Perfect location, nice staff, spacious and clean rooms, very quiet. I really don’t understand those people who complained about this place, the rate are so affordable and the service is great. The staff is always there to assist you for anything you need, from renting a motorcycle, to arrange tours and also to suggest you nice resto and beaches. The rooms are huge, comfortable and very clean. It’s very near the nightlife but at the same time you can sleep at night because there’s no noise from loud music or motorcycles. The Wi-Fi works very good, and you can easily work from home. There’s a common kitchen where you can cook, and this is very helpful to save money, so sometimes we cooked and we ate in the balcony, very nice atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were nice, cozy and spacious. the staff were accommodating and they can organize activities for you easily. One thing would have been nice are lounging chairs at the balcony. All in all we had a great stay.

I stayed in Sunflower House for 17 days and I can say that my stay there was worth it! The staff were very accomodating and are quite knowledgeable about the island. They will help you on your requests (booking transportation, surf lessons, tours, etc). The room was also clean and spacious. I highly recommend renting a motorbike though, since the location is a bit far (but not super far) from the restaurants and bars. Overall, if you want to experience peace and quiet after a night of touring and partying, this is the place to be.

The staffs are very helpful. They helped us with the tour, motorcycle, airport transfer and gave info too about the best places to visit in Siargao.

The lights inside the room is too yellowish. I wish the room also has a mirror outside the bathroom.

Ozzie at reception was so helpful. She offered me advice with my flight and having a tricycle ready for me at 4am the next day. She even offered some pastries for me since I hadn’t had breakfast yet. I am so grateful for her help when I was stressed out with rebooking my flight.

The room was spacious, they cleaned it when we needed it and provided fresh bed linen, towels, toilet paper. The receptionist is awesome. You get all the info you need, they are available through the whole day and they can provide you with anything, motorbikes, tours, recommendations etc

The wifi was not that good (for working) but the mobile data works pretty good, so not a big issue

I like the fact that it was very accessible. The room and the CR (very important) were very clean, so we were very happy about that. There were dogs and a cat! A puppy even visited our room during the stay, so that was very delightful.

My only regret was not booking an aircon room as the room became quite hot in our first night and we were wary to open the window and sleep. Also, it would be nice to have a hot and cold dispenser, but they do have a water heater and refrigerator should you need either.

I understand the island just underwent a recent typhoon but a proper AC and uncut wifi would have been nice.

I'd like the friendliness of the staff. Angela did offer to but medicines when my niece is not well which i appreciated.

For 5 days that we stayed there I have experienced 4 brown outs on a different days. Though I was told its very rare. On our day 3 we have experienced 6 hr brown out and were not able to get some sleep the owner could have been more sensitive to the guest that wants to take some rest. I know that's beyond of your control and understand that you want to take care of the business and fixing rooms as soon as possible but brown out caused as inconvenience and yet we are still hearing the noise from constructions of the rooms. I asked her if she can issue the refund for the remaining 2 nights but I was told regarding the policy. If we haven't experience any inconvenience I wouldn't think of refunding the money. The complimentary coffee, tissue and etc was not given on a daily basis. I remember I was offered to change the bedsheets that I refused but I didn't expect that bedsheets will be brought when I upgraded the room. Leakage and clogged on the bathroom.

perfect location - easy to find since its in front of the fire station. staff and owner - super accommodating. rooms - spacious and super clean. A/C is 10/10. hammocks- perfect hang out spot under the coconut trees.

as a traveller, number 1 concern for me is the signal in which you will not have any problems with in this accommodation if you dont have data the Land Lady made sure that you can work still via wifi that she already provided. number 2 concern for me is the place where I can cook. as a tourist its a part of you that you will taste the local delicacies of the land but if youre planning to stay longer you will need to find a place where you can cook in which this accommodation offers. all of the kitchen equipments and tools are already provided with ref. and lastly, the best reason to stay here is that the owner will make sure that you will have no reason to be stress with. She will do everything to make sure that everyting is convenient for you and your friends. Overall, this place is the best for me and I wouldnt have double doubts to come back here again.
