Lovely hotel, nice staff and great location”
We stayed in "Sonnet Saigon Hotel" at our second visit in Ho Chi Minh City for four nights. At our first time in the city we stayed in the tourists' recommended district, district one. "Sonnet Saigon Hotel" is at district three and we loved the location and the hotel ten times more. It's a short walking distance from district one and it's just next to: the biggest park in the area, very good laundry service ("F5 Laundry", 12/2 Thuong Dinh), little supermarket and two nice restaurants (one local in the building across the street), and second Italian ("Le Crespo restaurant", 63 Thuong Dinh St.) with live music and amazing atmosphere!). The rooms were really nice and super clean, and the staff was lovely. It's a new hotel, hence they have a few small things to work on… But in total, it's definitely a very good hotel.

A place like home”
I stayed twice in Sonnet Saigon Hotel, first when my airplane landed in Ho Chi Minh City, and it was such a nice place that I booked it again for the days that I had in the city before leaving the country by plane again. I felt like home, it's clean, comfortable, it's great to have a place like that where you can really rest and relax after traveling so much around the city. The people there are really helpful for anything you need, I needed to print important documents and they did it quickly, always ready to help you with any necessities. Breakfast is great, many different dishes to choose. I really recommend it!!

Comfortable and Classy Stay at Affordable Prices”
I booked a total of five Junior Suites with Sonnet Saigon Hotel for a group of eight. They were very pleased with their rooms and happy during their two nights stay. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the mornings. The hotel is also within walking distance to several eateries and even a Pizza Hut restaurant. Nearby, there is also a park for those travelers who must go for an early walk. Taxis are aplenty and the staff will be more than happy to arrange transportation if needed. The rooms are well-appointed and surprisingly quiet, without the usual bustling sounds from the countless motorcycles. Lastly, the bed is huge and comfortable, with firm and good pillows to ensure a well-deserved rest at the end of the day.

Nice Hotel”
We grew to like this hotel, the staff ratio at this hotel is a lot less than other hotels with this rating in Asia, we had to wait some time before we could be served when sitting in the lobby, however the staff were friendly and courteous, the room was a little smaller than what we expected, however the shower was good, the food was about average for the rating, location was good, within walking distance to the Diamond Plaza and other attractions, there was a nice park close buy, where we joined the locals in exercise very early mornings on a regular basis, If we visited Ho Chi Minh City again, I would consider staying at this hotel again

Wonderful accommodations”
My husband and I loved our one week stay at Sonnet Saigon. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean with daily turn down service. The rain shower was a wonderful luxury we weren't expecting. Breakfast buffet is good, but what stands out are the eggs to order and selection of fruit. The staff were wonderful and so accommodating. We returned late one evening after Tet (New Year) celebrations, and some them were celebrating outside. They kindly offered us a seat and shared their delicious food with us. It was so fun! They were so hospitable and kind in every way. We need to fly back to Saigon when we exit Vietnam, and we will be staying again at Sonnet Saigon for our last night. Looking forward to it!

The perfect welcome”
A very centrally located hotel which made my first day nervousness disappear very quickly. Using only the map the staff provided for me, i found that most of the tourist destinations of the city were withinn 15 to 30 minutes away on foot and we did not even get lost once. Thanks Sonnet Saigon Hotel. A perfect welcome.

A Little Paradise in District 3 - Ho Chi Minh City”
Visited Ho Chi Minh City and was staying here for 3 nights and 4 days. Hotel is excellently located in 5-10 min walk from all the major attractions of the city. Food options inside the hotel and nearby are plentiful. Some nice cafes , Starbucks etc are also around the corner. The breakfast spread is definitely one that I would recommend. The range of choices are brilliant and well made. Only thing they can focus is on the presentation, as it did not look that appealing to the eyes. A point to take care of - Service. The service is a tad bit not up to the mark as you would expect out of a property like this. Overall - definitely recommended. Worth the money spent on this. 100 stars for the location and convenience to things.

