Recommended lodging in Sapa”

The first day of our stay happened to be the owner's son birthday. We were invited to the birthday party. We had a taste of their home made food. Despite the difference in our nationality and languages, the children had so much fun. We also had the chance to communicate with other guests. The day we returned to the hotel, after trekking, was 10 deg. C. Sapa Local House owner was warm and considerate, providing water to wash our muddy shoes, brought us slippers and even made hot ginger tea for us. The room was clean and nicely decorated. There is a fire place to warm up the rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Sapa.

Friendly owner with beautiful rooms overlooking a stunning view”

The owner and his family have an amazing business. I was a little nervous at first because there are so few reviews on Agoda, but if you google the name you can see that he's well established in Sapa and well loved by his previous guests. (I think he's new to Agoda). Everything worked well and we were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!

A very thankful hotel”

I have gone to sapa alone. I upgraded my room. The room was very comfortable. The scenery of the hotel is wonderful. And brackfas was so delicious. Hotel staff are really nice. They were always kind to me. I really recommend this place.

Good location，it is by the hill side of the Main Street in Sa Pa. 2minutes walk downhills to the restaurant and the lake and the bus. Room is very clean and quiet at night. Bed is too big to feel your girlfriend at all. It is a very pleasant stay in Sa Pa Local House.

One of the best hotel stays we've ever had!”

This is the loveliest hotel. To start with, the location is excellent - within a 10 minute walk of everything, but far enough away to be very quiet. The facilities are clean and very well updated/maintained. The beds are incredibly comfortable (the softest we've had in Asia thus far), the water gets very hot, and there are complimentary snacks and water in every room. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a better room and presented with hot tea and a fresh fruit platter. Breakfast is made to order and absolutely delightful. The highlight though is the family who runs this establishment. They are by far the most kind and generous hosts we have ever met! The day we arrived was their son's 7th birthday and they invited us to eat dinner and celebrate with them and the entire family. We were treated like guests of honor. We truly cannot recommend this place enough!

Exceptional”

Besides the fact that the place is difficult to find at first, especially at 2 am, everything was perfect during our stay. Big comfy bed, nice personnel, great location (close to the center but far enough not to hear it)

Best value for money with location and staff”

Room was good size, bed big and very comfortable. Staff very kind, lovely and helpful. Breafkast was good. Quiet location just behind city centre. Thank for lovely stay

Good location ”

Nice place and worth for money. The host was super helpful with things around, specially any good deals, cheap tickets to go to Fanxipan tour. We enjoy this place very much and would highly recommend to anyone.

No power during winter for whole night”

Location It is remote and even local driver cannot find the place. No one pick up the phone at the hotel when called to ask for directions. Found place after 1 hour and driver said given address is not correct. Room Stayed in room 203. No power from check-in at 6.30pm till the next day. Temperature was 6degC at night. Only 1 thin blanket in room. Asked the owner when there will be power, he keep replying "I don't know". He turned on the diesel generator outside the room for emergency lights only. Even generator was turned off at night, leaving whole place in pitch darkness. Check-in Owner kept our passport for his security, in a drawer accessible to the public, please beware. Facilities No heater due to no power. Summary This is a home converted into hotel and owner is running the hotel and he has to go to cook your breakfast, leaving your passport vulnerable. Checked-out after 1 night as owner don't know if there is power for the 2nd night.

Very cheap and clean room with cabinet and nice shower, fridge, water, tv, mini bar and big bed with good mattress.

La chambre a des odeurs d’humidité constante. L’hotel Est d’une propreté remarquable. Le personnel très courtois.

Great stay ”

Le propriétaire est au petit soin, souriant et très agréable. Nous avons été surclassé dans une chambre supérieure (nous avions réservé un standard), très spacieuse, avec un lit confortable et une belle salle de bain. On s'est senti comme à la maison car tout est fourni dans la chambre (chaussons, boissons, bouilloire, gel douche...). Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon. Un super hotel à recommander !

Sehr netter Gastgeber, liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Tolle Lage, in max. 5 Minuten ist man am See. Tickets für die Fandipangondel bekommt man auch am Hotel. War das schönste Zimmer mit den besten Betten auf unserer Vietnamreise.

Nơi nghỉ lý tưởng”

Mình đã ở vài nơi ở Sapa, tuy nhiên khách sạn lần này để lại ấn tượng nhiều nhất về tình cảm, sự thân thiện của Mr. Thành chủ nhà. Địa điểm mất 5 phút đi bộ là tới trung tâm (cá nhần mình thích điều này). Phòng ốc sạch sẽ, đầy đủ tiện nghi. Bữa ăn sáng được chủ nhà chuẩn bị hết sức chu đáo. Đi du lịch ở đâu thì đối với mình ấn tượng rất quan trọng đến từ nơi ở. Highly recommend các bạn du lịch cặp đôi ơi đây!!!! :D
