I always stay here when I'm doing my business travelling, and most of the time more than 5 nights in a row. The staff treat me like a family, especially Mr Tamba who is the manager of the breakfast time at the restaurant. This hotel is one of a kind, and I hope it continues to be a wonderful home for in Medan.

There are several shopping malls near the hotel (Sun Plaza, Center Point, and Podomoro City), a public park (Lapangan Benteng), and Little India - where you can find amazing food - are all in quick drive distance. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and everything is well-coordinated. The view is awesome, the parking space is spacious, and the food is marvelously delicious.

Our second stay with Santika. The hotel has a good location, going to malls by Grab is cheap. We are well aware that there is no fridge in the room after our first stay, so we are prepped. The wardrobe is open concept and not a large one, room is clean but small. Good for short stay. They have nice breakfast and pool as well (did not have the chance to use this time round, but we did use it during our first stay). The hotel concierge service was excellent as they helped us to keep our trolley luggage for two nights after check out (we need to head to parapat and by boat to lake toba), so we took stuff we needed in a sling luggage which makes so much easier for us instead of lugging the trolley luggage. I had a comfortable stay in this hotel. Room was very good. Breakfast spread was excellent. As i am vegetarian, specially vegetable fried rice was made for me. It is having a nice Swimming pool. I had a nice Balinese Massage there ( Thanks a lot to Ms Reena). Highly recommended

We only stay a night after returned from Lake Toba. The check in and check out were so efficient and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. The only complain was the shower water pressure, it took ages to take a shower with hair wash.
