Good to visit Gunung Bromo”
I'm happy to give Sukapura Permai a decent review as I feel it is a decent hotel. It's a lot bigger than I had expected but that's not a real issue. Just be sure to get a room at the far end as we got the one just behind the reception (#201) and it was really noisy (engine noise from the road and parking nearby, people walking and talking...). The beds are quite clean (a bug or spider here or there but nothing dramatic on Indonesian standards), from what I have read and heard about accommodation around mount Bromo I think this is not a bad quality/price ratio. It is not an unforgettable hotel but it does the job. Hot water available, except when all the groups of tourists are coming back from the dusty mountain and all want to take a shower at the same time. Beware of scammers down the road in Probolinggo who will sell you packages at double or triple the usual price. In Sukapura I walked a few meters down the road from this hotel and found Mari and his family who offered to take us to visit the volcano the next morning. Reliable, cheap and nice, I'm happy to give my money to a local directly rather than spend more in a tourism agency... Beware, except 1 supermarket and a few local makan houses there is literally nothing to do in Sukapura (which could be a good or bad thing, depending on what you are looking for). WiFi slow but totally acceptable. Nice staff, helpful with pretty good English skills. Overall, decent, far from spectacular, just OK. An extra blanket at night won't be too much as it does get really chilly.

Alejado del Bromo, pero alojamiento agradable”
El encargado habla muy poco inglés y el servicio es regular. No obstante, sirven un desayuno rápido en la habitación justo a la vuelta de la visita al Bromo, lo que viene muy bien. Está más alejado del Bromo que otros pueblos como Cemoro Lawang y no tiene vistas al Bromo, aunque su ubitación es agradable.

Un horror. El recepcionista muy antipático, no había papel en el baño y no lo daban aunque lo pidieras. Problemas para conseguir una sábana. Imposible tener leche en el desayuno. No devuelven el dinero si dejas la habitación una noche antes porque te has confundido. Un desastre. Nada recomendable.

Menyenangkan, lokasi tidak terlalu jauh sehingga perjalanan dengan jip juga tidak terlalu lama. Staf ramah. Sekamar diisi bertiga ditambah handuk dan breakfast tanpa dikenai biaya lagi.
