Originally our booking should be from July 17 to 22 however due to weather conditions, our flight was rescheduled to July 19 to 24, good thing they move also our booking for accomodation. Our room was perfect, they've upgraded us from 2 twin beds to 1 twin bed and a queen size bed. However, the rest room stinks it does not have an exaust fan. So kahit nagspray sila and naglagay ng albatros still nangangamoy padin. Yun lababo din it does not work. And yun part ng bath room sana may division kasi naabot yun water hanggang sa door kahit nakasara yun curtain. Since it was a 6d5n booking pinalitan naman nila yun bedsheet namin on our 3rd or 4th day. Perfect din yun view kasi mountains and sea yun view from the window. The pool was good. Sana mas maimprove pa nila like iextend para lumaki. Perfect dn ang view deck nila because of the mountains and sea view. We've stayed most of time there specially breakfast and dinner. They could have added some lights sana para at night and utensils.thanks

Great place for Coron”

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. There is a great rooftop area and a swimming which is perfect to get out of the chaos of Coron and it’s good to have a place to relax in the day as Coron doesn’t just have a beach to spend the day at

Between budget and normal priced”

Friendly and accommodating staff, check in and out was fast and easy. TV picture was fuzzy but I attribute that to Coron island. Wifi worked but was very slow most of the time. Probably because of the island not the hotel. The worst part about the room was the AC was very loud and in need of maintenance. If some things were fixed up around the hotel it would be 5 stars all around.

Great Hotel - Awesome few days! Would Recommend”

The hotel was clean, had good air con, a nice swimming pool and a great rooftop area for breakfast. The hotel was only a short walk to the main strip of restaurants and bars and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Shower wasn't all that great but haven't come across any that are in the Philippines yet.

Julius, a Baguio City local like me, and his staff are friendly and accommodating. Julius looks after the guests in regards to best tours, suggests things to do in Coron, informative about the place. The view at the rooftop is priceless. If one wants to feel the pulse of the place, Casa Montemar is is the place to be...walking distance to the necessary places to be...where to dine in, place of worship, market. The breakfast is value for money and delicious... adobo and pancakes, yummy. Thank you for the memorable stay.

Pictures looked better than reality.”

Location is great and staff is so sweet. The rooms and pool area did not live up to our expectations, so we decided to leave after the first night instead of staying all 4 nights as planned. The staff was lovely in that situation, apologised and did not charge us for the nights that we didn’t stay.

Highly recommended! ”

The price is superb. We paid for standard but we got a panoramic view room as a gift for our honeymoon. Staffs are thoughtful as well as the owner. They told us tours we can book and activities we can do while in Coron, suggested restaurants. You can walk to town. Away from noise. It has a nice view in the roof deck. You can do stargazing at night. They ask corkages for drinks brought outside. They have a pool.

nice location, great staff extra mile service”

The hotel is located a lil bit far from the crowded town proper but still accessible. The owner Sir Jimmy is very accommodating and warm, he did extra mile services taking us to Borac Bay Bungalows and Spa, their resort accommodation in Borac Bay. It is sweet escape and a real paradise in Bora Bay, we are thankful for the great privilege of visiting paradise, away from the tourist crowds and not the usual tourist destination in Coron. The staff in Casa Montemar and in Borac Bay Bungalows, are very kind as well. I will definitely recommend Casa Montemar to my friends and will stay there again when I get back to Coron.

A few hiccups but OVERALL GREAT Place! ”

1. AWESOME Staff! Especially the girls (Shela, Maryanne etc) They were very helpful with our questions, concerns and needs! From arranging airport transfers, tours, where to eat, tricycle pickups etc. 2. So near food places and down town main road! 5-10 minute walk. But you can ride a tricyle for only 10-15 Ph Pesos (or $.25) per person. 3. Breakfast (only Php100 for a decent plate. They show you a menu to choose from the night before if you want to avail it) is served at the rooftop where you eat overlooking the town & the bay. Instant coffee free w/ the breakfast. 4. Room we got was nice, clean & had a balcony. There was water dripping from the ceiling when the rain was pouring hard (which we didn't understand because there was a room above us) but we moved the bed a few inches & we weren't bothered by it anymore. Air-conditioning was very cool, yay! They need new pillows. 5. Bathroom had hot water. Water pressure could be better, though. 6. Pool was cleaned during our stay 👍

Walkable to City and Cheap”

The hotel location is few minutes away from the city. Also near to the well known Mt. Tapyas. The breakfast is good. The room is clean. Some of the things that i don't like are 1) the shower head is not working properly, but they provide a pail and a tabo which are not too clean (i cleanse it myself before i use it), 2) because the shower head is not ok, i used to shower with cold water. I think they should invest in good shower set. 3) the basin faucet is very old and color black. 4) we experienced brown out for few minutes twice in our week stay, not sure if they have generator for that. Overall it's a value for money. Still recommendable.

Amazing sunset view of the bay and superb customer service”

We didn't arrange any airport pick-up but someone was already waiting for us upon arrival at the airport that was arranged by Kuya Jimmy. The property is just a bit outside town which is great because it is quiet and just walking distance to the town. Kuya Jimmy, the owner, helped arranging our tours and gave us tips where to eat. They also serve breakfast for only 100 pesos on the rooftop with amazing view of the bay. They serve it early in the morning just in time before the tour pick-up.

Fantastic”

I like the place that it's elevated at the foot of the mountain. Very nice panoramic view. It was just actually the pool. I'm not sure how often you guys are changing the water. We get there seeing it not so inviting and 'til we checked out it's still the same. Other than that, it's an amazing hotel, a bang for the buck.

Ideal Location, Super Friendly and Helpful Staff”

Casa Montemar is located near Coron town center and is walking distance from the port (for island hopping) and the entrance for Mt. Tapyas. The staff are really nice and helpful. You can ask them to help you book your tours and airport transfers, too.

Best affordable stay in Coron ”

I stayed at 3 places during my time in Coron and this was my favourite and the cheapest also, the owner and staff were so friendly and let us check in early when we arrived around 5-5.30am we managed to check in around 8.30-9am, 3 of the nights I had here were already booked so on my 4th night in Coron I came back to stay here, just a note it says on Agoda it is fully booked sometimes but if you go in here there are rooms, otherwise I would have booked more than one night as I thought it was booked out the next few

Good place to stay”

If your looking for a place just to rest and sleep after touring Coron, this is the place for you. Nothing special on the rooms but it was clean and comfortable. The spectacular on this hotel was their roofdeck were you can see the view of the bay especially during sunset, a perfect way to end your day. The staffs were friendly and they are about to finish the pool in a few weeks so its a plus for the future guests.

i had spend three night right there, the room is good enough for a single traveler, but the sleeping quality wasn't very good for these day, since the dog at opposite house was barking whole night long, he made me can't sleep very well, expect this point there are good experience

Sulit yung binayaran mo and accessible pa sa town proper .. The staffs were accommodating and friendly .. They will offer you services like Package Tour and Van transfer to make your stay easier .. walking distance din to Mt.Tapyas :)

Great but rooms for improvement ”

Located halfway in the hill, you need 5-10 minuetes walk to the town. Friendly staff, I was warmly welcome! Spectacular view from the rooftop. The room is clean with air-con. They however didn't mean to clean the room unless requested, where improvements are needed. In general, an amazing exp.!
