Very nice resort!”
We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights at the seafari resort - and I must say that our stay in this place is the highlight of our Cebu trip. The resort is situated near the Oslob Whale Watching so location wise - it's really good. However, you need to go down through these loooong stairs before you can get to the rooms. But it's pretty good for exercise lol. When we went there, the waves are too strong so we weren't able to swim there, but they have pools and a jacuzzi that are over looking the sea! What we really like about the place are the food! We think the price for the food was worth it since the servings are in big portions and the chef is commendable for the delicious dishes that they served. We also appreciate their helpful staffs, they even carry our luggages from our room up to the lobby area and vice versa! But our fave is Ate Jona - she is very welcoming, very knowledgeable about the resort's amenities and she also gave us tips on how to enjoy the rest of trip in Cebu.

amazing stay”
Oslob doesn’t have much but seafari was a very pleasant place. The stairs Up and down to the resort was a little tiring but the resort itself is amazing. Beautiful view, nice swimming pool, has its own beach, staff was very helpful and friendly. The best part was they helped us book our whale shark tour. The tour is by number and u have to wait your turn but The hotel sends someone from their staff to line up at 4am and get a number for you which means no waiting on our part. Food from the restaurant was good too. Would definitely chose to stay here if I ever go back to Oslob

Wonderful”
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this resort! 3 hours away from the busy city was worth it. Very affordable with free breakfast, attentive and friendly staff, a quiet and relaxing place to stay, the room was big enough for us, nice swimming pools and most of all the beach! The sea is very clear. You can go snorkeling or diving. They also offer boat ride for free going to the whale sharks which is only 5-10 mins away. You can see the whole view from the entrance since their main resort is downhill. Their stairs is very tiring though especially if you're not an athlete but trust us, it's all worth it! We would definitely come back! Please also like their facebook page, Seafari Resort! You can see more pictures and of course our pictures are also there. Thanks to the awesome staff and owner. :)

Relaxing and well-located”
If you plan on going whale watching in Oslob and need a home base, this is an excellent choice. In fact, if you don't mind staying in one spot just to relax for several days, this fits the bill. There is no 'town' in the area, so you'd have to be satisfied with sticking around the resort and not going out to restaurants, etc. The food here was excellent, there are three pools, plenty of loungechairs, and a beach that is great for snorkeling. In fact, we saw whale sharks swim right by the shore of our hotel both days we stayed. The hotel also has a boat shuttle that takes you to the whale shark viewing area in the morning.

Hotel with a good view”
My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Seafari Resort because of the following: a. friendly and accommodating staff - they helped us rearrange our itinerary b. location - near the whale shark watching, a few minutes ride to the beautiful church of oslob and ihaw ihaw area; located at the main street; not recommended to elders and families with children because of the long stairways; spacious room; nice infinity pool, c. food - ok but dinnner meals are little bit expensive; a lot of yummy breakfast choices that is included in the room rate; they charge corkage fees. Will definitely recommend this to others.

Had a good stay :)”
We had a good stay at Seafari. You just need like 200 steps down from the gate, kinda' tiring though. :) But the view from up is just awesome. They have pools which I really like. And the view of the beach from the hotel is just perfect. What I like about it is it's near the whaleshark watching place. Nearby resort is the tan-awan, which is also cool. The room was okay. The food is just a bit expensive though. There are some power interruptions when we stayed. The staffs are very accomodating and friendly. The price of the hotel is more expensive, compared to the nearby hotels. All in all, I'd like to stay in this resort again1 :)

Listen to your staff”
Hey Mr. Owner, You need to listen to your staff. They know what they are talking about. But first let's get to the good. The location is fantastic, the water is clear and the best part was the neighboring beach was great and you can just walk over from Seafari. Being able to go from the ocean to the pool is great as well. The room was clean, the overall area was clean. So, why am I giving a bad review? Your food prices are terrible. You charge 150pesos for your choice of noodles, and then charge 200 pesos for the carbonara sauce, which is most likely a can of mushroom soup. 350 pesos for a plate of pasta, that is not made from scratch and coming from a place that is not a luxury resort? That seems a bit much. Not to mention the fact that everything from the kitchen was very slow. I asked your staff why is the pricing like this? They said that they tried to tell the owner not to do this, but he wouldn't listen. The worst part of all this, is that their contract stipulates that you are not to bring in outside food. But the prices of the food at the hotel are ridiculous! And many times, the items were out of stock. Many times, I wanted a nice fruit shake to relax by the pool, but the fruits were finished. So, what to do? I'm not allowed to bring in food, but the food is overpriced and many times out of stock. So, I'm forced to climb up the stairs (which didn't bother me, but my wife found it hard) and go to a nearby place (brumini resort area had great pizza), that had way cheaper food and eat there. I just want to enjoy an apple that doesn't cost triple the price at the market, or is at least fresh (as one time the watermelon at breakfast was overripe), is that too much to ask? You threaten a penalty for bringing outside food on the premises. How am I supposed to enjoy my hotel stay at this place, when the food is not being enjoyed here and is enjoyed elsewhere. Listen to your staff, change your pricing plans, otherwise, I find it very hard to recommend this pl

Get ready to do some cardio!”
You are not allowed to bring any type of drink our food inside, so prepare to pay for their in-house menu, a little bit pricey though. The taste was quite alright. The location was great, they will provide a free transfer to the whale shark encounter area, which is just a 5 minute motorbike ride from the resort. It is very near Tumalog falls, hire a motorbike to take you there. The only challenge is going up their staircase, get ready to do some cardio. The small infinity pool was clean, rooms are a bit old but kept generally clean, the beds were comfortable, the television reception was intermittent, air-con if working fine, try to go to the beach and swim in the blue waters! Tell the bus driver to drop you off at Seafari, it just along the highway, and simply catch a bus back to Cebu. Overall, it was a great stay!

