Beyond Expectation”

At first i am hesitant to get my reservation because of the reviews but i trusted my instinct and was amazed with Starwood! Staff were great! Our room was big than expected and a well spent money for me! I will go back again and book with Starwood. Kudos!

Hotel Review”

Location- the location was good because it was very near to Kennon Road and to city proper also Receptionist- they do not greet the guests upon entering the entrance door or even smile at us even once and the attending receptionist during our first day just tied up her hair like she was a washerwoman Room boy- when we called for make up room they attended immediately and cleaned our room fast but it was clean Cafeteria- no other foods to offer, all was breakfast and rice toppings & the last cashier i approached seems to be confused maybe due to heavy number of visitors Parking- since we checked in during APEC, the parking lot were full but we were given priority by the kind security guard everytime there is an available slot, and I give him two thumbs up also for checkjng our car also Conclusion: I was not expecting a luxurious type of accomodation. What I am expecting is that the front office staff may offer an extra mile by approaching/greeting the guests upon entering or asking the guests' stay if they were happy at the service, etc. I was a receptionist before at a 5 star hotel but either it is a 5star hotel or not if the staff can make their guests happy and comfortable, that will make a difference to others. I just wanted a comfortable place and it was achieved by Starwood Hotel but for the front office staff it saddens me that they don't create a good relationship to guests. I even approached them more than 5x because I was asking for directions everyday, but none of them asked how was our stay. I also think they lack --- up selling of item, they had their maps to offer for guests but it was just behind. They must offer it upon check in, why not try? It's a marketing strategy right. Front Office must IMPROVE.

Good value for your money”

we booked two rooms with two beds each. - beddings are clean - the size of each bed was actually bigger than i expected. It can fit two people - cockroach inside the room. Eek -no view from the window. Wall lang makikita mo. Hehe not an issue with me though - towels looked dirty. I think they used to be color white - clean bathroom - dirty carpet - ac working - room with electricfan & ac - no hair dryer sa cr - remote of the tv was not working. Didnt bother to call the hotel attendants, since we rarely watched tv during our stay - the hotel is beside a gasoline station, coffee shop that closes at 10pm, pancake house, and may 711 sa lobby area. - receptionists and staff were very nice to talk and deal with, they even allowed us to have an early check in without additional charge. Thank you tlga. We checked in at around 11am i think. - super accesible ng location ng hotel - no smoking area. Sa labas ka lang ng hotel pwede mag yosi. (At your own risk) since they also have a city ordinance about smoking in public - elevator of the hotel needs some cleaning up - walang doorbell ang room - no access card, susi lang for locking the door - cabinets inside the room is broken, pero you can still use it. - for the free toiletries, they only provide, soap and shampoo - you have to request or ask them to clean up the room. Otherwise they wouldnt do it. - hot/cold shower - no bidet, no pail, no dipper or tabo - some bathroom fixtures where broken - they have guard on duty Despite some nega comments that i listed down, i would still recommend the hotel because of its location, the price and yung room nila pwede na. Comfortable enough to sleep in.

You get what you pay for”

We just needed a place to stay for a night and this was on sale so it was perfect. The room was clean and tidy. We thought we'd have a problem with the AC because it was old but we were wrong. It was really cold come night time maybe because it was cold in Baguio anyway. They had hot and cold shower which I like. What I didn't like is when we got off the elevator there was a pile of sheets and plate on the floor right by the elevator. It was sitting there for hours. It was a mess. The restaurant at the lobby served different food choices but mostly oily even my 15yr old daughter said she didn't like the food. At around 10pm there was a huge rodent that went inside the closed restaurant. 0_0

Very affordable and perfect location!”

The hotel is situated just at the back of the Burnham Park, that's why it's really accesible (5-10mins. walk to the city proper and vise versa). The staffs were accommodating. However, the actual room is different from the photos posted here. But, for a very cheap and affordable hotel, this place is worth your budget!

