Nice and convenient, could be better for price”

Convenient walking distance from Thong Sala ferry. Attractive place and room. Nice staff. Nice room. No water bottles, soap for bathroom, towel, or waste basket liner were present upon arrival to room. For the price, I would prefer those amenities be offered. The bathroom smelled moldy. The bathroom is difficultly tight to open. One light in the room that is over the bed and extremely bright.

Comfortable room; friendly staff”

I find the dorm room I was staying in really comfortable as they have an air-con equipped. I was supposed to stay here for just two days but have ended up extending my stay for four more days. It is located just five mins' walk from the pier/port, so it shall be rather easy for anyone to find Bigbossa. The boss seems committed in improving their service and they are now in the midst of expanding this relatively new hostel. The price is really reasonable and it's definitely value for money.

Great hostel”

I picked this hostel because it was the cheapest I could find for full moon. It's the perfect hostel if you are travelling solo cause it's really easy to meet people. The rooms are clean and aircon is working the whole day. It is just in front of the pier so it's far from haad run but if you don't want to be in the middle of everything its just 100b to go to anywhere in the island or you can rent a scooter.

Great for full moon party plus everything else”

I went there 3 days before full moon party and left 7.30am the day after party and my stay was excellent. It's located quite far from where the party is held but they organize tuk tuks for cheap and the even bought us some alcohol! It's good because the hostel location is not too busy but it's busy enough, by hadron beach we heard it was very crowded to stay there and it books up very fast down there too. The other parties leading up to the full moon are halfway between the hostel and the full moon so not a problem. The also rent out scooters and help with tours. I rate it very well, the only issue would be that the beds are very hard! But I will still stay there again.

Great hostel, amazing vibes”

The hostel is incredibly good, rooms are spacious and clean, toilets are clean and plenty of room, common area invites you to stop and have a chat. Bedside light and plug on each bed. The staff is unbelievably good and friendly, I ended up staying 2 weeks including one full moon party and that's the place where you want to be for few drinks before partying :)

Comfortabel stay for a good price”

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel! The staff is very friendly, nice to talk to. Had a good bed in a spacious room and hot shower. Everything you need is very close by. At night it is very quiet to have a good rest. Had a very pleasant and comfortable time here.

excellent service / reasonable price”

I love this hostel. It's near the pier and the food market. It's 10km far from the fullmoon party beach but you can rent a motorbike or take a taxi there.

Okay for an early morning ferry!”

Stayed here one night for an early morning ferry. Location is a 5 minute walk to the pier. Stayed in a 4-bed mixed AC dorm. AC was great. Room was not very sound proof and you could hear the noise from the restaurant or staff next door as well as people in the hostel corridor. It is all cement so everything echoes. Anyways, I usually sleep with ear plugs in but didn't that night as I didn't want to sleep through my alarm and miss my ferry/flight. A bunch of the hostel guests returned home at 3am and decided to hang out and talk in the corridor for an hour or so. Was not able to get a good nights rest. Staff was friendly.

Kind Personal but to much Miskitos ”

The room was easy. Very big. I found a shaver from the last person in the bathroom. Air-co and fan are very good. It's very close to the pier. But around is no beautiful beach. You need to take a taxi or a motorbike. A seven eleven is around the Conor and nice shops and restaurants. A few Miskitos were in the room so the first night was haunting the flying monsters. All in all it was very nice there. But for enjoying the beach I would take another hostel in the north or south.

Friendly stuff ”

The stuff is super friendly, in the right moment you can do a lot of friends, good place for chill out. The AC works perfectly and the matter are hard, but not that hard. The toilets could be cleaner, and some of the shower hasn't hot water. The location is just nearby the pier, and u can rent a motorbike or buy your ticket to move to others islands

Best hostel on our travels”

Loved it, good staff, great location, beautiful scenery, met most amazing people from around the world, with great night life, and very close to some amazing food. Safe to put belongings.

Everything but not a place to meet someone”

Arriving at Big Bossa Hostel we thought it would be a good location. Two markets are located close to the hostel that's good, but if you stay for one of the Moon Festivals I can't recommend to stay at BigBossa!! We shared a room with another german guy and we were the only ones in the hostel. Besides the hostel wasn't clean at all! They didn't change the bin or clean the toilet which was full of Dirarrhea whatever I don't wanna know within the three days! Also the hostel manager wasn't nice, we lost our keys and he charged us 400Baht. I think that's way too much! Also we were going to book the ferry with him but than a older couple arrived in his agency and he asked us to come back later, which isn't fair at all. So in total I wouldn't recommend this hostel. I rather would be looking for something next to Ban Tai where you can find a hostel for the same price and you can actually meet people!!

Great time at Bigboss”

Stayed a couple days around the fullmoon festival. I had a great time at Bigboss because it has a very sociable and relaxed atmosphere. The people running the place are really friendly and helpful. Special thumbs up for Sam for making everyone feel welcome.

Very friendly staff”

The staff is very cool, it's 4 min walk from the pier, clean, the only thing is the bed, very hard. Taxi is 100 baht for the full moon party.

Room without air”

The room was completely full of humidity, can't open the Windows because was on the gallerie at ground floor. I went out after one night. The price was not high for the period of full moon party.

Good”

Bathroom looked like it wasn't cleaned after previous guests, weak wifi, pillow like a rock, dark room. On the good site: minutes walk from the pier, friendly staff.
