Smoke-free hotels in 11th - Bastille - Republique

"This is excellent value for Paris. Rooms while not spacious (but bigger than a lot in Paris) are well fitted and beds very comfortable. Loved kettle in room and 24 hour free hot drinks in the lobby. The hotel is near the Republique metro so easy access to other parts of Paris but it is a less touristic neighbourhood and as a result there are some fabulous restaurants nearby offering the best of french food at a much more competitive price as the bulk of their clientele are local. Highly recommend Picotte opposite and Chez Imogene for crepes round the corner (lunch menu with drinks and gallette and desert crepe only 11 euros). "

"My stay at Hotel Marais Bastille was nearly perfect. This hotel has a modern and somewhat minimal aesthetic that I enjoy. The location is excellent, situated on the edge of Le Marais and near at least four different subway lines that will take you anywhere in the city. The staff were always friendly and provided great service. I also appreciated the email from the hotel about a week before my stay, which asked me to fill out a short questionnaire of my preferences and requests. I requested and was given a double room just like the photos, with a small terrace overlooking the boulevard. I arrived early, thanks to a morning flight, but I was allowed to check in around 2:15pm when my room was ready. The room was larger than most Paris hotel rooms at this price, and it was cleaned very well every day of my stay. The bed was too firm for my taste, but I know everyone has different preferences on that. I appreciated the mini-fridge that was empty so I could fill it with my own food and drink"

"it is very close from parmentier metro station,which is about 10 minutes with metro from central paris and it is about five minutes walk from famous place de la republique, the receptionist are very professional and welcoming , you can ask any questions such as local sites or places in paris and they will answer you with smile, the room is confortable with tv , wifi, shower and hair dryer and delicious breakfast"

"The best thing is the location. It’s very near to 2 metro stations. There are nearby convenient stores too. It felt safe and they actually lock the main door at night so only hotel guests can access. The pods in the hostel is neat and everyone has their sense of “privacy” with the curtains and lights in each cabin. The shared bathrooms are regularly cleaned. "

"The hotel was lovely and clean with comfortable beds and a good value for money breakfast buffet (my 12-year old son ate for half price which was very generous!). The rooms are small but who comes to Paris to spend time in a hotel room? We liked that the neighbourhood was a bit out of the way so we could find nice non touristy restaurants on an evening. It is also on the metro line that goes to the Eurostar train station so was very convenient for that and also for getting to a Batobus stop!"

"Traffic is convenient for walking 5 minutes from Republique station , 5 subway lines pass by and there is a square, 3 minutes from Oberkampf station. And if you jog on morning or take a walk along the Canal Saint Martin next to the hotel, you can see the perfect view and feel refreshed. The bathroom is clean and spacious, and the room cleaning service was satisfactory, too. The room is not big and the shower door should be used inside closed, but it should be noted that this applies to rooms in all Paris. The front desk, they tried their best to help me and were very kind, even though i had to bothered them with many things after check-out. I don't know if other hotels do either, but you should know that there are no refrigerators and a such bright bulb."

"very low cost and very close to republique. rooms vere warm ( out temp -10),clean and had even bathtub. helpful staff so for me it was defenately worth of money. but have to remember that with this price you do not get exclusive. nice bistro and breakfast places close by. i shall visit them again. "there are many metro lines pass the station(republique) near hotel and the metro station is about 20 meters from the hotel. however, place to eat around the hotel is quiet expensive. most of them are restaurants. "

"Staffs are very welcoming and helpful, rooms are small but clean with some tasteful decorations. It's not closest to the most convenient metro but withing 15 mins walk to Bastille or republic. Will stay here again next time "