An experience of a lifetime. ”
We stayed at Seafari as a big group with the whole family old and young. The steep steps down towards the hotel may not be for the faint hearted but my Senior Citizens were game. The paradise as we arrived down the cliff was worth it. A trip on a Banka/small paddle boat was used to go back to reality for those who could not manage the steps back.

Simple hotel with amazing view ”
Seafari resort is very well located at Oslob for whale sharks attraction and Sumilon island. Amazing view on sea and from top, but not recommended to older people due to difficult stairs. Staff is nice and smilling, but not well informed or managed and we needed to ask many times the things and to check if were done. Also every little thing you ask must me paid in addition (extra pillow, kettle...). But anyway nice stay especially with breathtaking view on sea.

Good view”
The hotel is located approximately between the whale shark viewing and Tumalog waterfall. You can take a bus from South Terminal Bus in Cebu City to Oslob and the journey is about 3hr30mins. The moment you reach Oslob just get prepare to alight after the Tumalog waterfall sign and watch out for Seafari sign on the left. The only problem with this hotel is that you need to climb about 200 steps. But the hotel staff will be glad to carry your luggage.

We were comfortable. There for Whale Shark tour.”
We went there for the Whale Shark thing. Last year we stayed at the Triple B's in Alcoy. I liked this much more except for the travel in and out of the hotel. The pool/dining/bar is only about 10 or so yards to the ocean. Yeah I know they are a little high for the area but we got a fan room and were ok. The net sucks but it is bad the farther you get from Cebu City. The food was pretty good and not too overpriced plus your sitting right next to the water. We both enjoyed our dinner. The beer definitely could be a lot colder but I'm American and that's how most of us like drinking our beers. When I go back to Oslob I am sure I will stay there again. Just hope they have some kind of lift put in and they crank the fridge up some.

Perfect location to visit the Whale Sharks”
Amazing view but be warned the hotel is on a cliff face so you will need to climb a number of stairs (6 flights) . They may be able to place your luggage on a zip line but if you have knee issues etc and cannot climb stairs, this may not be the place for you. The resort is only 1km from the whale sharks so you are able to walk down or catch their free shuttle at 6:30. I would recommend walking as we arrived at 6 and there was already a large group of tourists lining up. I loved the view from the resort, looking straight out into the ocean and offering three swimming pools. The resort restaurant is reasonably priced (though you can get the same meal down the road for cheaper ) and the breakfast was delicious.

Nice resort for those with good knees”
We spent two nights at Seafari and the first reality check was that we had to walk down around 250 steps to get to our accommodation. I wished somewhere in the Agaoda profile would have mentioned about that. If you have heart or knee issues. This is not a resort for you for you'd be expected to trek up and down multiple times to get to your activities. Having said that, it is a beautifully designed resort with friend staff and a good restaurant. The setting is beautiful. Like many hotels in the Philippines we have experienced, the property has not kept up with maintaining the facilities. For example, there was once a dumbwaiter for moving luggage but it looks like it has not been working for a while and staff had to carried suitcases up the stairs.

Resort on the side of a cliff”
We loved our stay. The view was fantastic and staff were friendly. The small resort is on the side of a cliff and you have 240 steps to climb if you want to go anywhere. You are a little isolated but staff will organize transport to the nearby Whale Shark viewing and the waterfalls in the area. The dining /pool area was nice and relaxing and you can walk along the beach. A small breakfast is included in the room price and you must pre-order your dinner if you wish to eat at their restaurant, remembering there isn't anything else much around. The food was very good though and 1 night they did a BBQ buffet music night on the beachfront which was nice. Because it is so isolated I would only recommend staying here a maximum of 2 nights and move on. PS: The young guys will carry your luggage up and down the 240 steps for you but it's very hard work so please tip them well :-) We enjoyed our stay, thanks.

wonderful views”
We had a wonderful time while we were there. We almost did not visit this resort because of the reviews posted earlier. The stairs down were a little long 240 steps but they were good exercise as well. The food was delightful. The staff went out of their way to see that we were comfortable. Our table was always ready for us and all the dishes were spotless. The beer needed to be more cold. On request the beer was chilled dpwn in a freezer. We can't wait for our next trip.

Bed bugs, food poisoning, and salty food, not so friendly staff”
Bed bugs, yes, my body was covered with 25+ bites. Not mosquito bites, but red welts close to each other. Food poisoning from shrimp with white sauce and noodles. I was suffering by 1:00 am after dinning in restaurant. There is no other place to eat in this area. After I told the staff of the food poisoning, the staff member did not question me or acknowledge of the warning to other guest. I ordered brochette for appetizers and got bread with meat sauce. This was my third trip to Seafari and previously loved the resort as it is close to the whale shark adventure. However, I will not be returning again. Sad as the past staff members were nice and always enjoyed the food. Staff did not care or friendly and no one was in charge on the resort. Last, lots of construction on the resort. Very noisy with all the hammering and band saws noises.,..good bye forever Seafari.

Seafari is a good place worth your money. Only down side is the many steps of stairs you have to go through just to get to the hotel from the main road and vice versa.
