Best place to stay at in Cameron Highlands”

My friend and I stayed at the Timon triple room in Snooze Hotel for a night and we were so sad that we had to leave too soon! I won't bother to look for other hotels/bed and breakfast and will definitely stay here when I go back to Cameron. Our room is very cozy, clean and spacious. It's like being home but better! The private comfort room is very clean and spacious as well. It's helpful that you can use their eating utensils, clothes iron and you can even do laundry. The location is perfect as it is right in front if the taxi station/Brinchang bus stop. We just booked our bus through the reception and just waited at the bus stop in front. What a breeze! You can also book your tours at the reception either via a group tour or private taxi tour (standard rate is RM25 per hour). There is also a row of steamboat restaurants at the back of the hotel (we love Cameron Organic Produce Restaurant). The Brinchang night market is also just a 2minute walk away. Thank you Snooze Hotel for the great stay! We enjoyed Cameron Highlands so much! :)

Comfortable and Convenient Home Away From Home”

arrived early morning at about 9.00 am at brinchang and they allowed early hassle-free check-in, appreciated with thanks!!! you can approached the young counter staff in the mini mart next door(chop joo seng)should no one opens the main door. climbing the staircase with 39 steps leading up to the room was quite a challenge for me (> 55 yrs young) but it was very soon greeted with home-like clean rooms and common areas....wow! room was facing the mountains and a hotel at the back. it was simple, filled with fresh air and spacious for me, with a queen bed to myself. the bathroom was adequate, just bring along your personal stuff. only a 2-in one soap solution is provided. the shower pressure was super powerful and just need a little while to get it hot! only bad was those restaurant workers below would cleaned their utensils, cleared rubbish and conversed loudly in the middle of the night, but it usually only lasted for a while. it was soon forgotten during my 2nd and 3rd night, the natural air-con and the comfortable bed makes one snooze almost immediately! nice steamboat dinner and friendly staffs at restaurant below hotel. just about 5 mins walk to hotel titiwangsa, their steamboat was one up - prawns, fish, fishballs, chicken, and the eat all you can fresh crunchy vegetables! it's very conveniently located in the heart of brinchang and there were day tours to sign up, strongly encourage if not driving. there were much more sceneries, markets, bee farms, tea plantations, mossy forest...etc, etc to explore in cameron highlands! this hotel is just like a home away from home...will be back!!! ... and thank you miss chew, your attention to my needs throughout my hotel will not be forgotten... keep your smile and spirited service high!!!!

Super Nice Hotel in Cameron”

Snooze Hotel is the best hotel that I ever stay in Cameron Highlands. I had went to cameron highlands for 5 times and this is the best and cheaper hotel that I stayed. The hotel location is at Brinchang, just a few walks from KFC, security is good (need assess card to enter hotel), just it dont have lift and a bit difficult for elder people. However, once u step in, the design and cleanliness will attract u. Room is big and clean, bathroom is big too. Every floor there is a common area for u to watch TV, online, and have brand new water dispenser for you. From the hotel step out, restaurant is available anywhere, night market is nearby. Highly recommended if u go cameron highlands!!

Best budget hotel ”

It was totally great to be able to stay at Snooze Hotel during our trip to Cameron Highlands. The hotel concept is totally outstanding, made us feel like home. Located in the town of Brinchang, various restaurants serving steamboats and a convenient store just below are added advantages. Right across the road is the taxi stand where you can rent taxi for at least minimum 3 hours to go around the tourist attractions in Cameron (RM25 per hour). Overall, recommended hotel if you are to go to Cameron Highlands.

very pleasant”

I would highly recommend this hostel. It is just in the centre of the Brinchang Town in cameron highland, got a few nice restaurants just downstairs. The room is big, clean and cosy, plus the very good public areas with water dispenser, washing machine and a proper pantry. I really liked it. I stayed in Snooze for 1 night and another night at the Twin Pine Charlets which is recommended by the Lonely Planet so I can compare both. I have to say Snooze beat Twin Pine hard, especially in terms of comfort and cleanness. Snooze can also help out in arranging local tours (you would need a car to go around the highland).

Good. Centrally located in Brinchang town”

I have travelled with family and little child. It is located centrally in city of Brinchang. All the good restaurants in the town are nearby. The room is neat and clean. The hotel staffs are really helpful, guided me on the places to visit. I have requested to me to keep my baggage after checked out, as we decided to take Nature tour in Cameron Highland next day and they have fulfilled my request, which is of great help. However, the hotel is near to town main road hence it is little noisy, so advice other travellers not to take room facing the road. Hotel rooms don’t have air-con, which is not required as the weather is cold outside. Overall this is a very good budget hotel for staying with family. We have enjoyed the stay here in Snooze.

