Friendly Staff, Excellent Breakfast, Comfortable Rooms, Central Location”

I checked-in a Seda because I was attending an event at the hotel. I've stayed at other Seda's before and I had high expectations. I am glad to say that all those expectations have been met and even exceeded. The location of the hotel is very central and I'm super happy that it is connected to the Ayala mall where one can go shop or eat at their chosen restaurant. Speaking of food, Seda's breakfast buffet was excellent. The quality of food and the variety of choices is topnotch. But my most fave part of my stay are the staff. They were so friendly, welcoming, and professional. They offer warm and sincere smile as soon as you enter and they are super helpful when you have any question/request. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who might be interested in staying in Cebu

Try to think outside the box”

Not all rooms in first-class hotels in Cebu have a bath tub. This one is one such. There are others. This reviewer has a habit of misbehaving in first-class hotels (although not for the bath tub) and he hereby apologises to all Cebu first-class hotels. The Agoda price for three persons was double the price for two persons. Agoda.com went on to find a cheaper price – for three persons - through one of its "partners". The Agoda document said – to the hotel – that it – the latter – would be paid, not by Agoda but, through a third party. Upon check-in, with three persons for four nights, we were told, we had only breakfast for two. We didn’t mind. Upon check-out, the breakfasts for the third person were reimbursed.

We had a brief visit in Cebu and we stayed in Seda hotel for 2 days. The location is convenient as it is adjacent to Ayala Mall . Accessible to buy necessities and food if you are like me with young children. Park is also available in the mall which can be access through the back entrance of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

Location, location, location!”

This hotel is strategically positioned to give you that sense of Cebu, and still not away from the commercial complex. Seda Ayala Cebu provides comfort and style, brought by the warm hospitality of their staff. Great place to stay!

First time in Cebu”

I had a great experience while staying at the hotel. Although the hotel was fully booked, they made sure that they inform me of the availability of the room for check-in. They also accommodated some of my requests which made it easier for my stay. I will be returning to Cebu again and will definitely book Seda Cebu Hotel again.

Pleasant Weekend Stay”

Traveled to Cebu for a weekend trip and thankfully I and my daughter and husband stayed at Seda Hotel where the bed and sheets are clean and comfortable and service is excellent. Buffet breakfast is so-so and quite the same as in Seda Abreeza and Seda Vertis North. Gym is clean and with good equipment. The hotel bar is also impressive.

We chose this hotel as a 3 day ‘rest-byte’ from travelling. It’s ideal, right next to the Seda Ayala shopping mall which has an excellent choice of shops and restaurants. ( 300 pesos from the airport in a white taxi) The quality of the rooms is superb with good WiFi throughout. The pool gets the sun all day and is kept clean. Negatives - the breakfast service could be improved with more staff and a better process ie have more staff clearing tables to make space for new guests. Replenish food up to closing time! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others

Exceptional”

Decided to stay here for a night. Perfect location close to Ayala, shops and just across where we need to be in the morning. Check-in and out was a breeze. Beautiful, Clean lobby and rooms, after all it’s Seda. ü Bed is sooo comfortable and the seating area is perfect with a big bathroom for 2. Just one set back: In the afternoon, we asked the front desk if we can print 2 pages and she gladly said yes and gave an email where we can send it. Evening came like around 10pm when we finished the document dor printing so we asked the front desk again but the lady in the front desk said its P40 per page. We were shocked as earlier that day the other lady said its for free and they can print for the guest. Maybe the lady on duty that night didn’t know we’re guest thus the price. We opted to wait till morning and after our sumptuous breakfast, we asked again if its okay to print and if there is any charge and she the lady on duty said no. Kudos to KIM for helping us with our stay.

For better and worse”

This was my third visit to this hotel and the first under the SEDA brand. The renovations are clean and nice and the staff remain warm and friendly. There is one big loss, behind the foyer used to host small bands nightly by the bar and there was always such a great atmosphere. But now there is just a tiny bar next to two computers. It has deteriorated the vibe of the place. Breakfasts and food are great. The other thing to renovate is the entire pool area as it is too small and somewhat uninviting. Proximity to Ayala Mall is always a plus because traffic out there is shocking.

Beat the other hotels in the same area”

We went to Cebu during Christmas season. Only stayed at Seda for one night and it was because the other hotel we booked for more nights was not available for our last night. After staying at both, we would say Seda is much much way way more better and value for the money - we paid only 10% more than the other hotel. The other hotel somehow won a best buffet breakfast award but their buffet was disaster - fake juice, cold dry pasties, limited option. The quality of Seda’s buffet breakfast deserves 10 times applause. Same as their hotel room facilities 👍🏿

I just wish they replied sooner to inquiries.. I booked the rooms around the last week of January with a request for airport transfer. By March, I still didn’t get any communication from the hotel so I looked for another provider. They replied to me about the airport transfer only on the day of the flight to Cebu! Then they kept on calling in the span of 2? 3? hours to confirm even though I’ve replied that we already got someone else because it took them too long to communicate with me. Other than this, everything is good.

The best hotel experience”

We stayed at seda hotel overnight and it was the best. From bed to food to staff everyting is by far the best experience stay at a hotel in cebu.

Awesome stay!”

Everything was awesome, didnt see a negative stuff there. Staff was nice, especially Renogen in breakfast buffet served us a fresh brewed coffee. Super nice guy, and Room attendant also very nice, gave us new towel even if I forgot to ask them. Food in breakfast was very delicious and worth the money, beside Ayala Center and they have connected exit and entrance. Very nice experienced their. So so love it!

Convenient City Stay”

The primary reason why I stay at Seda will always be location, location and location. The location trumps every other reason why you should or should not stay at this place. The redesigned Seda (previously a Marriott) feels more modern, airy and clean from the lobby, public areas and your room. I like how they got rid of the carpet inside the rooms, but along with that comes the audible footsteps of your neighbor upstairs. The two things I'd wish they'd improve on are: inclusion of a magnifying mirror and a new hair dryer inside the room. For someone who wears contacts, shaves or applies make up, an inclusion of a magnifying mirror in a bathroom greatly helps. The hair dryer was frustrating to use and gave me hand cramps. I think your Housekeeping head definitely does not use a hair dryer, hence the decision of purchasing a weird hair dryer that asks you to press the handle all the time to keep it running.

The best part is hassle-free check in and check out! Great location with excellent customer service! Very comfortable bed! Great free buffet breakfast! I would just like to suggest that Seda should install bidets on bathrooms since for people like me who prefer water as tissue may irritate our sensitive skin, "bidet is really life!"... it frustrates me and let me think twice if I'll book again since there's no bidet, despite the great aspects of this hote! 😥😥😥 But still very nice hotel stay minus the bidet! 😍👍👍👍

Nice Hotel”

I last stayed in this hotel 10 years ago when it was the Marriot. It seems to be pretty much the same quality as I remembered. I like the super convenient location to Ayala Mall. Some of the rooms look down on the terraces. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices and the buffet food quality was above the norm. Only con is its a little pricey compared to pretty close quality hotels which are also very close to Ayala.

The location of Seda hotel is really good. The staff are all really nice, the breakfast so good and all the services are great. The only small thing I could say is that they should clean the windows of the rooms, they are very dirty. But above all my stay was perfect.
