There was no breakfast included but there was rusks and tea/coffee in the room. The location was close to our destination Bekker High school.

Before I even entered the place,as I approached the entrance gate.I loved the beautiful white walled entrance with beautiful flowers and some greenery.The different chalets made me feel as if I was in the Cape,with the beautiful special & unique Cape Town Property design,die Kaap. The place attracts you from far in comparison to the other neighboring holiday accommodation Estates in there. When I entered the place the owners welcomed us nicely, with warmth & it showed that they were expecting us. As we greeted, we started talking as if I knew them from my past,yet I just met them. Waw, as I opened the door into the self catering chalet, I was so happy to see such a beautiful and clean place.The kitchenette fully equipped with everything one can think of. All the braai equipments are fully provided to guests. The entire chalet had the necessary even extra things that one would have in a full functioning home. I felt at peace,happy,refreshed,excited and safe. It was really worth it,in addition to the surrounding tourist attraction places which I visited like the Cradle of the human kind,which is just 6km away from Steenkoppies,it was really worth it and I'm gonna visit the place again soon for my next holiday. There is a swimming pool,there is more.Let me stop here.

Such a beautiful tranquil place. We had a warm welcome by owner, such a wonderful soul. The place is easy to find. The room we had was quite big and spacious, clean, warm blankets and there's a heater+aircon.

The reason I gave it a nine is there they have dogs, they are friendly and often in the house, however I'm terrified of dogs. Overall experience was amazing..

The place is stunning and definitely worth many return visits. The hosts- Louis and Gerhard are amazing and will go to various lengths to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable!

It is well maintained and cleaned and the owners are very friendly! Will definitely be back!

Perhaps check the shower head in unit 1. The pressure isn’t great.

Pristine, peaceful, perfect. Attentive host, amazing units, so comfortable with everything you need. What a gem Steenkoppies is, and so close to Joburg. Will be back for sure.

The snacks left for us to enjoy were delicious, a lovely surprise! The bedding, towels etc were beautiful and clean. Looked brand new! We loved the relaxing almost vintage style sooo much!!! Beautiful decor!!! The host was really helpful and very welcoming and friendly, without being “in your face”. The feeling of nature outside was very refreshing and relaxing - exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway!

There isn’t anything we didn’t like, it was an overall great experience!