Wonderful Hotel to stay in Cameron Highlands”

The stay at Snooze Hotel was awesome.. at the price you are paying.. it is definitely value for money. The beds and pillows are great. No bed bugs, no stains.. you have a private toilet all to yourself, (hot shower too for those who don't embrace the cold water). No molds whatsoever. Tv was ok, if you plan to stay in the room..but hey it's cameron highlands..get out of your room and explore! The hotel is close to food places, great for chinese steamboat and it's convenient to travel up to the Sungei Palas Boh Tea Plantation. It's also near to the Rajuu strawberry park and there is a huge night market nearby the hotel during the weekends. Great place! and oh.. access to the individual rooms are by keys..although guests are required to scan a card before entry into the hotel.

comfortable hotel @ an affordable value”

by the time we reached brinchang and found where snooze hotel is i am kinda apprehensive coz it is not the usual hotel were you'll be greeted by its lobby and staff, instead you need to climb up the stairs onto the 2nd floor. however, upon reaching the 2nd floor, a welcoming staff has greeted us and pointed us to our room (3rd floor). the hotel is pretty new/newly renovated, per the manager they've opened the hotel only last august 2012. we stayed here for 2 nights and we had a lovely stay. the room is clean and there is a water heater! i don't expect much from a budget hotel but this hotel surpass my expectation. they even have a free tea, water from the hot and cold dispenser. you can even use their public living and dining room which is available for each floor. i actually saw another living and dining room within the 3rd floor so that makes it 2 in a floor. the staff and manager are also very friendly and accommodating. i requested for an additional pillows and they've provided immediately. this hotel is very close to the restaurants and about 10-15mins away to most of the tourist spots i.e. bee farm, strawberry farm, time tunnel. it is also a good 5mins walk to the night market. the only downside though is they don't have a parking area for their clients. the area is kinda busy during the day thus it is hard to find a parking space. my tip though is there is a paid parking in the night market area until 11pm... just get your car before the said time, by then you can find a parking space or two infront or at the back of snooze.

Comfortable, Nice ID, Convenient, Security”

Very positive experience. Stayed at highest floor facing back with windows so almost no noise except garbage truck on some nights picking up trash which can emit odor slightly if windows are open. Hot shower is centralised so is reliable and you have to find your perfect sweet spot between 2 extremes of hot and cold. Shower head has 3 settings which is nice. Room, and the whole hotel is interior designed with family in mind so is cozy. Common area provides free water and hot water for hot drinks or to cook instant noodles in cup. Tv has about 5 to 7 working channels with 2 local channels and other cable including sports and international news. Wifi is decent and superfast sometimes. Sound can be slightly heard from common area if people are noisy but in 2 nights, didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. Security seems excellent with keycard access and cctvs in pivotal areas. Nothing missing from housekeeping activities either. Room only has a desk fan which is enough for circulation as I prefer the cool natural breeze by opening the windows. Hotel owned convenient store on ground level with reasonable and cheap prices, some even cheaper than in KL. Variety of local food options in surrounding area, from malay, indian, chinese to even thai food. Delicious cheap local food at the food court next to the Central Market which sells local goods and souvenirs, located across the road. Parking is easy on weekdays but I didn't get to experience the night market. A strawberry farm is closeby. To walk probably takes about 30 mins so a car is recommended as its uphill and takes 4 mins. A petrol station is nearby, as well as police station and fire station. No entertainment at night so just hang around restaurants. Brinchang town is closest to Boh Tea Plantation Deck which is a must visit about 18km away. Also close to Kea Market / Farm which offers cheapest strawberries in Cameron Highlands Highly recommended budget hotel

Best Budget Hotel in Cameron Highlands”

This is our second time staying at Snooze Hotel. Absolutely pleased with the hotel. It is everything you can ask for in a budget hotel. We checked into the 3 person bedroom and it was huge, perfect for us with a toddler. We also love the water dispenser provided in the common area. The hotel is in Brinchang town, a walk away from eateries and a 5 minute drive to many attractions in Cameron Highlands. We will definitely come back here for a 3rd time!

Great hotel with clean room and friendly staff”

We are four adults to visit Cameron Highland. Based on reviews on agoda from others, we decided to book Snooze Hotel for our trip. We very satisfy with the hotel, clean room, public area for reading also very clean. Hotel wifi consider fast, this hotel let us have warm home feeling. Room is simple but comfort. Hotel staff very friendly, we arrived Cameron around 10am, was surprising that they allow to let us check in first (officially check in is 2pm).... We started our journey in the midnight, so this make us feel thankful to them as we need to have short snap. The problem for the hotel is it doesn't have lift and parking space too limited. Anyways, we will back to this hotel again, it is very worth and nice hotel.

