Very Comfortable Room!”

Clean, Warm and enouh Hot water in Winter time

It was second time to Sapa. Most hotels including the hotel which I used before in Sapa (maybe) don't supply enough hot water (I read many reviews), but we could enjoy even bath in Panorama. And the heater in every room made us warm all day. We used deluxe double room and deluxe triple room for us 5. They were mountain views. I recommend mountain views (higher than 3th floor) because they face south. If you stay on 2nd or 3rd floor, you would just see the wall of other hotels even though you paid the same money for mountain view. When we arrived hotel, they gave us one deluxe triple room and one standard room, so I showed my receipt on cell phone to the staff but he told me all deluxe rooms were full. I thought it was nonsense! He answered he would change room on next day, but he said nothing to next day evening, so I asked him to change room. so tired and angry with him.

Very comfortable and great value ”

Comfortable bed; great view; staff and pancake breakfast

We had a very comfortable stay at the Sapa Panorama Hotel and would recommend it to others. The room was well equipped and very comfortable, not huge, but fine for two of us. The staff were very friendly, honest and helpful. My only two complaints would be that our names were not on the list for the station pickup despite the hotel confirming they'd pick us up and us not being allowed to board the hotel bus until everyone else had boarded as a result. We felt this was rude and we should have received an apology. Luckily there was space on the bus, just. Secondly, our bill was rounded up by 8000 Dong. It shouldn't have been.

Foggy and wet weather in Sapa (dec) but...”

friendly and helpful staff, clean hot shower rooms and cozy hotel

very friendly staff, good and clean rooms with hot shower!!! very important especially in cold december. we ordered a room with mountain view on agoda but in dec nothing much to see except the fog. The breakfast was just average. We rent their motorbike to ride around for usd$6 and 60,000VND for 2 litres of petrol. Ride slowly and safely keeping to the right of the lane and slow downs at bends, honk to alert others of your approach. We also climbed fansipan in 1 day (super shagged!) in about 10 hours with a guide. The trails were very muddy and so we returned with super muddy and dirty clothes. Hotel provided laundry service (hand wash and blow dryer) at usd$2 per pair of trekking boots and 50,000vnd per kg of clothes. Trust me, its worth paying the money. Our clothes came back clean and dry, ready the next day. Overall we had a great stay at sapa panorama! Good value for money too.

Very clean and comfortable stay for one night”

Comfortable room with excellent bathroom (clean and good hot shower). Restaurant served excellent vietnamese food. Reception staff organised hiking trip to our ability and train tickets.

Excellent base to explore Sapa market and shops/restaurants up a quiet (and steep!) road away from the traffic. Hotel organised a variety of treks to the local villages and hill tribes including a return journey by minibus! Transfer to the station and train tickets back to Hanoi we're organised through the hotel, they booked us a much better cabin at a reasonable price compared to the one booked through our Hanoi hotel to get to Sapa! Also the transfer was cheaper than the minibus that picked us up at the train station on the way there , I think it's best to book this through the hotel both ways in advance. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. Would have stayed longer if the weather had been better!

Awesome stay”

Awesome stay at Sapa Panorama. Location very near to centre. Easy to reach. Staff very friendly. Sapa actually quite dusty, maybe because of construction so some area dusty but in the room, ok. Facilities really good. You can try their massage or trips, they will arrange it for you. I love it when they allow us to us shower room and toilet at first floor. Ya normally we will go for trekking or hiking trip in the morning and by that time we already check out, so they allow us to take shower and stay for a while before we can catch the bus back to Hanoi or other places . Breakfast also very delicious and lots of choices! Definitely gonna stay again here.

Brand new and affordable stay with friendly staff”

Newly built, centrally located, friendly staff and lounging areas

It was a comfortable stay and for the money, worth it. The hotel caters mostly to foreigners so it has all the western amenities. Lounging areas are nice and clean, the dining area is terraced with great view of the mountains and the breezes are great. It is newly built so there are finishing issues they really need to work out but nothing that was a deal breaker. Brand new toilet seat in room was fastened in correctly so it slid off, staff immediately took care of it. Using wood laminate in the shower area without a proper seal has made it warp up. The rooms have the look and feel of luxury hotel rooms but they miss their mark with the lack of attention to finer details. Staff is very friendly and try really hard to please. My only real complaint is what they consider a "mountain view" room. I booked 3 mountain view rooms 601,603,605 and 1 panorama room #402. I found this a tad deceitful as the panorama room is only one with true view of the mountains (mine was low floor so it was obstructed a bit by neighboring buildings. The hotel is built into a hillside and "mountain view" is really looking into the "hillside" of the other hotels. Even numbered rooms all face the real mountain side, none of the odd numbered rooms.

