Exceptional and 100% Satisfied”

From the room,bed,facilities,staffs,food,interior,and ambience I would say among the best hotel we stayed.All are fabulous! With the complimentary chocolate cake and romantic sweet deco in our room that makes my 33rd Birthday Celebration with my husband great.Adding happiness when I saw my name on the screen.I really appreciate it! At night,we celebrate our happiness at Nizza Cafe/Bar.Please Credit to all staffs involved on 26/4/2018 night as they provided the best service and food of course! (TQ for the complimentary birthday cake and song as well). The view at the pool area was fantastic that made us took hundreds of photo there. The calm and relaxing moments which we found good in middle of town. We would definitely come back if there is any chance. Thank you Sofitel Damansara for making my birthday awesome!

Excellent”

It's a nice hotel. The staff is friendly. The room we had was clean and the bed was huge and comfortable. The bathroom and Lavin toiletries were perfect. Going to and from downtown with Grab taxi is easy....about 20 mins. Alternatively, the MRT station "Pusat Bandar Damansara" is 10 minutes walk away . Cost Rm2.80 per ticket token to Bukit Bintang.....takes about 25 mins. Breakfast at Rm80 per person may be too expensive for the locals....but the spread is good. The staff were courteous too. The buffet dinner price is like any hotel in Singapore. Was ok for us..... The downside are the restaurants nearby....often they do not have many customers and look deserted. Their food and beverage prices are not cheap either! If time permits it is better to go downtown for food and shopping. A Supermarket at the basement is a big PLUS..... Its good if you just want a quiet, peaceful rest in Sofitel KL.

Very good facilities and beyond my expectation ”

Sofitel located within walking distant to subway station pusat Bandar damansara within 15mins distant from hotel to MRT station, you may walk tru the shopping mall named DC Mall ( pretty okay with Watsons's, BIG grocery, restaurants, cafes) all the way to subway station. the facities at Sofitel Hotel ( swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Gym) what you need all under one roof. tumb up for the best job of this hotel ^^

Beautiful room and great facilities”

This is our 2nd stay at Sofitel Damansara - the room is very spacious and it is connected to a shopping mall with ample of food options, so you will never be hungry. There is also a BIG supermarket at the basement if you forgot anything. The downside (which can be an upside for some people) is the location of the hotel. The hotel is located in the posh area of Damansara Heights, but isn't well-connected to public transportation of the city, but nothing that a Grab ride can't easily solve for you. Besides that, the staff and facilities were excellent!

I stayed here for four very relaxing and carefree weeks. Before I decided to stay in the Sofitel Damansara Hotel I checked their daily room rates for weeks until I found a great daily room rate to stay in a luxury room with complimentary daily buffet breakfasts. You couldn’t wish for a more comfortable and relaxed style of hotel of this standard. ALL employees only offered excellent customer service toward guests and visitors to the hotel. I look forward to my next stay..

Stay-cation over the Chinese New Year’19 weekend”

Planned for a quiet stay and Sofitel Damansara provided not only that but enhanced and afforded a memorable “Guest of the Day” experience as well. Merci bien - for the attentive and warm hospitality at Club Millesime where an array of exciting food and beverages is available throughout afternoon tea, evening cocktail reception and breakfast. The upgraded Junior Suite was very comfortable, thoughtfully designed with a nice working study desk and located at a corner unit coupled with generous views towards Jalan Beringin of Damansara. The washroom fitted with a large bath tub and extended vanity granite top was luxurious and so was the walk-through wardrobe located across the bathroom. I really liked the Lanvin collection of hair and body care. Definitely shall return soon to be pampered, re-live and experience the Sofitel’s hospitality in the near future. Keep up the good work ya. Au revoir ...

I LOVE Sofitel. I didn't have a great experience on the earlier day as my flight was delayed and in addition with the KL afternoon traffic, I thought this is going to be a bad day. When I arrived the hotel, I was greeted by one of the staff at the door and he directed me to the reception. The receptionist was very nice and guess what, they told me I was their "guest of the day"; hence upgraded my room and privileges. I got complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails at the club floor. I totally didn't expect this and Sofitel mentioned this is one thing unique about them which is to surprise guests with upgrades. I am so thankful for Sofitel to select me to enjoy this surprise. Overall excellent stay!

Wasnt sure if it was a good idea to have a one night stay here since there's more other hotel however for those who appreciate french style, cleanliness and quality service than this would be the place. Located across Damansara City Mall (walking distance) you can even go down the mall to have meals and beers. Also BENs grocer located UG of Damansara City Mall. Happy staying here.

Magnificent staycation ”

The hotel design’s both practical and gorgeous. Huge fan of the washroom with Lanvin toiletries, and beautiful bathtub. The bed, super comfy and huge. Love the Nespresso coffee and TWG teas in the room. Really recommend their club lounge on the 22nd floor. Especially loved its decor, attentive and friendly service, delicious and visually pleasing food(for a la crate breakfast, I recommend “minute steak and egg”on the menu, the steak was cooked to perfection ) and drinks(their signature cocktail called “the Link” was deliciously refreshing ). I also enjoyed using the 24 hour gym, the sauna room with beautiful light maple colored wood and steam room with luxurious marble. Due to the rain, couldn’t enjoy their pool, but looked nice. One of their restaurants called Kwee Zeen has “build your own salad” on the menu, and I had it with smoked duck breast and Cajun chicken, so good. Overall, I loved Sofitel, the staff always saying bonjour. Was truly staycation magnifique.

