To start with, the entire staff at S Hotel treats you in the manner of a 5 star Hotel. They are very agreeable, attentive and kind. This includes everyone from the front desk, to the security personnel, to Housekeeping. One of the housekeeping staff named Helbert made a beautiful heart from towels on me and my fiance's bed; he decorated it with our pictures and made us feel very special. This is just another example of the kind and personal treatment you receive at this fine Hotel.The bed is king size and very comfortable. The aircon is ice cold. The linens are white and clean, the comforter is cozy. The room smells and feels like new. The bathroom is immaculate. The neighborhood is nice and there are two great barbecue restaurants, several bakery's and a 7-11 nearby. In short the stay couldn't be any better and I was made to feel like a welcome guest. I have stayed here at S Hotel many times and I always feel like I am staying at my second home. I have also stayed at luxury hotels both here in Cebu City and abroad, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, I have never received better treatment and had a more comfortable stay than I have at S hotel. New and clean hotel! ”

Pros: -Super clean hotel since it's fairly new -LOVE the big queen beds. Super comfy. -Location is right in the heart of Cebu City. -Wifi is pretty fast -They have very courteous staff -Lots of restaurants around the area Cons: -No mini-fridge (Not really a con since it's a budget hotel but I've been to some budget hotels where they have a mini-fridge and a hair dryer even. -Only one con which drives me a bit sad is their TOWELS! Geez. I would've given this hotel a 10-star rating if not for their towels. They are so old and worn out! You can actually just dispose of them. There's this one towel we have that was a bit shorter than the others. They probably cut the top part of it. They're not even advisable to use as rugs since they're super worn out. Please change your towels. Please! But overall, great great experience with this hotel. I would definitely go back but I just need to make sure I bring my own towel since theirs is so nasty looking.

S Hotel is amazing. The friendly and helpful staff are welcoming. Clean and tidy room, bed very clean and comfortable, hot and cold shower with excellent water pressure, nice clean bathroom, good WiFi, bottled water and boiling jug provided. So far this is the best hotel out of the 20+ hotels we've ever stayed at in the Philippines. Next time we come back to Cebu we will be staying at S Hotel again.

One of the best hotel experience and value for money! ”

Great location! It is near the center and convenient to everything. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. They cleaned our room for 2nd day though we did not ask for it. The only cons is they do not offer breakfast but there is a cafe beside the hotel. Overall it was a great stay for me, my bf and our moms as first time tourists in cebu city.

The hotel was located near the center of Cebu City so it was accessible to taxi cabs and jeeneys if you'rere in a tight budget. 😊 The room was not as I expected it to be, it was quite small for 3 persons and luggages. House keeping was great, the room was well cleaned. FOOD/ROOM SERVICE: BAD SERVICE! The Michael Angelo Cafè has a lousy service. Food was so-so and not enough food choices for breakfast. And you even have to wait for like an hour from the time you ordered it just to eat. They even ask you to change the breakfast you like just because it was still frozen? You can like get a hot water and soak it for a couple of minutes and you can cook it. The lady was not smiling too. I suggest you better get your own cafeteria or change where you get your food and room service. All in all our stay was great except the food. Will come back but will not include breakfast. 😊😁

Exceptional”

The hotel was very clean. Service very good...when you asked for something, it was sent to your room right away. You didn't have to call more than once as you do in other hotels. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is convenient. The only negative thing I could say is that you can hear voices of other people in the mornings from the hallway or adjacent rooms. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant. Will definitely stay again in future travels to Cebu.

One of the best”

We had to do work while we were at Cebu and good thing the internet connection in room was not just fast but stable also. Hotel is also just one jeepney ride away from attractions such as Magellan's Cross and Fort San Pedro. The rooms are clean and spacious but I wish they had a tea and coffee making facility. The staff are absolutely courteous and helpful.

Exceptional”

Super friendly & helpful staff. The rooms were great, however it may be better to request one that has a window - for view and ventilation purposes. The only minor issue about this hotel is faulty wifi in some rooms. All in all, I would definitely recommend others to stay at this establishment during their visit to Cebu

No frills - Value for money”

We just needed a place to stay for 2 days while i sorted out our plane tix mix up to go back home to MLA.. There were 4 adults and a 2.5 yr old in my party.. This is one of the few hotels that won't charge you extra for a 4 adults in a two x double bed room - though no windows. The room was clean though spartan - you will have to pay extra 200 if you wanted a ref (which we needed since we had a toddler) so i din't mind. I just paid 2k a night.. no frills, no breakfast, no facilities ... which again suited us. Location - in downtown Cebu City - close proximity to the malls (around P90 Grab).. but kinda far to walk specially with a toddler - public transport is just 10 steps away though. Overall - I would recommend - if you are looking for a no frills, clean, very friendly and helpful staff - place to stay.

Reasonable rates”

Booked this hotel primarily for the reasonable daily rate. Helpful staff. Booked 2 rooms. One room had a/c problem. Transferred to another room, and a/c problem solved. Pro - cheap, close to shopping mall Con - far from airport or port. Must leave early to avoid infamous Cebu traffic.

My family and I spent 2 nights in S Hotel and we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. The staff were so accommodating nice and approachable. They had a very clean room and very nice bathroom. Maybe they could provide a mini refrigerator inside the room and have their own restaurant for breakfast etc. we didn't wanna go far to have our breakfast but the restaurant beside the hotel was a little small and full of people at that time that's why we had to find some place. Good value for money”

Rented a room with two queen size beds. There was no window on our room though, but everything was clean. Staff were friendly, but when we were heading to our free breakfast in the nearby cafe, the receptionist failed to advise us that we need to get meal stubs from the front desk first, so I had to go back to get the stubs. Overall our stay was okay. Would recommend to a friend visiting Cebu.

Comfortable and Clean”

It was a 2 night stay in this hotel. Although we had a slight inconveniences in the parking but we had a safe one at the property owned vacant lot in front of the hotel. The parking lot needs to be improved. If the hotel plans to use it for parking allocation for guests, they need to repair the area. However, the hotel in general was reasonably affordable but exceedingly clean. I will definitely stay again during my cost cutting trip to Cebu.

Very accomodating Staff, Clean Room”

The room was spacious and clean. The staff greeted us and accomodate us immediately upon arrival . The guard welcome us with a smile. The location was near the rotonda were you can buy pasalubong also near a CNT Branch. The bathroom was clean and supplied with necessary things , the only problem for me is the bidet but nonetheless my family had a great stay at S Hotel. Thumbs up!
