From the website, the facility looks incredible with many options. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are clean. Our room the one air conditioner was not working and still did not work even when maintainable was sent to fix it - bed side lamp was also not working. - the games room need serious up grading the pool tables are moldy and broken - no balls for the table tennis - all the games need money to play and many were off or broken - the cricket nets are broken and the courts are badly maintained. The food is ok, but the paid dinners are way over priced for what they are. Was hoping to get into the gym or spa but they were closed on a weekend. The jacuzzi were either tooo hot where you could not get in or no heat or bubbles at all. We had to seek entertainment else where around the area, which was far and few. I would not recommend this place as a family destination as it has been advertise. I am sorry to say

Good place but need some work”

Firstly, staff need to be more welcoming. The day we arrived we only have two towels and no hand towels. Secondly, having no options when you want room service is not really room service. We had to go to reception to order room service and they would provide variety of the buffet food. Place is beautiful owner and staff need to put a little more to make the stay much more enjoyable

Rooms need serious upgrades. Staff is amazing and friendly. Indoor pool cold, jacuzzi didnt use was leaking, put-put nice but underwater and need small maintenance, no dustbin and broken bottle, only restaurants at reception was open closed at the pool. Not much to do if you have kids. Foon and service good.

Great value, professional staff, clean rooms”

My family had a great time. Rooms were clean, water was hot, lovely garden views. Staff were excellent - helped with requests, very courteous, pleasant. Nice facilities for adults and kids, could do with some upkeep though. Location was close to Jhb North so it didn't feel too far and half the travel was on the highway which was excellent.

This place is not too bad, what I didn't like was the room was stuffy, there is no fridge or a warmer(Microwave) in the rooms. I mean it's hot we couldn't even keep cold water with us. Otherwise the staff is friendly the location is awesome, the place look stunning from outside, there is peace.

Horrible ”

The food is horrible, the expensive buffet was not a buffet but the price was of a five star buffet. Total rip off. One of the rooms in the family unit had water in the wardrobe and they refused to give us another unit claiming to be fully booked and they were not. I’ll not recommend this hotel at all. The staff is friendly though.

General overview ”

A place to do nothing. Swimming. Mini golf. Tennis courts in good condition. The grounds were well tended. No walking trails anymore. This was my main reason to go back to the hotel. Rooms were clean and in good condition. Food was basic and limited in variety. Overall we enjoyed the opportunity to relax and unwind.

The place is in the middle of no where no activities to do around, we had to drive almost 45 minutes to get activities and when we got there only one activity was available which was zip lining and we were not interested in due to our age being or 50. The room was not what had booked on line, it was smelling, the bathroom had a sewage smell as if it was not cleaned. Dinner was very expensive R250. 00 per person per plate. This was very eworst mini holiday weekend away I have ever been. On Sunday early hours of the morning (before 7) we were workenup by a loud sound of music that was being played from the parking lot by other guests and management did nothing about it.

Noisy party in car park through the night”

There was a function and the guests continued to party in the carpark through the night and past breakfast time. The staff did not do anything about the noise. If they have a function booked for the night you will stay find somewhere else to stay instead.

The staff were great and helpful. SPA was exceptional. The rooms were clean but require upgrades. The manager Eric was great as well

We enjoyed a 2 night stay. The spa was the highlight of our stay. Restaurant only offers buffet. The rooms need an upgrade however it is tidy. The putt putt and kids facilities desperately need attention.

The place is beautiful. My kids enjoyed themselves but I suggest they consider putting bar fridges and wifi in the rooms. Only had access to wifi at the reception. Maybe room service telephones for emergency should also be considered. I would definitely go back

The Food was not great and the rooms needs an upgrade. They need new linen and towels. Communication is very vague, no wifi on the rooms yet when you book it says free wifi. Upgrade their website, have menus in the rooms. Overall the place is peaceful and great if you are looking for a quite time.

New Years Eve”

What a big disappointment ...firstly our rooms were booked wrong... Then the one room smells badly... Our room s toilet leak...and become also smelly.. The towels was very this with threads...look as if it belongs on the floor... The breakfast was so terrible... there was not enough glasses juice and plates...even cutlerley we must ask ..eventually we booked out and went to stay somewhere else. Terrible dont go there!!!
