Perfect place to stay in El Nido”

Suites by Eco Hotel was the perfect place to stay in El Nido, close to the town and to a lot of good bars and restaurant, but far enough from the craziness of the road. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the staff is very attentive and nice and the breakfast, especially the local one, is delicious. The tours to Bacuit Bay start straight from the beach in front of the hotel, which is also a great spot for the evenings and nights if you want to chill with a beer watching the stars.

My boyfriend and I arrived late at night, the staff were very accommodating and they checked us in quickly. I don't understand why others have left bad reviews cos this place is great! The room is so well decorated with eco friendly interiors and the bed is so comfy! They even asked us that night what we wanted for breakfast. What I love about Filipino breakfast is the pork tapa, so yummy and authentic. It's ideally located right by the beach, and even if we could not go island hopping cos of the rain, the hotel had board games! We just hung out by the reception and bonded, with some other guests too. It has a great vibe. And there's a commercial area called Pops with awesome restaurants and a bar that was even showing the World Cup. Wifi is only at the reception, it would be better if it could reach the room but no biggie. Overall, it was an excellent stay. We're so glad that we chose Eco and we will definitely be back :)

Very good deal ”

Staff were all attentive to our needs and very accommodating with our requests. Breakfast was yummy and had a big serving. Actual hotel looks the same with the photos. Very near the beachfront area and Globe. The location is not exactly in El Nido town proper but very accessible by riding a tricycle. If you want a quiet and relaxing surroundings, this is a good place. Only cons is that they have no wifi and no fridge.

Lovely hotel on the beach”

This is a lovely hotel situated right on the beach in Corong-Corong. Our room was facing the beach and the amazing El Nido sunsets. Very clean, great location. Close to many restaurants, shops and boat tours agencies. 5 minutes tricycle ride to town. There are many friendly dogs on the beach, if you love animals please buy some dog food for them, there is a pet shop near the hotel :) The breakfast is decent, but there aren't many options (the banana pancakes are good). The water in the bathroom is sometimes rusty. There is no wi-fi, the network signal is pretty poor on the whole island, but it works. This is a great accommodation on the beach, with beautiful view.

Super nice and clean Hotel, everything you need to have a good time in El Nido! The only thing what was missing was a WIFI connection, but they informend us in advanced that there isnt going to be a signal. The stuff is very friendly and helpfull. The place is quite and peaceful. The beach is actually amazing, the view is much better then the one in El Nido, but the sand was kind of dirty with all the plastic and stuff. At the end we really enjoyed our stay there and would go again!

Maybe the best quality/price hotel in corong corong ”

Hotel with European standards,wooden floor outside the rooms with gorgeous hammocks. Directly on the beach. Marvellous rooms designed with care and great taste,you'd like it in your house! Staff is delicious,helping and loving their job. A special thank to Datu,the real pearl of the front desk:perfect host,gentle,kind,helping, always smiling and truly caring about the guests. That's the Filipino style to remember. Yes,a side of the hotel is still under construction but all El nido is a building site!

Great little hotel * good location * friendly staff”

Stayed here for 3 nights while exploring El Nido. We are travelling for a year so were not looking for any "resort" type accomodation. Pros Clean rooms Comfortable Beds Nice comfy clean pillows Quiet rooms with great sound proofing Close to the beach Nice breakfast (simple but just enough) Solar powered Fans when Power cuts happen Hanging facilities outside your room for your swim wear to dry Resturants nearby Cons Cold showers if there hasnt been enough sunshine ( the hot water is solar powered) The safes in our room didnt work well No space to put your things like bags and hang up any clothing Far from town so you need transport (we were happy with this as it meant we would be away from the noise and we had our own bike as transport) This is a great little find and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

Great place!”

Very nice rooms, comfortable and clean. The hotel is located on the beach and has direct beach access. A few restaurants, bars and shops located just outside which makes it super easy to get anything you need. Very nice and helpful staff. The only disadvantage I found, is that the water in the shower are not really hot. But I guess all over El Nido there's issues with water... Really recommend the place :)

Great place to stay!”

This place is set in an ideal location with access to anything you need just a short walking distance away. The staff are friendly and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The rooms are spacious and clean and the Hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. Great value for money! This is the place we will stay if/when we ever come back to El Nido.

