Waldorf Stadium Delivered”

As part of attending a wedding in Auckland, we booked 4 rooms and requested they be adjacent for ease of organisation and coordination - Waldorf was able to accommodate the request. Location is close to the Auckland CBD but not too close to get the city noise. It's about a 10 minute walk to Queens St/Britomart. The hotel is ideal for business or family travellers as the rooms have full kitchen and laundry facilities. Room amenities are above average compared to other hotels in its class. A supermarket is next door if you need additional supplies. Rooms are kept to a clean standard. Parking at the back of the hotel is chargeable. Internet is free at the lobby only.

A hidden gem in Auckland”

I would say this hotel is a hidden gem in Auckland. It's only a step away from cool cafes and bar and supermarket, and 5-minute walk to Auckland Downtown and city center. The bus stop is even right in front of the hotel's door! The best of all, this hotel give free parking for the whole stay ( I stayed for 2 nights). The room is very clean, tidy and well equipped. Definitely would come back and recommend this hotel to everyone I know!

The Waldorf Stadium met all our needs during our 2 night stay in Auckland CBD. It is very strategically located very close to bus stops, train station, places to eat and to the wharf. They were also being runned and managed by good and attentive staff. Kudos to Jessie and to Marco who were very friendly and amiable too. They made our stay here more comfortable since both of them were proactive in dealing with us. Kindly pass on these good words to them. The room is self-contained and well-equipped. Most of all, thank you for the upgrade! That act made our trip more memorable. Will definitely stay here again.

Awesome self contained hotel room deluxe standard”

The room was amazing, very new and modern it was an easy walk to public transport and it was located right in the heart of Auckland City. There was a supermarket within 2 mins walk and the cooking facilities in the room allowed to me cook meals. I highly recommend this apartment/hotel

First time users of this hotel. Very pleased with all aspects of the Stadium Waldorf and would certainly choose this venue again when attending events at the Vector Arena or wanting accommodation in the Auckland CBD.

Very comfortable stay”

I only stayed one night, but it was extremely comfortable. I was upgraded to an apartment from a hotel room. It had everything I was looking for regarding facilities. The location was very handy to the Skybus stop, wharf area, lots of lovely restaurants and bars and rental car places. I would stay here next time I visit Auckland.

Auckland ”

Everyone was SO helpful. The staff was always able to answer our questions. They had taxis ready when we needed them, they made sure the shuttle was on time and where to eat, what to see. Nothing was too much trouble. We came in from a cruise and stored our luggage before flying out to Cairns for 4 days. Our flight back into Auckland didn't get in until midnight. There was staff there to check us in. Also we were able to store our luggage again overnight before we left to come back to the US. This took a lot of the worry away and let us focus on New Zealand.

Clean and tidy apartment”

Went to Auckland for a weekend getaway, it was really convenient staying here, short walking distance to bitromart and queens street. We had delicious vietnamese place downstairs and countdown was only opposite the road as well. Kitchen was easy to use and pretty happy with what they provided us. Slightly noisy at night but everything else was fine. Parking was next door to us so super easy to carry things in and out, charges I think around 30/day? Would go back again!

we came here for a concert at vetor arena, which is literally 2min walk!! close enough to town and sky city that its only a 10min walk, and a 15min walk to the meusem. we will definately be staying here again next time we are in auckland

Convenient but improvements to make even better”

I was upset after travelling to find all parking unavailable to take luggage out to rooms. Parked on footpath - another guest told me about parking building. First Timer to hotel so, would have liked a parking option payment before arriving and directions and information on parking building - was great once I knew what to do. Would have preferred our rooms to have been next to each other as it was a family weekend away and I had booked months ahead of time for 2 x 2 bedroom Apartments - the soap dispensers in Room 304 need thorough cleaning along with shower internal edging and shower hose replaced. TV reception both rooms hazy and not great. Lovely rooms with great facilities - did mind we were facing the road and would ask for another placement next time. Front Office staff helpful and apartments well equipped, handy to all things we wanted to visit in Auckland - so we will stay again with definate requests. Great value, 4 star + ”

I stayed 3 nights at Stadium Waldorf Apartments with my non-English speaking elderly family. It turned out to a superb choice. The staff are warm and helpful, the location can't be beaten. 10min walk to the ferries and Viaduct and 2 min walk to Countdown and a giant Chinese supermarket across the road. My family was able to buy food from the Chinese supermarket and cook it the way they like it in the apartments. It really helped to make them feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the Wifi speedy. The lift was broken at one point, but it was fixed the next time I had to use it. The only thing I found a little inconvenient was the car parking. The car parks are in a building under 2 minute walk from the apartment itself. It can be very confusing when you first get here not being able to see a parking area at all. There is 5min road side parking in front of the hotel though for dropping off luggage and initial check in. Highly recommend!

Very Good Location”

We were very happy with our stay at The Waldorf Stadium. The complex is new and is in a great location, Walking distance to the city and transport and just far enough away from the middle of the nightlife so it wasnt noisy. A local supermarket close by and also some cheap eats was also handy. Got a bonus of a free upgrade to a 2 Bedroom apartment on arival, so things started very well. The apartment was a good size and modern, Balcony always a bonus. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. Only complaint was the bed was hard and uncomfortable, not to our likeing, But that wouldnt stop me from staying here again.

Fantastic stay”

The stadium Waldorf apartments are very centrally located in the city with a great restaurant and if you didn't feel like eating at their restaurant there are plenty of little dinning places just outside the back door. The units are generously sized with all the mod cons you could expect in your own home. A great place to stay would Recommend them to anyone and have already done so. one bedroom has no window, overall it is ok”

the hotel is walking distance to city center, the rooms are well equipped. the furnitures are a bit old. One bed room has no window and top wall is made of glass. so the two bedrooms are next to each other, since it is a thin call, so not much privacy as you can hear anything, even the snoring from the next bedroom.

Nice Stay!”

Our family of three spent a week at the Stadium Waldorf over Christmas. The apartment was confortable and the facilities enabled us to have a relative in for Christmas lunch. Our only problem was that the internet speed was extremely slow - despite us being assured that it should be capable of supporting 4 devices it barely managed to enable one that kept dropping out and the speed was very slow.

Our stay at the Stadium Waldorf Apartments was excellent. The rooms are new, spacious, clean, well-appointed. couldn't have asked for anytthing more except for a view (there is no view). the location is pretty good - 10 to 15 minutes walk to most things in the CBD. For example the ferry terminal is 10 minutes. The area is safe and there is a 24-hour major supermarket just around the corner. All in all highly recommended.
