Soooooo much bad quality pizza and the tropical one was a shame, 2 small pieces of pinneapple in the all pizza. Halo Halo also terrible, not fresh fruits.

Good place to stay in santander”

basically has everything you'll need. ac , food, pool and beach. prepare for the mosquitoes though and lilo (mini waterwhirls) careful when swimming. food is okay

Great Staff”

The beach was really nice, clear crystal waters, but we experience a bit of itchiness so we were not in the water for a long time. They said it's seasonal, so we were there in the wrong time of the year. But the staff was polite, helpful and kind.

Good hotel with noise problem”

This hotel has a pleasant staff and decent restaurant, and would normally merit 3-4 stars. But I got little sleep there because of its proximity to the main access road for Ceres buses and heavy trucks. Frequent loud noise througout the night got worse when at 06:30am, the hotel inexplicably blasted recorded music from centrally- placed, large speakers, amplified to point where the walls vibrated. This may sound bizarre, and indeed it was.

Probably the best place we've stayed in Santander by far.”

I didn't expect much at first since I know this is a simple resort on the southern-most tip of Cebu which is not really that famous compared to other towns with direct tourist attractions like Oslob, etc. Well, our experience was far better than I expected and we enjoyed our stay very much! Simple place to stay and chill, you can certainly forget the busy city life for a moment. We now have a new favorite in Santander (previously, we loved Tropara)! Food is good but not great while the price is not expensive, it ain't cheap either but hey, you're on the tip of Cebu, you don't have much options to dine so I would say it's fair enough. The best part for us is that, you can have fresh catch fish from local fishermen and have it grilled by "Manang" at the beach front. Not only you saved for food, but it is an absolute freshness plus you helped local communities earn a living. Beach is as expected, pebbles and rocks! But the water is very pristine, great for snorkelling. Just be very careful, the sea current can get scary strong and it is highly "kantilado" - it gets very deep in a very few steps.

Much better after Covid”

My wife and Kids chose to go there for a break for 2 Nights. Obviously there were restrictions due to Covid-19 but the resort was generally open. The Kids pool was not very clean but they sorted that after it was mentioned. Two rooms booked for 5 - My wife stayed in what was a basic room with baby granddaughter. She offered to mop the floor as it was too dirty for the baby. Not so good. The staff were ok and were willing to change the room but did not offer upgrade as they said the rooms were taken. There was nobody else on the resort, and upon leaving it was noted that the 'new' section was filled by at least 5 incoming guests. This was a frustration, but saying that the resort is cute and the beach across the road is pleasant it was a good experience for the Grandkids as soon as they hit the pool and beach. Breakfast is plated and foods are small portioned. Middle marks for now, but to be fair, it will probably be much better to go there after the pandemic. Overall 7/10.