Questionable service, but excellent room & facilities”

Had a great start to my short stay on Sun 3 Jan. Check-in process was quick & smooth (except for one female staff nearby who was unmasked when speaking to me, which made me uncomfortable), facilities were in great condition and the room was well-lit & well-designed. No issues there at all and things were neat and clean. When we got back to the hotel one night, it was late and so I requested for 6 bottles of water as I'd received 4 additional bottles of water the night before. I was told by a staff member that 2 at a time was the max that could be provided, which was very odd and clashing with what I had experienced the previous night. I communicated this to the staff, whose only response was 'Oh, ok then.' We would have been fine with only 2 at a time if this was communicated at any point. This is also a really odd policy because we may not want to repeatedly call housekeeping each time we finish a 500ml bottle. In addition, I am thirty this year and have travelled to different countries and also stayed in Sofitel BKK; this is the first time I've heard of such an inane policy limiting a guest to only 2 bottles. If you do insist to enforce this in future, best you include the info on your Agoda page so people have a heads up to not book rooms for this particular branch if they wish to request for additional water bottles. That was a minor blip during my stay, but the most unacceptable to me was during my checkout today Wed 6 Jan AM when I was attended by a staff who only had his mask half-on, below his nose. I requested he pull it back up; my friend and I were appropriately masked. He was reluctant, citing "my glasses would get misty" i.e. his glasses would fog up upon pulling it up. My friend with me, the other guest, was also bespectacled, and yet she had her mask on properly. I insisted, and he did so... only to not pull it up again when it fell down past his nose. I had politely interrupted his previous question of 'when will you be coming back to stay with us?

Have to pay for parking fees. Accessibility from the main road is quite tricky. Nice architecture for a business hotel. I was lucky I was given a view of Bukit Damansara. Other rooms may face another tall building.

Amazing value for money”

Sofitel offers luxury beyond what I imagined for the price I paid. The rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable and it doesn't feel as lived in as many other hotels in the area. The only warning is that the attached mall is kind of dead - only ONE restaurant was open the whole weekend. (I've never seen a closed Family Mart!) But that isn't much of an issue because the hotel itself has a fair share of dining options and there are plenty of restaurants in short driving distance.

A great hotel that needs some fine tunes”

It is a great hotel. There are few awards saying that this hotel has the best lobby. I do not know what are the evaluation criteria are but there are some pillars in the lobby, which I do not know why the hotel gets the awards. Anyway, few things to improve are the cleanliness and infrastructure. Cleanliness, the windows are not very clean. It is being cleaned but stains of cleaning wipes were seen and the top of wardrobe were having dust. Infrastructure wise, the safe box's batteries were dead and not replaced (informed but less follow up), sauna facility is small and not hot and lobby is a bit crowded. The pick-up and drop-off point/ entrance is crowded during peak hours, lack of parking area nearby. These need to be improved. Overall it is quite a good hotel but location wise is a bit isolated (near Damansara City Mall) to everywhere nearby. As a business traveler, I think it fits the purpose.

Business oriented hotel, with children concession”

Staff. The staff at the breakfast buffet were impeccible, they were the nicest people in any hotel I've met. Accomodating and sincerely warm. The staff around the rest of the hotel were a little bit unapproachable, Location is in Damansara City, great for business travellers who have appointments around that area but not ideal for holiday travellers who would need to take transport into the city centre. As a holiday traveller I wouldn't stay in this area again. Cleanliness. Rooms were clean but the carpets in the room were an awful colour and design that looks like it was chosen so it would hide any marks/dirt. The design of the carpet looked a but dirty, even though it wasn't. There was fumigation during out stay, there were 4 dead roaches in the hallway that fell from the ceiling. We saw loads of young families in the hotel, a childs/toddlers playroom would have been a nice feature.

Location”

Location is strategic given that I was looking to stay around the Damansara area, however given it being a new property not many are aware of its location, especially where the Lobby Entrance is situated so it's difficult to call a cab/Uber/Grab. My recommendation is for the hotel to partner up with Uber & Grab to make it easier for drivers to locate the hotel.

Staff reception & housekeeping”

I’m not very happy with the engagement between hotel staff where by not friendly. Kindly please notify your guest with well communicate ie, reminder or notice if anything wrong doing by guest. Perhaps this will be my last stay at Sofitel Damansara. For sure not recommended. I’m quite dissappointed, staying for 4 nights but unfortunately poor service that I get during my stay. Kindly improve on your staff communication skill for the bright future.

New Hotel”

it's a new hotel in damansara area, the breakfast is ok but for a 5 star hotel I think the choices of food can be more,stayed for 2 nights and the breakfast is nearly same for the 2 days . The room is clean and big. only 1 thing to complaint, if you are driving there please prepare yourself for the expensive parking rate cause the hotel is sharing the packing with dc mall (easily up to rm30 per day) sofitel damansara management, please do something with this.

A good hotel but with poor service”

Pros : new hotel, comfy bed, clean and spacious room, very good location with nearby supermarket. Cons : Front Desk staffs were incompetent and has very poor customer service. When I arrived at the hotel at 2.45pm, the staff told me that my room is not ready and told me to wait for 1 hour. When I asked why, the staff told me that other guest checked out late and also said that I can checked out late as well but at my own risk. Sofitel management, you guys really need it fixed seriously.