Good cheap hotel near Burnham park”

Pros: - Cheap P3,300 for 3 days and 2 nights stay. - Big room (rm 414) - Big toilet and bath. Has bath tub. Hot water on sink and shower is working fine. - Has a canteen on lobby which serves good affordable food. Pork chop and quarter chicken is great. - It also has 711 which is open 24 hours - Location is 15 mins walk to Burnham park or SM Baguio. Cons: - The hotel is old, expect it to be like one. - Bed sheets needs improvement. Has no comforter, only has a fleece blanket. - Curtains looks very dirty - TV has very weak signal. Cannot watch at all. - Haven't tried the WiFi. - Toilet needs more improvement. No bidet. - Shower on bath tub is not that strong, but still useful. - Towel seems clean, but it does look very old.

We booked this hotel for 16pax = 3 deluxe3 rooms. Our only concern was just to have a good place to sleep and close to all the common tourist spots since our purpose of our stay in Baguio was just to walk around, enjoy the place for bonding as a team. P500 per pax was not bad at all. They even upgraded one of our rooms since it’s not yet ready when the time we arrived. ✔️Good location, affordable, has 711 located at the ground floor. Extra towels and pillows at no additional cost. They have AC. ✖️Needs rennovation, low pressure of water, small beds (the queen bed in their description is just a double size bed).

Affordable yet great experience!”

I have already booked a room when I decided to read the reviews of the hotel. I have read some negative reviews, however, contrary to those, my kids and I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and could accommodate a large group. Though the building was obviously old, its strategic location is way too perfect for a quick escape from the busy Metro. The lobby cafeteria offers a sumptuous and yet affordable meal, which can be delivered to your room without the additional cost. One thing is for sure, we will be back to the hotel and will try their suites on our next visit :)

They’ll give you a stub to claim it later. ✅ Trustworthy & Friendly staffs ❎ A bit pricey for 2 nights (or is it just because we booked just a week before?) Overall, Not fancy as others but still a nice place to stay & it is very accessible to public rides.

value for money... hotel is in best location, very accessible to tourist destinations. The hotel is quite old but the clean. The facilities are good, room is clean and the staffs are nice and very accommodating. They respond quickly whenever we need something. It is fine that the booking does not include breakfast, their restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. Wifi is working good. We will definitely go back.

Stayed here for the panagbenga festival. rates were of course cheaper here (thanks agoda!). We were allowed to check as early as 7am. thank goodness. Everyone was friendly. As posted in the rooms, they will only make up the room as requested. We also saw that they will charge 20% if you have outside food delivered to your room (no charge if you walk in with boxes of pizza or other junk food tho lol). Staff were very prompt with requests for replacement towels, pillows and blankies. Minor issue was that they ran of hot water in the bathroom. And there were 2 small cockroaches in the room. I saw tho that they had pest control handling it, so that's a good thing 🌝 Location - cant complain, as it was relatively easy to hail a cab / book a ride in the area. Hotel is quite near burnham and sm and other food establishments. There's a 7-eleven, fruit stand and a pharmacy nearby too. Would recommend this hotel to my friends.

We arrived in baguio too early and the staff let us check in at 9am. We also got in traffic at overstayed for 1hour but after giving the key they just told me that everything is okay. Super nice staff!

We arrived at 12mn in Baguio City but our scheduled check in time is 2pm. There are no available deluxe rooms but the staff upgraded the room into suite so that we could check in earlier but in the same price. The staff in the receiving area was nice and accommodating.

I am surprised how lenient the hotel when it comes to their policy. I also work in a hotel so I know how the system works. Starwood Hotel is very recommendable. If there's anything bad that I noticed, I think it's the smell of their towel. But that's about it.

Staff were nice. I think they did their best to keep the hotel clean but with the old facilities like windows l, cabinets, aircon and tiles to name a few however hard they keep it clean it looks the opposite. The hotel though is nice if its just for a place to stay the night and leave your things while you explore Baguio. The owner should really consider renovating it little by little. Starting with the reception area. If they could do that, the hotel could get an excellent review.
