Just Perfect”

I stayed in a superior room with my adult daughter for 3 nights and it was indeed Superior . The room was a good size ,2 double beds , extremely clean and serviced daily (always nice to have your bed made up for you). Bathroom great , a large part of the mirror never fogged up , good size walk in (no step) shower and separate bath. The WiFi was super easy to connect to and stayed connected (no annoying drop outs) .The small (but not too small) balcony was lovely . The staff were always smiling , extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome . But the piece de resistance were the BEDS !!! OMG !!! it was like you were sleeping on a cloud , so comfortable , supportive and pure luxury . Wherever I travel next I will definitely be looking for a Scenic Suites at my destination ... So for those of you looking at the Scenic Suites Queenstown . THIS IS the place to stay !!!

very nice hotel”

The Scenic Suites Queenstown were easy to find as on the main road into Queenstown,and just a 5 minute stoll downhill to the town.Rooms were very very nice,modern and fresh and mine had a balcony with a part view.The Scenic suites had a restaurant which i used for breakfast which was nothing special.I could see that this hotel caters for alot of coach parties. Overall i had a pleasnt stay here and would reccomend.

Another wonderful stay!”

This was our second visit to Queenstown and we did not hesitate to book a suite at Scenic Suites Queenstown again. Hassle-free, clean and spacious room, warm and welcoming staff and just a perfect place to unwind after a day of adventures. Clean bathrooms and kitchen facilities and they even had the room warmed up for us when we arrived. We want to make a special shout out to Mike who did not hesitate to help us when our car had a flat battery. They had no obligation to do this, especially since we had already checked out, so it was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it to singles, couples and families!

Fantastic staff, well appointed room”

As our flight into Queenstown arrived early in the morning we transferred to this hotel expecting to just leave our bags and return later in the day. Upon arriving, the duty manager took it upon herself to liaise with housekeeping staff to have one of the two rooms we had booked ready for us within the hour. The duty manager took our mobile number and called us within the hour while we having breakfast to advise the room was ready and we could return and check in at our leisure. This allowed us to wander around Queenstown and get some breakfast and have a shower after a long flight then get on with our full day of activities. The service at this property was impeccable. The rooms are very well appointed with great views and very comfortable beds. A great experience.

Absolutely the Best!”

Staff are awesome. In-laws enjoyed their stay. They wished they stayed longer on this place as they said they really enjoyed it and had a truly relaxing time. Thank you Scenic Suites! Will be coming back to this place when we go to Queenstown. Will absolutely recommend to friends too.

Great stay”

Our family stayed here for 3 nights. We were satisfied in general. It is close to the city center and one of main road of Queenstown. So you may hear some noise of passing cars given it is right in the middle of main street. Overall, room is really clean and amenities are also great. Bed was big enough for 2 adults and young kids to use. It is quite close to downtown so you can use many restaurants although you need to climb the hill when you return to hotel.

Nice hotel near the heart of Queenstown”

It was a bit tricky for me to find the hotel entrance by car as the car park entrance and receptions are not located at the main street. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Generous in bedding, two double beds used for twin configuration while most other accommodation in the area only offer two single beds or one double and one single in this price range. If you are not after a kitchen/kitchenette, the Scenic Suites is a better deal than motels in the area. However sound insulation is bad and we often had noise from the next room.

Good sized accommodation, close to town center”

We spent the last three nights of the holiday in this accommodation and out of the seven places that we stayed it was the second best. The room was large and in good condition, the staff were all friendly and helpful (including recommending restaurants) and it was in a good location (5 min walk to town center). We would use this accommodation again when we next visit Queenstown. The only negatives are: - The building is a maze and difficult to navigate around. - The room shared a doorway to the adjacent room, with a private lobby, which is not good for personal security. - The building is just up a steep hill when walking from the town center and the accommodation was built going up the hill, so it is not suitable for people with limited mobility.

Lovely hotel, but be careful of the room you get”

The scenic suites hotel is a very nice hotel, with a good location (its located about a 5 - 10 min walk from the town centre of queenstown and despite the fact that the 2 mins that you need to walk uphill is very steep, for someone reasonably fit, its a good location). The rooms were very nice, and quite large, new furnishing and very well kept. The great thing about the rooms were that they all come with a small table fan, which is great as the rooms get stuffy at night. We stayed here 3 times, and the main issue we had was that none of the rooms we stayed in had a view. Also, the structure of the rooms is a bit odd. There is a main door, which opens into a small (4x4) lobby, which has 2 rooms accessed from inside. So your door is basically a couple of inches from your neighbours, and if they are noisy, its a bit disconcerting. Other than that, this was a wonderful hotel to stay at.

Good choice to stay in Scenic for honeymoon trip. Just 10mins walk to Queenstown Mall. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Spacious room with all-you-need in-room facilities.

Great Hotel and Location”

This hotel has an awesome location, close to the centre of Queenstown - short walk to everywhere in town. Awesome lake and mountain views and staff were exception - provided a great base for our holiday. We would definately stay there again. Hotel could not be faulted except would have been great to have free wifi in our rooms.

Exactly what me and my friends were looking for.”

My friends and I were traveling to Queenstown and stayed here for 2 nights. The room was really nice, the beds were comfortable and we were a 5 min walk from the shops. I only wish I could have spend more time in Queenstown.

Comfortable and stylish hotel ”

in general, a great place to stay in queenstown. on the first night, we stayed in a disable room on the ground with neither a bathtub nor views. however, the receptionist was extremely helpful (her name is kerry?) who offered us a mountain view room for the remainder two nights!

Queenstown = Ski Town”

Queenstown is a good place to start one's snow related activities. It is also the gateway to Fijordland and the Milford Sound. Unfortunately, the road to Milford Sound was closed because of an avalanche. I guess this is a good reason to come again to visit and get to see it. There is a great boat trip across the lake to a sheep farm. If you have small children, make sure you visit. The sheep and other animals are very friendly and it was fun to feed them by hand. The sheep shearing demonstration was also interesting. After the shearing, there was a wonderful tea on the veranda overlooking the lake. As an added bonus, the scones and pastries were mouth watering and the platters never looked empty.

Great value for money and location”

The space is generous and very well kept. The booking and checking in process was smooth and easy. Location is very well situated in the heart of Queenstown city centre. Just a 5 minutes walk down the road and you'll hit the bars and restaurants. Satisfactory stay here and will definitely book again in future. Only issue is the limited parking spaces available.

Better than expected!”

we had a fantastic stay at the scenic suites after a few tough days at the kepler track. we were very positively surprised when we entered our room (would rather call it a great apartment, though). views over the city from big windows. a nice balcony. fully equipped kitchen. a bit noisy from the busy street outside. in all one of the best value placed we ever stayed at.

Great family-friendly accomodation”

We booked a one bedroom apartment for 10 days while we enjoyed the end of the ski season. Apartments have a great little kitchen including coffee machine so we could get up early, make our own cooked breakfast with coffee before heading to the slopes for the day. Our seven year old daughter loves this place and every morning would pull a blanket over to the floor-to-ceiling windows and lie down to watch the sun rise over the snow-capped mountains. At the end of a long day of skiing, it was great to come back to a nice, hot bath. The only drawback is the limited on site guest parking - it's essential to arrive back by 5pm to snare a park in the enclosed underground parking facilities. It was our second stay at Scenic Suites and we'll be back.

This apartment was great for our stay”

Very close to Queenstown shops and restaurants. There is some maintenance work that did not disrupt our stay. The reception is a bit of a challenge to get to. Security is great. Half the undercover carpark is not assessible due to maintenance.
