Great rooms at good price. staff are amazing. Nice comfortable beds and good bright rooms. lots of restaurants around, 30 seconds walk to Saigon ferry station. Highly recommended

The hotel is well managed. It is clean & tidy with reasonable price. I highly recommend if you are going around district two with an economical price.

How to be ripped off .”

I was staying at the Sai Gon River Hotel last week on booking ID 305435424, my reservation ended and I decided to stay for 3 more nights . I booked on Agoda with booking ID 306620648 but was denied my choice to pay by card . I had to pay the hotel by cash. Fortunately I got a receipt for 1,056,000vnd. Later the Sai Gon River Hotel claimed a 'No show'. Subsequently AGODA made an autocratic decision to debit my card number which one has to supply just in case one hurls the TV into the swimming pool . Now either the Sai Gon River hotel is in total chaos over the weekend while they rent out their many 'short term rental rooms' to young lovebirds (or ugly guys with call girls on their arm) or they didn't like my review on the subject and the total lack of hot water because of the volume of traffic through the doors on a rainy weekend. AGODA in the meantime is impossible to contact too .

Realised it's a hotel in the red-light district ”

Only got to know when I arrived that it's a hotel among many others in the red-light district. Bed sheets are a little dirty. If you don't mind the above, then go for it.

I spent the last 7 days in this motel near my new work location. I was spending most of my time at office but I was clearly unhappy to go back to hotel every evening... The staff (especially the reception desk lady) is very unwelcoming and nobody can speak English. You have to be ready to take most of your showers with cold water. Also, don't expect your room to be cleaned, even in one week, they did it once because I insisted a lot. The place is very noisy and you'll be able to hear the "night ladies" living in the hotel like if they are in your own room. Last part, they tried to rip my money off at the check-out... I had fully paid the 7-days stay at Agoda booking and they asked me to pay it again, pretending they cannot find my payment confirmation. Well, never again!

First the lady took a picture of my passport with her cellphone which i thought was odd. When i left she asked me to pay her again even though she checked me in the day before and knew id already paid. Based on 9ther reviews i was prepared for this. It was obvious that she was trying to take advantage of a foreigner. I would not recommend the hotel.

I was in Saigon for business trip .. 10 days .. end af April . I knew this low cost hotel from few years .. Hotel is well located , clean and good value ! Enough for short Saigon visit trip when you just need a conforable and clean room .for sleeping. i will recommend and i will not hesitate to re-book it by the future .

Outstanding value for money ”

Nothing flashy--though the larger than usual HDTV was a bonus--but doesn't lack any basic essentials. Clean room, soft bed, clean linens (changed whenever requested) nice little balcony. For the price, quite unbeatable. A short walk or Grab from lots of interesting things to do. I'd stay there again.

ベトナムぽい部屋です。 全体的にきれいなので外国人でも十分大丈夫かと思います。 トイレにペーパーはありませんのでご注意。 （ベトナムだと普通のおトイレです。ウォシュレットがわりにお尻を流してそのままパンツを履くのでしょうね） 若干wifiが弱いですが使えます。 少し歩くとレストランも多いので便利だと思います。

Lúc đầu book phòng có cửa sổ để thoải mái hơn nhưng lễ tân lại sắp cho phòng ngay tầng 1 sát lề đường, cửa sổ hướng ra mặt đường, định mở ra cho thoáng nhưng lại nằm ngay mặt đường, lúc đấy vừa đến hơi mệt nên ko để ý, cảm giác treo đầu dê bán thịt chó vì có cũng như không lại mang cảm giác không an toàn vì ở phòng cửa sổ to lại gần mặt đường