Great little hotel”

Location, leaving point for trekking tours, friendly service

The stay at the Sapa Panorama Hotel was an enjoyable experience and we would like to recommend it as a great stay. However we were a little disappointed as we chose the hotel as they promoted themselves as having great panorama mountain views. Our Deluxe Triple room was large and comfortable for our family of three but looked straight out of the back of the hotel onto a street and a market stall. No mountain view at all. The only view was from the restaurant at breakfast time and that was wonderful so make sure you ask for room with a view of the mountains. Good location as the trekking office and bus transfer all leave from the office below the hotel.

good loction, clean room, great staff!!!”

location, staff, organization

located on the hillside overlooking Sapa town Panorama has a wonderful view of both town and mountain side. We arrived early morning with the train. As our room wasn't ready (6:30), we were offered shower facilities before we headed out treking for the day. Having nothing booked reception organized everything for us and they turned out to be really good. We checked in early too and were able to drop our stuff off before setting off on above mentioned trek. The rooms were really tidy and clean, amenities good and bed was clean and comfy. The staff also organized our train tickets back to Hanoi. The food wasn't amazing for celiacs but there is the most fantastic pho place around the corner across from the lake. Would definetly stay here again,

Superb Location and Great View”

The location is the best part of the hotel. It is located in the center of the town, but not directly beside the noisy street. My stay was just great!

I am have booked Panorama Room located in 7th floor. The view is just great!! From the balcony, I can see everything up to Mount Fansipan and down to Sapa Square. I sat on the balcony for hours to enjoy the cold weather and beautiful view. The rooms is clean and just nice for us. Many restaurant near by serve good food, such as fresh salmon fish, fresh vegetable and etc. And it is just 5 mins walk to the walking street where you can find all the western food and Sapa minorities selling their art of work. If you want to have a great view, 6th and 7th floor is the only option. You may pay a little bit higher, but worth the money.

A good base in Sapa”

Location, room, and staff

We were going to be in Sapa for a few days in March so chose this hotel for its good reviews and heating! We arrived on a cold morning driving through low cloud on the hotel minibus ($3 each way) from the overnight train out of Hanoi. Sadly we had to wait 2 and a half hours in reception before our room was ready for us as the previous guests had not checked out. A bad start, but worth noting as nearly all guests arrive this way. However, when we finally got to the room things improved as it was a good size with balcony and view (not much to see that day but the weather got better too). The room was clean and tastefully decorated and everything worked (including the aircon unit which could blow hot or cold air on demand). The bathroom was great with a modern shower with plenty of hot water. Although we booked a double bed we found they pushed 2 singles together and put 2 covers over the bed. Breakfast was disappointing as it was a very limited buffet with not very good quality food. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and did not try to hard sell any trekking tours, though they had several to choose from. The hotel is located up a steep set of steps from the main road which could make it difficult for some visitors, but we found it was a good base for our stay in Sapa as it is centrally located in the town and therefore easy to get to shops or restaurants. And the view from our balcony when the weather picked up was great - looking over Sapa to the mountains beyond.

Good, quiet location”

Staff, location and restaurant

I stayed here for 4 nights, it's near enough to the tourist area, but also far enough away. It was raining for much of my stay, so I ate in the hotel all 4 nights. Three out of the four meals were fine. Breakfast was average for this type of hotel in Việt Nam. However, the staff were all first rate, helpful n polite, well at least all who I met there. My room was lovely and well-appointed, but although it had a balcony, it wasn't the best of views. If I stayed there again, I'd make sure I had a room on the other side of the hotel. Cetainly recommended if you want a quiet stay in SaPa.

Warm, Amazing and Fabulous”

Warm Hotel, hightly recommended to all visitors to Sapa

This is probably the best hotel we stayed in during our month trip. Staff is amazingly friendly and helpfull, and our room was amazing, with window in 2 directions. Good air conditioning can warm up all our room while Sapa weather was below zero and simply fantastic bathrooms, The hotel restaurant and bar was also particularly good and we had some good fun in there on the first evening. Because we were trekking on the second day and had already checked out, they let us use their showers on the 1st floor.

good location & view”

view, friendly staff, food

I made sure to book a room with balcony and loved the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows despite it being misty the whole time. I was glad to have heating in the room! Sapa was pretty dead at night so I had dinner in the hotel (off the a la carte menu, good and reasonably priced). Breakfast buffet was decent. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I stayed at the room (panorama view) on the 8th floor No.808. for 2 nights. I'm very appreciated. The service was good especially the front desk who suggested me and my son on Sapa trip. I loved this town, small but lovely. Good holiday.

Nice hotel made our stay very confortable”

Nice room, Friensly and helpful staff, Good location

We stayed in Sapa for 2 days (1 night). We spent the night at the hotel instead of in the mountains with local people because we wanted to enjoyed a hot shower after a day trip along the rice fields. Staff helped us to orgwnize day trips and our way back to the nearest main town to take the night train to Hanoi. perfect room (with view to mountains) in a perfect hotel made our stay perfect.

Great location”

Location

Sapa Panorama Hotel is a decent hotel with a great location near the Church. The service and breakfast is average, and the power tripped a couple of times during our one night stay. We stayed in a balcony room that had a pretty great view, even with the foggy weather. For those coming from the railway station, don't bother arranging for a transfer with the hotel, take the minibus with the other tourists as it brings you to the sapa centre all the same. it costs about US$3 or $4. When leaving Sapa, there is a minibus that comes to the hotel at about 5pm, but do check with the hotel to book a spot on the bus. It seems early (the train comes about 9pm), but if you leave any later you have to take a taxi and that is pricey. There are eateries near the railway station that you can kill time at.
