the bathroom as you can hear the people outside so most likely they can hear you too. I did ask to be transferred but they had no room available. Free towel andctissue but no soap. Good food served at their restaurant but maybe they can offer servings for just one person. Helpful waiters though. The view was superb during sunrise (had to go to the resto to see it as there was no view in the 2nd floor where I stayed at. Also the neighbors are so noisy as they had to blast their music until the wee hours of the morning. I wish they had a dropbox for keys for guests who are checking out early as reception starts at 6am and I had to leave at 5:30.

Very rough road”
Overall the place is nice. The only thing that needs improvement is the road that leads to their resort. It's about 3km from the main road and that's 3km rough road. Not to mention the terrain is difficult to maneuver too. If you have your own car that's fit for off road like a pick-up or suv, it's easier but if you have a small car like a sedan then I say good luck.

I was very satisfied with the room I got with how much I paid for it. It is very big, with wide bed, hot shower, TV and basic toiletries. The staff are courteous and friendly. The drawback is probably the location as it is quite far from the town proper. Overall, it was a good stay.

The property is facing one of the small lakes among the three lakes in Lake Sebu. It is not along the main road and the road is a bit rough going to the property hence going out during the evening is not ideal. The room was smelly when we first got in but the staff was able to resolve it with a spray. The AC on one of the two rooms we got is not working well. We ended up having to request for an electric fan in which the staffs were very prompt to respond. Aside from that, the room is simple but spacious. The food in the place is good. Simple and affordable. Overall I would go back but this time hopefully to try their activities as we were not able to do so due to the long line in the Lake Sebu Zipline.

Very nice and cozy place but I recommend it for just two days because every day the usual (and expensive) extra food stays in a difficult area if you want to go to the city. With regard to the hotel poor cleaning with regards to smells in the bathroom. The pool has no water recycle and only replace the water for the weekend. For the service is kindness all ok.

Good for overnight stay”
A secluded resort with very close proximity to nature. Roads leading to the resort from the main highway might be rocky and bumpy but its worth it. The hotel needs to improve their bathroom as well, menu options to be updated should you choose not to eat tilapia the whole day. Swimming pool and overall ambiance is inviting. I was disappointed with the pay by coins per hour on a slow internet connection whilst the booking says I have a free WiFi.

1N Stay at Sunrise Lake Resort ”
Kids have enjoyed our little trip to this lake resort. Place is good and the food as well. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Need to improve more on the cleanliness of the room as there were mosquitoes in our room and cobwebs too! The sink is dirty and I have to clean it myself. The area around the faucets and bidet shower are stuck with dirts which could easily be cleaned.

No Sunrise nor Garden in this Noisy Resort ”
We had come here for the Helobung festival and there was a mix up in our reservations but they would not budge even if the mix up was obviously from their end. The girl at the counter essentially just said we had no choice but to take the room assigned to us which was waaay beyond our budget. We ended up paying rates comparable to our NZ hotel trip. Tsk. It was noisy because they had a group of young guests that would start shouting at ungodly hours. CR light was not working and they did not even offer to clean the room in our 3 day stay. Best to go elsewhere.

Right beside Lake Seloton, with an unobstructed view of the lake, and the mountains beyond. Staff are nice, and as a first-time female solo traveller, I felt well taken care of during my 6-day stay. It's a 15-min rough road ride from the Lake Sebu terminal, but well worth it.

Nice get-away place from the city BUT ...”
Management should improve maintenance of their facilities such as clogged shower head, leaking shower hose and too low water pressure. They should limit the loud videoke specially at night. The place was suppose to be serene and calm by the lake but instead we were bombarded with loud music and singing guests. Dont want to be a kill joy guy but please tone it down. Since this resort is also for family, management should look into limiting specific area for drinking sessions. Kids are passing thru hallways/walkways with people drinking alcohols. This resort is nice with swimming pool overlooking Lake Seloton. The staff are courteous and friendly. The food is delicious (tilapia dishes) and priced just right. There are few things management should look into to make this a perfect family get-away.

beautiful location on the waters of a lake. rooms very clean but no daily cleaning. must request towels and toiletries wen needed. Staff dont speak well english and restaurant extremely slow with orders. Breakfast menu limited. Pricing reasonable . give rating as a 2.5 star.
