I'm booking 2 rooms. No wifi in the room, the room still using manual key. just because the hotel's age factor is long enough so there needs to be a little improvement on the various items that are in the hotel. overall the service of this hotel is good enough. breakfast with a menu that is quite varied and tasty. there is only need a little repair and update on the goods at the hotel. overall quite satisfactory.

Pros? Non Cons? A lot 1000 words isn't enough to describe. Room request isn't fulfilled, giga long checkin time, dirty bedroom floor, the receptionist keep bothering me about my id cause he forgot to ask when i checked in, ask double bed get twin instead, force to go back from second to first floor cause the fucking stupid mistake not paying attention to guest request, dirty water, and you name all bad shit in a hotel you'll find it here :) just don't book unless you're poor as fuck and an absolute dumbass

Nice hotel, freindly staff”
although dated this hotel was generally clean. the room was very spacious with own bathroom. the staff were very helpful and friendly.it was not very central but a short taxi ride into town costing. the breakfast was simple but nice enough. we would stay again. we used malang as a base for visiting mt bromo at sunrise, which was fantastic. the reception staff made our reservation for the 'shuttle bus' for our onward journey to yogakarta, an excellent door to door service costing although long and bumpy also interesting scenery on route.

me & my husband really happy since the first time we saw the room, it was massive room which is very nice. the food was good too, for me who originally indonesian it was nice food & my husband agreed with me. all the staff was so friendly & very help full. but there was view thing that concerned us, the shower was cold, because the hot water doesn't worked & there's no tea or coffee as a compliment. overall its a good hotel...if we visit malang again we would love to stay there.

Nicely arranged hotel a little bit away from the center of town but a great pool and garden,and brakfast,a nice respite from the busy town. A new historicaal Museum is oipening up a few blocks away. Nice staff

i've stayed in this hotel with my family (me, wife, and our 7 month baby) and the place just couldn't be better for such a price at holiday season. we'll be definitely referring this hotel for our friends and acquaintances.

Nice clean garden hotel”
hotel is a bit far 10-15min from the city center but taxi's are cheap, costs 2-3 euro's. breakfast is basic but ok. we had also a lunch ala cart. basic indonesian food but the taste was great. friendly staff and helpfull. clean big rooms with tv ac and fridge. basic bathroom. swimmingpool is also clean. only a bit noise from construction work next door during day hours.

+ Good location, many cafes or restaurants near the hotel. + Near to Matos (Malang Town Square) - I'm booking 2 rooms, one room is okay, but the other room the Air Conditioning is not cool, and the water closet cant work properly, the water flushing system is damage, so the water run out all the time. - Lack of lighting in the room.

Cheap, reasonably cheerful ”
The rooms are a good size but they're quite tired and old. A bit fusty in there but it's ok to get a decent sleep. The pool looks decent but it was under maintenance the whole time i was there. The only things I really enjoyed about this hotel are it's central location and the food from the cafe on the front. Oh, and you are doing the bromo trip from here, they will make you a packed lunch instead in exchange for your breakfast voucher...this was pretty amazing actually!

Great hotel for kids”
These is a hotel that is popular with Javanese families and wedding parties. It's a little bit out of the town centre, so you really need a car, but apart from that it's excellent value for money. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of (Javanese) food, and the swimming pool was nice and clean. The rooms are big, and very clean, and there's hot water in the morning and the evening. We usually stay at the Splendid Inn, but for an extra a night this is much nicer (and far less creepy).

Lovely Hotel”
The staff were always smiling and helpful but english comunication was sometimes difficult. The pool area was delightful. the food served at the hotel during dinner is superb. However breakfast is just average. The only downside was I had a couple of cold showers. There was also some different floor levels in the main room and bathroom so you had to be careful walking around. The hotel not really close to the main town area.
