Supervisors - Khier & Galls 'For demonstrating professionalism to our concerns' This resort is undergoing renovation but it didnt stop us from enjoying our stay. It's our first visit to Cebu, and have chosen this place for pure relaxation. We couldn't have chosen any other resort other than Solea Mactan Resort as they offer a widespread of breakfast buffet food, modern & amazing sea view room, number of pools for different ages, fun water activities, excellent massage therapy and much much more!! Room for improvement: Rooftop bar - staff needs to be a bit more attentive of their surroundings and the customers line of sight. Housekeeping cross check - for completeness of the room, from cleanliness of linens all the way to toiletry supplies. Overall we truly enjoyed it here and already plan on returning in December.

One of the best resorts in Cebu”
It was my first time at Solea Mactan and although the waterpark and the lagoon were not functioning when I went there recently with my friend on November 26,2020, I still can say, this is one of my favorite resorts in Cebu. The place is well maintained, have a lot of pools that you can enjoy. If you are a sports enthusiast, you certainly can enjoy the obstacle courses. Best of all, if you are a beach person like me, you will definitely love their beach there, their beach floor is sandy. I will be back with my family, for sure. Roland of arveesblog dot com

Great Stay”
We had a great stay at Solea Mactan Resort. Upgraded us to the Sea View Room and allowed early check in at 11am. Went around the swimming pools (around 5) and the beach area was nice. Lots of photo perfect places. Buffet breakfast very good. Great for families with small children.

I would like to thank Mr. Troy,their duty manager for being awesome and accommodating.The food is great,though for breakfast buffet they offer few varieties but still good.Overall our stay is amazing and definitely would come back.

Solea Mactan resort have lots of pool to enjoy. Even my young kids can swim and play. They have different facilities... from pool to playroom to gym and restaurants and bar. Food is great. They offer Asian cuisine. Staff is very friendly.

Good ... amazing Night vida but still undercontruction”
Pros: -They offer a taxi service that can pick you and leave you in the airport . -The hotel is beautiful -Beautiful pools -Friendly staff -Crean rooms -They accept credit and débit card -the breakfast is awesome to many options Cons -The hotel have some parts undercontruction So its a little bit noisy sometimes - the solea sign is not in a good place .... -some parts are not like the Pictures... the lagoon is not working - the Walls are too thin so you can listen everything - in my room the air fan doesnt work

7 adults, 2 children 9 people reserved 3 rooms. I mentioned in advance that it is a trip to commemorate my father's 70th birthday at the time of reservation of Solea resort. Solea resort kindly helped me upgrade my room. Breakfast was well suited to the taste of Koreans, and various foods came out well so adults and children also ate very well. The breakfast buffet I saw a review that the kimchi of food during our stay is not ahswiwot kimchi for breakfast food, but eat a lot deoraguyo not matter. The staff give a smile every time I met the eye, as well actively helped when I needed help.

Nice hotel, views and huge Swimming pools Near seaside Breakfast ok but no dessert few selections of fruits i saw pineapple and watermelon but main course quiet a lot Don't have there own shuttle service yet but staff very accomodating to assist you for taxi and they make sure that taxi driver charge you thru meter no fix rate in cebu. If you want to save money k mart mini grocery is only 5mins away before solea entrance also beside k mart there's a lot of few mini stores which you can buy some snacks, remember hotel food per serving is like $$$ around 180 - 500 pesos per order Make sure when you visit this hotel drop by some grocery shops for your snacks or fruits for longer staying and for those who wants to save money buy some food before you stay in that hotel mostly especially if you like beers, wine or liquor. (+) Very Kid Friendly Resort Ocean View room is Superb Lots of entertainment and activites There are 2 Restaurants in the resort Very Maintained White Beach Aqua Play Pool and Aqua Park are a hit for kids Spacious Room Very Welcoming and Friendly Staff (-) - Elevator is a bit dark and the elevator's floor is usually wet & slippery due to guests who just came out from swimming and did not dry themselves properly - Location is a bit far from Cebu's attractions. Just Amazing!!”
This hotel deserve five star rating! The pools are amazing and big. They have water activities, private beach, beach side bar, rooftop bar, cue club, children's playground, helipad you name it. They even sent a nurse once I felt a bit sick and gave me medicine. One great thing about them is the food and verities. We had buffet dinner and we could not finish counting how many kind of foods and dessert they offering. INSANE!! And surprisingly the price you paying is cheaper than you would pay outside with a fraction food. I paid 1200 Piso for two of us (buy one get one free) and I though the price is nothing for the verity of foods they are offering. The staffs are very friendly but one of them must me mentioned specially; William. He gave us a guided tour around the hotel and their beach with his golf cart ride and took our pictures. He was very friendly, funny and helpful. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this resort. I got lot more than I was expected.

Solea Palms not child and elderly friendly ”
I've seen some good changes with Solea like the beach, the game room, bicycles and more. But one thing I hated when we checked in was when we were told we were going to be in Solea palms. Prior to this, I made sure to email reservation staff to not let us go there as I've read about how bad the entrance and she clearly told me that we will be in Solea main. But to my disappointed , the front desk told me that most of the guests were upgraded in the seaview in Solea palms. I told her we got a premier sea view in Solea main hotel so how can this be an upgrade? So I insisted and she said we can stay in the main hotel but the water piping is broken. So no choice but to stay in the palm. it was a bit packed and the entrance was really upsetting as my elderly mother cracked her thigh bone when she stepped on the entrance stairs and we had to get her a wheel chair as she was in pain. The ramp connecting to main hotel from the palm clearly is not of quality standard.

Great place for a getaway, but not for travelling into town”
The place was amazing, a true resort with high standards and cleanliness. The location was the only downside as we spent quite a fair bit of time and money travelling to and fro the city centre in cebu. It is definitely a perfect place for a weekend getaway. The beach was under renovation while I was there but the views were great.

Great family holiday”
When we arrive in Solea, the staff was very helpful. We went as a family (4 adults and a toddler) and booked the Suite room. I would say the beginning of our stay was not very pleasant because of some misunderstanding with the room but we'e very grateful that Solea management sorted it out and attended to our needs. Overall, we had a good 5 night stay. Location wise, there isn't any nearby shops that you can go to apart from a Korean shop and restaurant outside the resort. They have a nice children soft play area but their pricing/rate was confusing (It changes depending on the staff). The food was great, staff was very helpful (a bit of language barrier issues though) but otherwise they're all nice. The room, I think needs a bit of updating and our aircon started leaking at some point during our stay. The cleaning staff made sure our room is clean and tidy. Special thanks to the management team, the staff especially to Mario and Maria for looking after us

Superb!”
Very fast check-in process. Rooms were big and clean, complete with toiletries, etc. Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful, both to the foreigners and locals like us. Earth resto staff and chefs were also wonderful and friendly, gave my dad a complimentary cake and greeting for his 60th birthday. Food was good both dinner buffet and breakfast. Our kids had so much fun at the Aqua play pool. Everything was superb! Thank you, Solea! We will surely come back!