Worth giving it a try”
Sonnet Saigon is a nice hotel for a 3 Star Hotel. Only 1 year old this property is clean, modern and serviceable. Located on the fringe of District 3 in Ward 6 (close to District 1) you’ll find this property accessible. I spent 9 nights at this property, which is well and truly above the average, so a great chance to get to know the hotel and operations. I was located in Room 807 (Deluxe Room), the higher rooms are better as there is less outside noise, and the view wasn’t bad. Now here goes… The Bell Boy First impressions do count, he was fantastic and couldn’t do enough to assist, but I guess that’s his job – his name is Minh Tân Lê, he was smartly dressed and very proud to wear his name badge, his daily contribution to the hotel, this guy is definitely promotion material, certainly the hardest worker I’ve seen here. The Restaurant Um what can I say here!! You’ll get a breakfast included with every stay. The kitchen is not one of the Hotel’s strong points, in fact it would be well worth giving it a miss, this is why: • Food Preparation is good, but poorly maintained. • Food Warmers often allowed going cold – potential health risks. • Contamination with mixing utensils with servery. • Staffs are more interested in watching Fashion TV than they are interested in serving you. • You’ll be an inconvenience, for simply asking for an Omelette. • Staffs don’t love their job. The Reception The Reception Staff were excellent and always offered a smile and a hello when walking passed the room. Nothing was too difficult and they were always ready to assist, wether it be arranging a taxi or simply to have a shirt ironed. Housekeeping Limited English but always offered a smile and knew how to engage the guests with pleasantries when engaged. My room was always spotless with crisp linen. My clothes washing were always late (after 8pm) but I still received my items back on the same day, so this wasn’t actually a complaint.

Comfortable stay in Sonnet Saigon Hotel”
This is the 2nd time staying in Sonnet Saigon Hotel. The hotel is near to many eating place and restaurants. The room is clean and comfortable and quiet which I like about. However, the buffet is still the same as before. Overall, I would recommend to stay in this hotel even though it is not in the city center, but if you like to walk , it is not very far to Ben Thanh Market (15mins), War Museum (10mins).

Great Hotel in Saigon”
Great hotel in a perfect location to the key attractions in the heart of Saigon. The staff was great but most seemed afraid to speak much English. We would highly recommend the Sonnet Saigon!

Great stay”
The location is just right for anyone who looks for a quite place in the heart of Saigon. Dont let the fact that Sonnet Saigon is in district 3 bother your mind, its acutally close to every attractions and local amenities. The room i got was brand new and nicely decorated. The staff always tried hard to make me feel like i was home, except the restaurant staff. Everything in Sonnet is great but be aware of the annoying noises you might get from the floor corrridor.

Excellent Service - Good Value”
Sonnet Saigon is located around 15 minutes walk from Ben Thanh market. I booked this hotel due to good reviews I read from various booking websites and I was not disappointed. If you're a non-smoker, make sure to make a request for a non-smoking floor. I didn't mention this in my booking and we had to move due to the strong scent in the room, especially the corridor. Very happy that the reception helped us quickly move the next morning. Since we were moving to a different hotel in Mekong Delta, we requested to leave some of our luggage. They were happy to oblige and we picked up our luggage a day after we checked out. Will definitely consider this hotel again when we come back. Pros - excellent Service, good value for money, good location, nice breakfast Cons - room service is only until 9pm (doesn't comply with the hotel info), buffet breakfast repeats a number of items

Spoilt By Traffic and Construction Noise”
Good little hotel , clean room , great breakfast buffet and staff helpful . Exchange rate better than the airport rip off . Unfortunately you have to be ready to accept the inherent traffic noise that is Ho Chi Minh City

Hotel in District 3 but so close it could pass for District 1”
This hotel is in District 3 very near to the War Remnants Museum, making it very close to District 1. It's location allows one to see a less hectic side of HCMC, while still feeling a part of it all. The room was clean, but the bathroom was quite small. The breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and will happily stay there nect time I am in HCMC.

Good Value”
This hotel beats most 3-3.5 Star hotels around the area with its very competitive room rates. The rooms were clean and comfortable except for a few issues with the bathroom (eg. low water pressure). The staff were friendly and helpful too. On the down side, I find their breakfast buffet to be a little boring and their cut fruits don't look fresh and appetizing. The hotel wifi signal is strong but the bandwidth is so low it is worse than mobile data. Overall, I'm still satisfied with my stay with Sonnet and I will return if I'm looking for a budget hotel.

The location of this hotel is great, in district 3 but a very walkable distance to district 1, where many sights, attractions, restaurants and malls/markets are. Great shower, staff very helpful, breakfast pretty good, you can get all the standard things you would find at a hotel. ..toast, muesli, eggs, salad, soup, fruit, coffee, meats, fried rice, it goes on. Overall, good value for money!
