I have stayed here in the past and will again when IT IS OPEN
IT WAS CLOSED. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. THE MOTEL IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON AND BOOKING AND THE MOTEL DO NOT RESPOND TO YOU BUT WILL CHARGE YOUR CARD. MADE THE RESERVATION WHILE AT DINNER AND IF THE MOTEL APPEARSON BOOKING, YOU EXPECT IT TO BE OPEN. IT IS NOT OPEN. IT'S DARK. NO ONE IS THERE AND THE OFFICE IS DARK. IT SHOULD NOT BE ON THE BOOKING APP AND CHARGING CUSTOMERS FOR NOTHING IN RETURN.

It’s an older facility in need of upgrade. The screen was slit open so good thing there’s no bugs this time of year. The shower was hot then cold then hot again. The pictures were deceiving. No one in office this morning to check out.

The location is great. The rooms were very clean, staff were nice and the view of the beach is great. We will definitely book again.
The only complaint we have is that there are no outlets and it had poor lighting. Other than that the place was great.

Love the location. About 3 blocks from the boardwalk, 2 blocks from Anthony's deli/liquors, and right by the entrance to the beach. Private, off-street parking.
Several suggestions to make the room more comfortable: side chairs to sit on in the evening to watch TV, wayyyy more lighting/overhead light with ceiling fan, more outlets so the alarm clock can at least plug in, in-room coffee maker, extra blankets. Also, I never saw anything on Booking that said there would be a mandatory $200 security deposit.

Location was great. We could walk right out onto the beach. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
The Wi-Fi was terrible. Our patio door was really hard to open and close. Some patios had nice chairs with cushions and a small table. Ours only had the hard plastic chairs and no table.

Three strikes and you're out!”

The first room they gave me had a sliding glass door that was almost impossible to move. The second room had a fallen curtain rod. The third room had lots of sand in the sheets of both made beds. No offer was made to give me even a partial refund. All they did was send a guy up with new sheets. This is no way to run a hotel.

Simple stay at Simple Life. Steps to the beach for anyone that spends almost zero time in their room”

The room was updated, clean, and located next to the beach.
There were no bathroom outlets. There was no outlet for the second bedside lamp. There was an outlet that didn't work altogether. The wifi connected but rarely worked. Cable TV service was standard definition on a high definition TV with limited channels.

We had a great time and we loved being close to the beach. We would come again!”

The location was great. the balcony was nice with the partial view of the ocean. The bed was very comfortable and the room was more modern. Staff was nice and we got everything we needed.
The shower was a little small. Housekeeping came into our room when we weren’t there which we didn’t expect, I didn’t like that. The garbage trucks would make an insane amount of noise outside at 4am which was annoying.
