Nice place for a budget traveler”

The hotel is conveniently located near Ben Thanh Market and Street Food Market so you can go there anytime you want. Most Ho Chi Minh City attractions are near, quite a walking distance, but are walkable from the hotel. The room we got was clean and were cleaned everyday. They give out free bottled water daily as well. The only room for improvement that I see is the wifi strength. Because while it is available, it is weak inside the room. We can only get a decent wifi access in the dining area or if we open our door.

Saigon Sparkle offers the best location for exploring District 1. Aside from being a 1 minute walk to Ben Tranh market, it is within walking distance of places to see, shop and eat at. The breakfast buffet is enjoyable and can fill you up for a days worth of activities. The service was excellent, Jasmine spoke great english and the staff really made sure you were looked after. We got a triple deluxe room and our toiletries, towels and water were replenished and changed everyday. The hotel is secure and has 24 hour staff on duty at reception. Had a great stay and would definitely book again when in Saigon/HCMC.

Great little hotel in Ho Chi Min”

Great location, right near to the market and easy walking distance from the main city attractions. The family room is actually pretty spacious for a small hotel. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable especially the super soft lovely pillows to rest your head upon after a long day of sightseeing! Breakfast options were very nice and more than adequate to fill a hungry tummy. The food is replenished by the attendant immediately as it runs out. The breakfast room is very small, so unless you get there when breakfast first starts there may be a short wait for a table. The staff are very nice and friendly. We have booked another night for when return to Ho Chi Min.

Exceptional”

Strategic location where it is locating at the central of district 1, it just walking distance to the local flea market - benh thanh market, and surrounded with local foods restaurants and western foods restaurants. Security purpose also good, as there is in-room safety box. But the only weakness is that the water heater might not be working if u back to the room late in the evening. Overall is beyond my eexpectation for a 2 starred hotel.

Simple and Clean Hotel”

I stayed here on a trip with my friends in Feb 2020. The hotel was easy to find in District 1 and located in a very central location of District 1. My friends and I had no issues navigating to and from the hotel to many of the tourist hot spots in District 1. The hotel is a simple and clean choice for it's price and one would not feel bad about this choice made given it's convenient location and pricing.

Pros. The hotel is conveniently located near halal eateries. Within walking distance to Ben Thanh market, a shoppers paradise. Tour agencies a plenty nearby so very convenient to book local tours. Rooms are spacious and clean. Value for money. Hotel allowed late check out which is much appreciated.

first time stay in Ho chi minh and found the hotel to be nice and in a good location. Nice bakery across the road. Breakfast is basic but ok. Staff are smiling and keen to help which was nice.

Great stay!”

Near the Ben Thanh Market super walking distance. A 20 minute walk to most of the attractions. The staffs are accomodating, hospitable and also helpful from the arrival up to check out. The Breakfast is good! Totally worth it and lots of varities to choose from. The room is clean, complete amenities, there is also ready drinks that you can pay upon check out. There is also a free umbrella to use as well a weighing scale after you check out.

Great place to stay”

Ben Thanh Market is literally at the corner of the hotel. Everything was walking distance including the War Remnants Museum, Independence Palace and the Notre Dame Cathedral. We spent almost nothing on transportation except for the grab taxi to and from the airport. The staff are friendly and good with English.

Excellent location”

The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and clean. Near the Ben Than Market, City Hall and Saigon Center. Buffet breakfast but the dining area is too small (5 tables only if I'm not mistaken).

Nice cosy hotel”

The hotel is nice with friendly staff. Location is around ben thanh market, lots of nice food around, highly accessible. The breakfast may not be a feast, but to me, it is alright, more like comfort food and help me save money too for other things. I highly recommend this hotel.

Good location but average room”

The room is acceptable, given the price and age of the hotel. However, we were initially given a room at level 10. It is at the highest floor (same floor as the kitchen and dining area for breakfast which is just 20 steps away from the room). The room seems more like a makeshift room and it was not on a lift landing floor. You have to take the lift to level 9 and climb up the flight of stairs to level 10. As it was just next to the common toilet and kitchen, it was noisy during the day especially during brekafast/post-breakfast. The aircon in the room was not cold even after setting the temperature at the minimum. We got the hotel staff to assist, which he did swiftly but could not do anything about it. We requested to change to another room but had to top-up a few bucks as the room we had subsequently was a bigger room. The bigger room was a lot more decent. Conclusion: decent hotel but avoid the room at level 10.

Worth it!”

The location is the best of all, which is less then 1km to Ben Thanh market, plus very easy to find. The place is clean + staffs are friendly. The bed & pillows are really soft + comfy! The 2 complaints are the room was smelled with cigarettes even though I booked a non-smoking one, and the bathroom is quite dark with just 1 light bulb!

Compare to another hotel. This one was the best”

Around the market, this hotel is about$30. Good price. And good location. All staffs there were so kind. Little old furniture. But sheets , pillows and room was clean. My special thanks to yong and jang. All staffs there.

Communication - Zero”

(Disclaimer -My reviews with the stars is considered void as I never got to use the room.) On Sept 25, I made an error and booked for Sept 25-26, 2018, Family room. I already booked few days before for 4 nights for triple room. In as much as I wanted a bigger room, I booked for the wrong date - Sept 25-26, 2018. I called Agoda, but they said they can only cancel it if your hotel agreed. They suggested instead to ask for rebooking. I tried reaching your website, messenger, FB, but I did not get any response. Therefore, I know I am charged already by my credit card company. How can customer service be at its best when reaching out to you is improbable? In as much as I want to believe I made the right decision in choosing your hotel for my family, but at this point, I am not sure anymore if I should keep my original booking scheduled on Feb 22-26, 2019, Triple Room with Breakfast

Great location!”

We came buy public bus from the airport. The hotel is easy to locate from bus stop. The moment we arrived, we were welcome by the hotel staffs. They were accommodating and helpful. Great service! The room were big and comfy. The hotel location is just next door to the Malaysian street and Ben Thenh market. Would totally come again! Sadly, we had to leave at 6am for our morning 7am Mui Ne bus. We didn’t get the chance to try their breakfast as it starts at 7am.

Fantastic Location ”

The hotel is in a fantastic locations the rooms are huge and comfortable with excellent Wi-Fi. The breakfast is nothing to get excited about but ok the view is pretty good at breakfast. The day staff are very friendly and helpful. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance. I'd stay here again.