Has its ups and downs but a great hotel for the money ”

Stayed here on a 4 night stay in el Nido on our three week Philippines honeymoon vacation. The location of the hotel is great just a short 5 minute taxi ride into downtown, right on a nice quiet beach, and with a good number of bars/restaraunts/motorbike rentals/ right within a stones throw walking distance away. The staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs. The hotel is clean, but the rooms had an interesting smell to them, I believe from the toilet sewage system or the shower drainage system which was rocks around the shower floor which led to the outside (note: the shower is enclosed, but a portion of the floor leads to the outside.) this led to a few instances of geckos and a couple frogs finding their way into the bathroom through some rock openings. Again, the staff was very accommodating to getting them out. We also had some ant trail issues the first day but the staff was good in cleaning them out and even moving us to a different room. El Nido suffers from frequent blackouts and the hotel doesn't use a generator like other hotels so be ready to be out of power and water. The room does have a solar powered fan and lights, and if you want to bath or flush the toilet they'll bring you water to bath in or fill the toilet with. Breakfast isn't that great, nothing to write home about. You'll get a selection of 1)toast and jam, 3)a single pancake with a banana, or 3)scrambled eggs and slices of toast. ... either of the three. No combination of them. With a cup of coffee or cup of tea. Not all rooms have a safe. There's no wifi in the hotel. You'll have to go into downtown to get the best connection or one of the neighboring restaraunts... but those don't have very good connection. The staff, again, is very nice. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but not a great one either... but good value for the money if on a budget and don't want to do a hostel and visiting all el Nido and need a safe/quiet hotel to come back and sleep in at night

Very good”

Ther location is outstanding because most trips of the tours you can do to the islands or unesco heritage just start infront of your house. The beach and waterquality is not the best in coron coron infront of ECO but better than el Nido and anyways most people are on the daily tours. Or you can just take a scooter in 10 min to ...spelling wring but...las cabanyas, nice beach. We took the 99 USD room for the seaview GF left which is really spectecular view and sunsets every evening. Best Bar after a tour for dinner walking distance left along the beach is "La Plange". Best food an really insider in El Nido run by French, fusion kitchen little more expensive 400p mains but definetly worth it. ECO´s The showers are soso, as well the beak fast selection could be done with a little more, Müsli with nice fresh local fruits etc. But most places are not much better. The service was very friendly and warm harted. NO water plasticbottles free water very nice move!

Decent Hotel at El Nido”

The hotel was conveniently located at POPs District in Corong-Corong where the Island Hopping Tours in the area are located. Travel tours, diving shops and some local restaurants were close to this hotel as well. Hotel doesn't have WiFi, so do not expect you will be online at all times. Mobile phone signals was not that great as well. So prepare to be disconnected for quite sometime, just relax and enjoy the view and peacefulness of El Nido. It was a beach front hotel which comes with complimentary breakfast. Just basic, toast with jam and eggs; pancake and bananas. No rice though or Filipino breakfast. Front desk is 24 hours open so you don't need to worry in checking in just in case you had a very late van transfers schedule from Puerto Princesa. The room was clean and spacious. Air conditioning works fine. You just have to ask the front desk for your toiletries as they don't automatically provide it in your room. The bed was comfy, firm and spacious as well, enough to fit two people. There's hot and cold shower but you need to wait for a little while for it to work fine. There's also available hammocks for your lazy downtime. They say that there's electricity interruption within the island so blackout occurs from time to time, as for us, we never experienced it maybe because they already had back up generators and solar powers just in case this will happen. Don't expect too much or extra effort from the staff with regards to services, although they were very nice and will greet you every time they see you.

I really love the place knowing its eco friendly. The location is right by the beach which is also the meet up place for the island tours. Very quiet and clean plus the area has a lot to offer like the restos, massage, bar, and travel agency. It is 10-15mins tricycle ride going to the town proper. Breakfast is okay. I would like to commend Ms Dana of eco hotels for always assisting us during our stay.

