Clean, Comfortable, Cheap, Convenient, Nice Staff”

it took us a while to find the location of the hotel but it was worth it. we arrived very early at the hotel, we planned to leave our luggages first and come back to check in but Truc and Duc let us have the room right away. room was very clean and spacious. the toilet/shower was also clean, hot (or should i say warm) water works. internet connecion was ok. also the tv and aircon. Duc and Truc helped us to book Cuchi Tunnel, Mekong Delta tours and water puppet show. they also helped us to rent a motorbike. all are cheap. Duc was very honest to return our change, he said we paid more than we should. we were also able to change money through the hotel with a very good rate. i highly recommend staying at this hotel. i am planning to visit Ho Chi Minh with my family and i'm looking to book our stay at Saigon Inn Hotel again.

Awesome place”

It was my first time traveling abroad. I had chosen Saigon Inn as I had read positive reviews from Agoda. The location is great, at the heart of the city. I truly appreciate their staff for being so nice esp by letting me in earlier than my check in time and not only that Luke had gave me useful map and some tips on how to navigate the place by myself without spending a penny. Good job. Excellent customer service by going above and beyond. I booked for 1 bed dormitory - mixed, everything went pretty well. The room is very clean and have 2 bathrooms in it. Lastly, the breakfast is perfect. They packed me a take away breakfast (BanhMi/coffee/banana and bottled water) which was totally amazing. I couldn't thank Saigon Inn enough. I would probably be staying there when I get the chance to return to HCMC. Thank you Luke, Stow (unsure with the spelling) and rest of Saigon Inn staff. Kudos. More power.

Amazing, always stay when visiting Ho Chin Minh!”

Everything about this hotel is great! Everything modern and really clean, great shower and really comfy bed! Staff are amazing, so genuinely friendly and really helpful too,really wanting you to enjoy your time and booked really good trips and bus trips for us too, also giving great local advice. Location great, still right in backpacker/tourist centre of Ho Chi Minh very close to where most buses pick up and drop off- but nicely tucked away( in quieter bit)in some really lovely allies where you can eat amazing and cheap local food, with many friendly neighbours as you walk through- we loved it! Such good value for money we cant fault it at all and have stayed here everytime come to Ho Chi Minh, and we will be back!

New, clean rooms in the centre of district 1”

Booked six nights here for our arrival in Ho Chi Minh City but stayed 12 nights because we had to arrange some things. Very pleasant stay, hotel is brand new, comfortable bed, daily thorough cleaning of the room, breakfast for 1 US dollar. Overall good option in the middle of district 1 but in a quiet alley.

Wow what a place. Taxi dropped us off along Pham Ngu Lao and instantly you are surrounded by the hustle and bustle of this back packer part of town. Down a small alley we went to this newly built Saigon Inn. Along the alley you can see and feel locals living their lives. I noticed how quiet it was as I entered this very clean hotel. Met and made welcome by a charming couple who run the Inn. Tickets to Nha Trang and tour to Hoi An they helped to secure them. My room was a superior room very clean and bright. I have stay in this part of town along main streets before and the noises and pollutions from all the buses and motorbikes would kept me up all night. At Saigon Inn because I were in the alley i slept sometime until midday without a sound. The hotel is extremely reasonable and great value for money. After a long day you want to be some where clean, pleasant and quiet then I would recommend this place to all.

Great budget place in the heart of Saigon”

The Saigon Inn is a great place for the budget traveller. It's in the heart of the backpacker area of Saigon with tons of restaurants, bars and street food nearby. The owner is awesome. She has a lot of knowledge of the area, city and gave us lots of helpful tips planning out our motorbike trip up to Hanoi. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay and they were both clean and nice for a hostel. The rooms are a bit cramped but you can't beat the overall value for the price. I'll stay here again if I come back to Saigon. It also includes free breakfast made to order!! No joke, one of the guests had a very specific breakfast request including a very large number of eggs and the owner was very accommodating.

Comfortable, clean and cheap ”

Really love our stay in Ho Chi Minh. The Owners are a couple, they are very friendly. I also agree with other posters that it's not easy to find the hotel as it's in a small lane and you need to make a lot of turns inside to find it. However, you will find it anyway when you walk in the lane because their neighbors will guide you. Cheap but clean and comfortable accommodation.

Unbelievably cheap for the location and comfort!”