Excellent - totally above our expectation”

We loved Snooze Hotel very much. It is just a few shops away from KFC. Very good location if you don't have to drive much. Parking will be an issue if you drive. Cleanliness is top notch, and no shoes is allowed in the hotel premise. Our small children just love to run around in the lounge, since it is so clean without shoes. Toilet is clean. Sheets on bed is clean and unique. My wife and children were fully satisfied and will definitely stay again if we go to Cameron Highlands again. The only complain we would have (other than hard to find parking on weekends, due to the night market) is the noise from outside. Car honks, restaurant opens till late, etc ... we have to keep our window close and switch on the fan to have a quiet & peaceful night.

Best, cosiest place we could have hoped for ”

We'd been travelling awhile and we were tired. We couldn't have been happier when we saw our cosy room, the perfect base from which to explore the Cameron Highlands. The room was super clean, the shower was awesome, the bed comfy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a laundry machine and common areas. We accidentally went to Snooze Too first, the second Snooze hostel just up the road from where we ended up staying. It looked very hip and had breakfast options. Our Snooze was right among the main cluster of restaurants. We highly recommend Snooze.

Clean and Good Location”

This hotel room is tidy and most importantly CLEAN. It is located above a shop called Chop Joo Seng. So we have to climb up the staircase next to the shop in order to access the hotel. When we arrived, we noticed that the hotel glass door is locked. There is a lady came to us and bring us to Chop Joo Seng as the hotel reception counter is inside the shop. The receptionist is quite friendly. She briefs us the facilities of the hotel. Drinking water is sharing with other guests outside the room. Once step in the hotel, the shoes have to be taking off. You can either put at the shoe rack prepared outside the room or bring inside the room. In 2nd level, there are 3 rooms sharing a common area which is the place you can get drinking water either cool or hot. The freeze is sharing by guests stay in 3 rooms too.   Inside the room, the toilet and bathroom is combined. The receptionist told us to let the water flows about 2 minutes to get the hot water for shower. But, we noticed that the water turns hot less than 1 minute. There is TV inside the room. So you can just relax with by watching TV while waiting your partner taking shower. The hotel location is good because surrounding has restaurants and shop lots within walking distance. If you are driving a car, about 3 minutes can reach an attraction called “Big Red Strawberry”. But as other reviews mentioned, it is a bit hard to find parking lot. In case you are thinking to having dinner nearby hotel, we strongly suggest you to GO AWAY from the one called Restoran Makanan Laut Cameron Highlands which near the hotel. BAD SERVICE + TASTELESS FOOD + SUPER EXPENSIVE !!!

Cozy!! ^.^”

The first impression it gave me is, lovely! Being warmly welcomed by amiable staff and homey environment, it made our day on the first day of our first ever trip to Cameron Highlands. Cleanliness, lovely designs, comfortable room and homey feel make it worth the pay. The only drawback would be the noisy surrounding of the hotel in the early morning and at night as it is centrally located. Snooze Hotel, highly recommended! =D

Boring as hell”

The Snooze hotel is a well run budget hotel which is good value for money. The standard of cleanliness is exceptional in a country where many hotels are a picture of neglect and cleanliness is not given a high level od consideration. Cameron Highlands visits are a complete waste of time..the place has absolutely nothing to offer unless you want to risk your life trekking in dangerous conditions with very little reward at the end of it.

Perfect location & wonderful staff”

We loved it at Snooze! What a gem! The young woman that helped us went above & beyond and was so very helpful (I am sure I misspelling it[sorry!!] but her name was Chew). So great! We extended our stay beyond what we booked at Agoda (loved the Cameron Highlands so much we didn't want to leave!) and that was made very simple for us. The restaurants downstairs are all fantastic & there is a big convenience store downstairs. If you stay here, you HAVE TO DO ME A FAVOR! There is a dog that lives in the neighborhood; he's beige with a scar on his right shoulder and a little rowdy, but he is a total sweetheart. Say hi to him and maybe buy him a snack? : )

Clean, Ideal Loacation”

The room is clean, and it’s like home when we stay here. This is the second time staying at Snooze Hotel at Cameron Highlands with my family. The location is also ideal, very near to the night market, and you can have a nice breakfast at downstairs... There are mini market and a lot of restaurants nearby with walking distance.

Great hotel when you visit Cameron Highlands”

We had a great stay in the Snooze Hotel. Location is very good if you stay for two nights to see the Cameron Highlands. Check-in was fast, done by very nice and helpfull staff. There is no breakfast served but there is a small kitchen available to make your own. Supermarket and other shops are across the street. Rooms are spacious, clean and cosy. Very fast WIFI, which is great if you have been travelling for a long time!