A little expensive for what you get”

We stayed for 3 nights here. Located directly at the beach and in the Pops district gives it a young and chill vibe. You find a few nice bars, little shops and good restaurants around here. The welcome was friendly. After we checked in and got into our room, we noticed a moldy smell and it was highly humid and also there were mushrooms growing out the wall in the modern looking bathroom between shower and toilet.. I really ask myself If no one checked on it every now and then.. mushrooms and molds don't grow over night.. I don't think It's been a new "problem" though. That bathroom needs def. to get renovated to solve that problem. But I don't blame the staff for it. Of course they do their best :) The responsiblity relies on the Management/Owner of Eco Hotel. But I want to point out, the staff is friendly and helpful and offered us right away a new room. A lot of rooms were empty so we were lucky we could move to another room. It was located on the other more quiet side with the hammocks :) (would recommend this side, if you wan't more privacy and less noise from the passing people and bar. So we took room 103 :) we were quite happy with it. The breakfast was good, enough options to choose from. I liked the terrace :) I really liked the woody natural style of the room and the painted brick Walls :) The bed was good to sleep in. I wished for a little more storage space for our stuff/luggage and the sliding doors are a little heavy to close. Would I book this hotel again ? Probably not until they improve a little more, simply because it was quite expensive for what I've expected and what we got offered. (377€ for 3 nights incl. Breakfast though) I get it when you have a good Location like this, you can make guests pay quite a bit more, but if you want to compete with surrounding Locations, better add a little more luxery experience for your guests. We noticed a lot of rooms were empty and wondered why. I really like the concept of trying to be as Eco friendly as poss

Cute ECO hotel”

Staff were accomodating, they clean our room 3-4 x a day. We had the sunset room which is facing the sea. The room is equipped with nespresso machine :) all was good i just wished we had a hammock instead of the sunbed in front of the room but we liked this hotel fornita eco and island vibe style! :) Breakfast is not buffet but a plate of filipino breakfast / continental is fulfilling enough and its delicious! Thank you ECO hotel :)

Very nice hotel close to everything! ”

We where very happy about the location of this hotel, because it is right at the Corong-Corong beach, so you can easily go for a swim, boattrips and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The room was cute with organic materials and clean. However the staff was not as friendly and helpful as we have experienced elsewhere in El Nido, and they did not have a nice restaurant for use in the evening. But all in all a great stay for 1-2 nights og close to both beach and town. We would come back again! :-) :-)

Great stay - clean and new, on the beach and central”

Really liked it here after trying a few options in El Nido - it's a new hotel, with some construction still going on, but had a great shower/breakfast/bed/common space. It's also right on the beach in the middle of everything. Would stay again!

Excellent”

We would like to thank the staff of the hotel for being so nice and friendly. The were able to accommodate us in El Nido. The food was superb. The room is nice. We were just dismayed eith the bath towels as they werent clean as it should be. The water in the tank of the toilet bowl was overflowing. We asked their attentions so many times. They even called a maintenance to fix it but it's just the same thing.

Great location, ok room & facilities”

We had the sea view premier room which was on the ground floor right at the front and on the beach with a double aspect patio doors so great views. The room however was pretty small, there was no where to put cases and no where really to hang clothes up. (No wardrobe and the rail was rubbish as couldn't hang anything up on it!) The lady kindly bought me a table to put my case on as I can't really bend down to get into my case. It was quite a noisy room also, there was a loud drip outside (water on the air conditioning unit apparently) and they are also building a extension to the hotel. Didn't like that the was just a sheet on the bed, I know it's but I like something a little heavier covering me (personal preference). I did have to ask the cleaner to clean the toilet bowl (this looked quite dirty!) and spray the room for mossys, they did it one night but the next night they didn't have any spray. The breakfast is poor, little choice. Wi fi only works in the outdoor reception area. There are a lot of mossys around, I got bitten a lot especially at breakfast. Great looking place however & staff were very accommodating. Nice location, 10 min ride into town and there's a little strip of a handful of restaurants/bars nearby & on the beach. The beach does need a bit of a clean however & watch out for dog poo on the beach. It's the quieter end of el nido. Will definitely return to el nido.

Like the idea but not well executed ”

Loved the idea behind this hotel: eco friendly and cute suites but even during our short stay we experienced two power outages. This was something I knew before booking but didn’t know it was actually so common especially during hours when tourists all return from excursions. The price was also not ideal ($90 USD/ night) especially when the rooms were mediocre at best. Bathrooms were not clean and our room was next to one under construction so a lot of noise coming in the morning. There were also a lot of mosquitoes due to the vent in the bathroom that didn’t have a net to prevent them from coming in If you are ok with these shortcomings, the location is definitely great. A lot more quiet than El Nido proper and close to many tour bookings, restaurants and healthy foods stores!