Supposedly there were 3 of us traveling, so I booked a room good for 3 which was the dormitory room. The 3-beds room had 2 toilets, so my friend and I was able to take a bath at the same time, saving us minutes of preparing. What I love about the place was it looked and felt like home. They also provide free 500-ml bottled water per person everyday. I will definitely stay here when I visit Ho chi Minh again. :)

An absolute insider tipp!”

The Saigon Inn was a real surprise. We booked it because of the many positive comments and I can now say I totally agree. The hotel is a bit hidden in a side street and some chickens will cross your way. :-) Inside the hotek everything is super clean and nice. The hosts are so lovely and help you with anything. We had a room with a window and although we had it closed the whole time, it was quite loud - especially in the night but it is fine if you have ear plugs with you. The breakfast is amazing and worth the stay. To sum it up - a nice hotel with amazing breakfast and lovely breakfast for a good value of money. We will come back!! :-)

Sleek and modern little hotel tucked away from the frenetic hustle and bustle of Saigon in a maze of back alleys - but very easy to find if you get the map from their facebook page and still very close to all the action. staff are very helpful and attentive. have a wander up to the little terrace upstairs that looks out on to the myriad of buildings and alleys that hide behind the main streets in Ho Chin Minh, quite a sight - especially as the sungoes down.

Fantiastic hotel in the heart of district 1”

We stayed 4 brilliant nights at the Saigon Inn Hotel - couldn't be happier with the hotel. Fast WIFI, spotless rooms, right in the heart of the action but not a sound in the room at night time. Standard room is a little on the small side, though pretty normal in Asia - book the deluxe room for extra space if you can get your hands on it - well worth the extra!

Best 2 star Hotel in Saigon”

This hotel best reminds me of the Filipino culture. The host, Tita Mae is very accomodating and hospitable. They upgraded our rooms from standard to superior room for free. Breakfast is superb, fresh fruits, bread and sausage. She even gave us the hot sauce that we like. I will definitely back in this hotel. Nothing compares from other hotels I have stayed in other countries I'd been too. Thumbs up to Saigon Inn! We love Tita Mae! See you very soon!!!! :)

Amazing stay at the Saigon Inn Hotel! The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room is comfortable, very clean and has everything that you need. Good Wifi and 40 options for breakfast! Overall it was great value for money and I would stay there again for sure on my next trip to Vietnam.

This hotel is down an alley just off the main road in the backpacker quarter in District 1. It’s clean, the staff are really friendly and there are 50 menu options for breakfast. Showers were perfect. Standard private doubles have aircon, kettles, hairdryers and TVs, as well as toiletries provided (shampoo for men and women, shower gel, conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste). Superior rooms are equipped with a reasonably priced minibar, with enough room in the fridge for a couple of your own purchases. When my boyfriend was too ill to come down to breakfast, I ate mine while staff prepared his and I took it up to him on a tray. Laundry was done on the same day for $1/kg.

Saigon Inn is one of the best hostels I've ever been and I'd recomend it to anyone. Few people in the room, max 5 and 2 bathrooms to share, everything perfectly clean and really friendly staff. You just have to behave accordingly and you'll get a smile every morning plus an amazing breakfast. I said breakfast experience because you get 140 different breakfast sets, from milk with cereals to noodles with chicken and if you are in a hurry they'll prepare it to take away! I just missed it once and I regreted the whole day, so don't miss yours!

What can I say, if you are feeling homesick, this guesthouse will make you feel right at home! Right in the heart of the backpacker area but would suit any traveller.. So friendly and helpful, and very genuine people. They will book you very cheap tours and help you out wherever they can. The rooms are very clean and brand new and the aircon is the best. The beds are clean and comfy too. Only a short walk to all the best food and cheap drinks. Enjoyed my stay at Saigon Inn, 5 stars from me! *****

Exceptional”

We were reluctant to stay longer when we entered the alley. We thought it wasn't safe. But then we were greeted by a friendly staff and entertained by the energetic manager. We felt at home and decided to stay there. We booked 2 rooms in 5 nights. The location is quiet. Service is excellent. Highly recommend to all travellers. Breakfast is a WOW... They also sent us to the airport free of charge. They even packed our breakfast. Kudos to all the Saigon Inn staff.

I had a really nice few days in the saigon inn hotel. Its a very nice, cosy hotel, with warm, friendly staff. Definitely worth staying here, great location too on pham ngu lao. Really close to markets and such.
