JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa

"Pros:1 mile bike ride to Camelback Echo Creek trailhead-otherwise you have to hope to get a spot in the parking lot. Pool and hot tub area are really large and nice, fitness center offers multiple and great classes per day, concierge is friendly and helpful and her office is cozy with tons of books to borrow and family games to plau, breakfast buffet at Rita’s is really extensive and delicious, fires burning in clay ovens throughout common areas give it a cozy feel, we saw hummingbirds feeding on the bushes, rooms are large and fit our family of 5 with an extra mattress/cot on the floor, toiletries smell really good. Only complaint was the $14 pina colada price. Dinner at Rita’s was pretty good, not as tasty as the breakfast buffet. We had a great 2 night stay. "

Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia

"We recently stayed at the Omni at Montelucia the second week on March. Not knowing anything about the Pheonix/Scottsdale area, I researched dozens of properties looking for a property that would work well for our family (2 adults, 9 yo, 7 yo). There are a lot to choose from but because of the deal on the Omni, we ended up going with it. We are so happy we did! The property is beautiful, pictures on line don’t do it justice. We had a room in building 9 in the back side (single story). It had a yard area in the back that the kids would run around and play in. I read some reviews saying the buildings were forever was about a 3 minute walk to the main pool, so I guess those people don’t enjoy walking and enjoying a beautiful property. The resort has 2 pools, the main pool and an adults only pool. We spent time at the main pool. Again, loved slides or anything crazy like that but put a kid in a pool and that’s all it takes. A great time and will be back!"
