I reserved a Deluxe Double Room in The Square for one night before take off at 08:15 AM next morning. Operator greeting me warmly in the midst of busy to serve the cliff dweller. He just need my complete name while I told him I have booked from agoda. After leave bail about IDR for a moment he give me a room key with access card for lift. There's no drop off zone. The car just park in basement than you pass through a lift to a lobby on 1st floor. LG, G, and UG Floor is arcade like cafe and mini market. Furniture's design is modern minimalist with access card for security to go higher floor. 7, 8, 16, and 17th floors are set to be Hotel and other as apartment. The room is nice, tidy, clean, relatively large with view to Surabaya city. One thing is beyond my estimate is there is mini bar and mini kitchen in a room. This is my first room that has hotplate electric and dishwasher tub, maybe because the theme is hotel apartment. Function of everything in the room is alright, good bed, bathroom and faucets, TV+remote, telephone, wifi, AC, lighting, refrigerator, and there is mecca direction for Muslims. Maybe one note from me about the vibration of AC compressor that placed outside room little felt on the bed in the silence of the night, but it does not matter. In the morning about 06:00 AM, the distance from the hotel to the airport about 20 minutes, because the hotel is close to the Rungkut Toll Gate.

It's a new hotel, so everything was really clean and neat. The Loby was beautiful and check in process was fast and efficient. All the staff were polite and helpfull. Air circulation in smoking room was not very good, the smoke and the smell stay too long, the exhaust fan power was not strong enough and the room had not enough ventilation. The breakfast buffet was taste ok, yet lacked of variation. I expected more since it's a 4 star hotel. I won't recommend the dinner buffet (paid for Rp 150.000,-). The taste was so average and the variation was not even half from the breakfast. The buffet looked full only because they spread the dessert all over the table. Summary : Plus : New Hotel, Cleanliness, Very Quiet, Clean Bathroom, Great Hot Shower, Comfort Bed and Pillows, Polite and Helpful Staff, Efficient Check in/out Minus : Location far from City, Food Variation, Air Circulation in Smoking Floor/Room, Connecting doors not sound proof. Still the best hotel in area.

It was one of the best hotel with affordable price, breakfast was good, room was clean and neat, the only problem was only the bathroom shower positions that need to be fix since there was no curtain to prevent the water that wet the whole bathroom floor. Other than that location is perfect and there is savoury bakery in the hotel that taste really good. Definitely will stay in this hotel again

For a three star hotel they had five star beds. The most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on and we usually stay at 5* hotels. We stayed overnight to connect with our flight out of Surabya. The staff we very efficient and friendly and the hotel was very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel. The pool deck while small was very nice. Great hotel at a very good price.

Stayed for 2 nights in 3rd week of May 2016. Hotel was supposed to be opened in April. Room tv connection was not setup and I had to call reception to get it fixed. Even then, only 4 cable channels (hbo, cinemax, nat geo and star sports). The rest were Indonesian channels. On my final day there, the tv signal went off totally. WiFi connection in room was terrible. It goes off every minute and speed was slow. Very disruptive to my work. Breakfast was basic local fare and little variety. Definitely no international/continental breakfast spread. Dining hall had only 6 tables. No room meal service. There is a gym and outdoor pool but the gym is not ready yet and pool seems to be out of bounds to hotel guests (only the condominum apartment residents can use the pool). This hotel has much to improve on. Poor location (unless wanting to go to Rungkut industrial area) and nothing in the vincinity. Only saving grace is the friendly hospitality staff. Will not return again.

Hotel location is in front of Plaza Marina, one of shopping center in Surabaya. Also the hotel's location was not too far from some culinary places in South Surabaya. Hotel was clean, but not too big. Also the room was small, but clean enough. Parking lot was not huge. Breaksfast menus also not too much, but taste was good. This is a budget hotel, so I recommend for someone who have a business trip and looking for a hotel around south Surabaya, this can be one of your best choices.

this establisment is actualy an apartment, located near rungkut industry, one of the main industrial estate in surabaya. the room is spacious with enough equipment to stay in. altough they prepare the stove at the kitchen, however they dont equip with proper equipment to use them. meaning, if you're staying there for business occasion, it would be great, definately you will eat outside. but dont worry, there are several restaurant, yet mostly tradidional for you to have your food, and the food court at the 2nd floor. just to add the facility, they have a swimming pool. but, please acknowlede, they dont have wifi and cable tv.

I was expecting it to be some sort of homestay-like inn, but it turned out to be more hotel-like and it was quite enjoyable. It has hot water shower and good soap dispenser. The housekeeping was done impeccably as well. There was a restaurant, too, but we didn't get to try the food because we were always eating out. If I wanted to stay in Surabaya again for with tight budget but in need of decent room with AC and hot shower, I'd always choose this place.

I booked through Agoda, and get superb price on Friday. This hotel have big room for executive type. comfort with big balcony, nice bathroom and bed. You will have news paper every morning but in local language. Quite close to Rungkut industrial estate therefore it is perfect for those who have business in surrounding area. This hotel have no gym or pool which is too bad for people who need work out after busy days. No entertainment or food nearby youve got to take taxi to find places for dining or fun

I went to surabaya with my friend. We stay here for 1 night, 1st thing is its budgeting comfotable hotel..!!! If you want to sightseeing around surabaya..you could walk 500meters accross the road to get bus (DAMRI) to Tanjung perak. The bus will pass : 1.surabaya zoo (its the leftside with surabaya icon : 'suro' (shark) and 'boyo' (crocodile)). 2.Taman bungkul (park) its very crowded at night. (the rightside) 3. Gramedia (the rightside) 4. Tunjungan plaza (its the centre of surabaya city) -on the leftside 5. Tanjung perak I went from siwalankerto(swk) to tunjungan plaza (TP) its cost idr 4000/person The best part is you can get to swk again by damri too.. The cheapest one.. Note: when i got the taxi from kenjeran to swk its cost idr 60.000

Taxi drivers will have to ask their way to this location but the hotel is outstanding in appearance. The environment is unpleasant as it is a very busy and congested light industrial area. However, taxis and cheap transport are plentiful. About USD4 for a taxi ride to city centre. Very nicely outfitted rooms for the price. Breakfast can be a pleasant surprise if you fancy Asian food. Staff very helpful. Strong wifi signal throughout. Taxi to airport T2 is about USD10 including toll, which is half the fare from the city centre, and with less of the crazy traffic to contend with.

Stayed here two times one night, second night was because I was satisfied the first time. Staff is really helpful. WiFi is excellent! Really really fast. The breakfast is also a very good deal 40000 rupia for buffet (the classical Asian buffet; rice, toast bread, soup, chicken nuggets etc.) If I would travel again in this direction I would stay again here, without a doubt.
