Having a tv schedule showing what different channels are available. Having a coffee machine in room would be nice to have in each room to make coffee ,pool was closed but understandable due to bad storm all three days of our stay.

Super friendly staff with a real family feel. Thoughtful amenities in the rooms, we didn’t need to run to the store for anything. The air conditioning worked really well and the rooms and the pool were all very clean. It’s just a short walk to the beach and we liked the location away from the boardwalk area.

The staff we dealt with, Len and Sue, were so kind and helpful! We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night, as did a friend of ours. This motel had all the amenities we required for our stay. It was very very clean and the housekeeping staff was friendly and responsive. It was a bargain!
The toilet was older and could have had better water pressure.

Great value, clean room, nice staff, free parking and the motel was right next to the beach! Just know that this would be a good place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing beach stay not near the boardwalk (which is not walking distance). Outdoor pool was also nice. Overall, very pleasant experience and we will return! The staff also let us know that they didn't have an issue with us keeping our car parked in their free lot to play more at the beach even after we check out. This place is nice.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Room was nice and big for 2 adults and one child. They have soap dispensers in the shower and by the sink which I though was a smart idea. Rooms where nice and clean.

A secret to share!”

The perfect place to stay with a family or just a couple getting away. It's quiet, VERY clean and the owner is absolutely phenomenal! There's a pool on-site to use and it's a short walk to the beach ⛱️ 😎 A kitchenette is available to limit dining out and FREE Coffee in the office (where you can chat with the owner 😀). I enjoyed getting to know her and hearing the story of how her and her husband (God rest his soul) became the pround owners of such a lovely treasure. I will definitely be back again.
I loved everything about this place. Location, price, friendly employees, cleanliness and the owner is a sweetheart!

The room had almost no natural light, the outside porch was a joke and I thought this room was $123/nt, a discount rate for Monday night, and I was charged $171/nt, which for the room, which smelled of mildew once the AC was turned to something more than frigid, was a rip.

The room was bigger than some places I've stayed in the past, great for the two of us. The small kitchen area was just what we needed. All areas nice and clean and pool was great! Exceptionally friendly staff!
Loved the Shangri-la motel! I have nothing negative to say! We decided this will be our go to motel for all future OCMD trips! Quiet area, close to the beach, comfy beds, wonderful staff, worth every penny!
