While it isn't centrally located, it is just a short walk from all the attractions in Surin town. Located just opposite the Surin hospital, you can easily hike a tuktuk to get anywhere if you're not a fan of walking. The hotel houses Big Cheese which serves both local and western cuisines at very affordable rates. The staff is extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel also has a well equipped gym, meeting room, spa and a little green sitting area on the terrace. At first I regretted not booking another hotel near the bus terminal, but after the first night I am certain Slive is definitely the better choice and probably the best option for your stay in Surin. "

"Very Good - stayed at the Thongtarin hotel a number of years ago and was happy with stay obviously or I would not of booked again. But I'm very glad to say that under new ownership the rooms have undergone a very nice overhaul. Hotel location in Surin is perfect, Try the Red Star Club less than 100m from hotel for an good night out and some great entertainment. "

"The hotel itself is great, the pool is cool, inviting and scrupulously clean (as is the whole hotel). The location is far enough from any noise that the area is completely quiet at night but a short walk to town for all that Surin has to offer, you are better with transport though and ample parking is available with 24 hour security. But the best part of the hotel without a question of a doubt is the staff, they are brilliant, no request was too small, or too big they handled all our needs perfectly. If you come to Surin and don't stay here the loss is yours. "

"we had an excellent 3 days at the hotel the staff were really welcoming and friendly daily cold water and towels quiet area although slightly outside of town, we had bikes so it was easy to cycle into town. There are restaurants within walking distance would definitely stay here again"

"I was there on Saturday night around 9pm and I’ve booked for 2adults as emergency booking but I have one 10 yrs old with me it’s very kind of them it charged us only 100 bath and also brought the blanket and pillow and price was including breakfast too so lovely. For the room is big, clean, huge bathroom and secure. Staffs are very lovely, friendly and professional. Value for money I would high recommended for you "
