Sammuk Condo”

Sammuk is close to Bangkok and in the only quiet waterfront area in Bang Saen. This place is a condo, not a hotel, so do not expect amenities. The room is very large, with a truly amazing view of the water. The property is directly on the water, but does not have a beach, since the shore is rocky and used for shellfish harvesting. The balcony is spectacular. The room itself was not so great. It was fully outfitted, but dirty and ill kept. Everything in the bathroom leaked, was ant infested and it was impossible to stand in the bathtub/shower if you are over 6 feet tall. This being said, it was the best trip of many to Bang Saen, since it was quiet and noise is a huge problem along the beach road in town. The roof pool was small, but nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We will repeat for sure.

perfect location with great helps!”

First we (2 adults + 7 teenagers) arrived there around 7pm.,we were scared because of the outside building appearance. The owner and staff supported us with great helps. As soon as we got into the rooms, we forgot what it looks like from outside. The room faced to the ocean with great seaview, fully furnished, superbig size of balcony, peaceful and lots of privacy. We definitely love to go back there again and again! By the way the hotel doesn't have food served as breakfast, lunch or dinner, but there are plenty of fresh seafood restaurants nearby. Moreover the place is easy reach to the higest point of sammuk moutain.

Good view but so the hotel looks very old ”

We were there for a night. The hotel is located on Sammuk hil so that they have a beautiful sea view but it's quite scary because of the hotel very old.

Acceptable but need to think before going again”

The location of the hotel right on the beach is the biggest and probably the only advantage of this place. The room was fantastically decorated with all amenities but did not have wireless internet access. The ocean view was simply breathtaking and relaxing. The rooftop swimming pool was a disappointment. The hotel is located close to several popular restaurants and the surrounding Sammuk hill is famous for having hundreds of monkeys. The hotel is seriously understaffed (I saw just 1 or 2 employees working in the shabby office downstairs), there is no restaurant within the hotel - not even a minimart, no room service, no breakfast and nothing which should attract a family with young children. It is just an acceptable hotel and will need to think twice or more before going back again. But, this is a perfect place for a short relaxing trip where you can look at the ocean from your bed.

Great location ”

sammuk resort is located in bangsaen on a slope of a small cape next to the sea. the surrounding was scenic, quiet & beautiful woody areas, cliff and ocean front. many wild mokeys roam around. highlight was its balcony with sea view.room was equipped with microwave, refrig, and some plates. no restaurant. very quiet & secluded but not far from bangsaen beach community. the building was well painted and loooked ok but situated next to a very old and run down bldg. so probably made some people misundersood. quite a distance if you need to walk to restuarants. there is one small local eatery nearby though.

Vry nice room for those who are independent”

We loved this place, but if you do not have a car or a motorbike you will feel stuck. The room was on the 7th floor and we had a great view of the ocean and the village on the peninsula. The room is very clean but the hotel looks unkempt outside. The pool didn't seem to have much chlorine in it and it had a grimy feel. The surrounding area has some great restaurants but remember there is no food served at the hotel.

Beautiful Sea view and good price”

First of all, apologize for my poor English 1. Self service hotel (There are only check in-out service) 2. Since the hotel is on the hills and pretty far from bus station, you should have your own car 3. Beautiful Sea view and good price

Looks old at outside but do not disappoint”

Reasonable price with new interiored room. Staff was really kind. And ocean view was awsome. Look old at outside, but inside is really modern with new interior.

Nice room, great ocean view”

This is not a hotel. It is a self serviced apartment. There are people who greet you at the parking lot under the building and show you the room. The rest is yours; great privacy indeed. We had a family room with two double beds. The room was very nice and according to my son, it was like a different world from the outside. This apartment is around 1.5 km. from Lam Tan pedestrian market. Good sea food restaurants are everywhere.

Good hotel for money and location”

Room price was interesting. Hotel was old however its room was great. It has small kitchen so you can buy food & drink and enjoy them in room or at its terrace with sea view. This hotel was near night market.

Old Hotel Bad Environment”

Sammuk Hotel is good in term of view. You can have sea view room with good price but hotel environment is bad. It seems that there is a few rooms on service but other room are on construction.

Big room with excellent sea view”

Like many other reviewers, i was caught by surprise by the exterior of the hotel. But When i went into the room, it is bigger and well furnished than I expected. I gotten a room on 7th floor which gave me a excellent sea view from the balcony. The place is very quiet. Suitable for couple seeking peaceful and quiet vacation.

Serene, couple, private”

Even though I stayed on weekend, not so many people here. It is pretty much like the rental apartment than resort. No breakfast provided, I dislike. But I like the room which is large, comfortable, and equipped. It has bath tub, and balconies, of course Sea view. There is the kitchen area, but you have to buy food to prepare by yourself. Any couple want to avoid the city life and to spend their own private holidays, I'd suggest.

Large room with great view in neglected condo!”

It is exactly what I expected from old condo .. no more no less. I guess, the right price for this place would be something below 1000. The view is good, the place is quiet, the beach as well as condo is neglected. The hit water heater did not work well so, it is very unlikely you enjoy a buthtub. The place is quiet however, the condo built without soundproofing thus, in case your neighbors are having party you will be in trouble.

It was quiet place next to the beach with a gorgeous view as our room window faced the sea and the room was so big even though it was studio unit. There was sightseeing spot and fancy/local restaurant nearby. Love it! Will definitely go back again!

Good location and fantastic view”

It was hard to find the hotel using google map and the entrance is very narrow and hotel exterior looked really old. This place is like a service apartment though. Located near Sammook view point with little private beach where we can do some fishing, so we enjoyed it. Considered no service in the hotel like restaurant or where you can get food nearby but there are some nice restaurants for 2 mins drive. No public transport in the area so best to drive. Room is big and comfortable, at the beginning water was yellow so we leave water tab on till the water cleared and looked clean. Good value for money, we had good time there.

Resort is a little bit old but our room was renewed, clean and comfortable. Piscine is nice and clean Restaurant at walking distance Ang Bangsaen beach at 5 min driving
