Stayed with big family, many upgrades after the renovation. The hotel's people are very friendly and polite, room service food is much better now, very good view to Bukit Kubu, still my favourite hotel in Brastagi.

Horrible!”
I Rudang in the file photo published in Agoda looked great but don't judge a book by its cover, as the picture was the administrative block. Rooms allocated to us were a distance away. Good the Bogey boys provided added help to avoid the walk in the rain over the distance. On entering the room it was presentable alright for the price we paid although we thought it was slightly on the higher side. But here came the shock. In such a cold raining weather we were definitely not wrong in expecting hot if not warm water for our shower. It never did come. So the 'technical' staff came to look at it and he told us to wait an hour b4 warm water would flow. we waited but it never came even till the next morning. Even worst, the shower was spoilt as water flowed over the shower and not thru it's 'holes'. Guess what when asked the technician had this to say ' this how the shower works '. Did he ever think I'm a Martian ! So the three of us, a child of 13, ended up having cold water bath. What a bitter experience to never can be forgotten. I would personally hold Agoda responsible for the calamities, if you like, that we went thru in Brestagi. I belief that they should check on the facilities and room conditions b4 publishing to be booked by innocent people like us who have got to pay to suffer!

Satisfaction accomplished ”
The location is strategic, easy to access. The room was big enough for two people, the bed was comfortable, the parking was free of charge, it's just that the wifi is only available at the hotel lobby, so we were out of internet for the whole period of staying here.

i got good price the night before i went to brastagi. facilities are okay (not so much) but all the staff and the service are all great. asked the housekeeping to change the towels and the response was quick. very near to the city center.

Stay at The Rudang Berastagi Hotel”
My stay there was good. I had registered for a trekking trip to see sunrise at the Sibayak hill. It started at 4 am from the hotel. So, I requested my breakfast to be packed for the trekking trip and I got the breakfast packed nicely for me. It was delicious when I ate at the top of the hill watching sunrise. The sky was clear and the sunrise was magnificent that I would remember for the rest of my life time. The next day the agent supposed to pick me and my girl up at 8.30 am to travel to Medan. But, the van did not turn up on time. The receptionist was very kind and friendly helping me to call the agent after an hour's wait. Still the van did not come at the subsequent promised time of 10.00 am. The receptionist called again several time until I got the van. Thanks for the patient and understanding of the staff as I did not have a local telephone card. If I used my international line to call, it would cost me a lot of money.

we cannot slept until midnight because of the karaoke sound that very lough. no air cond and no fan because they tell us that berastagi is a cold place..but all the 2 rooms that my family and i use are no water heater..however their house keeping staff are good

I was order room included breakfast. But when I was at the restaurant a waiters coming and mentioned to me that my inn not include breakfast in front of other hotel guests. I was disappointed on this incident.

Not worth ”
When I check in, the room they gave me the toilet was stuck. Then I request to change room. Second room they give me, the toilet's lamp was spoilt, don't have lamp inside. They don't provide floor mat, the toilet floor is too slippery, my kid fall down and knock his head. Then I request for slipper. The room was so old and dirty. It is very very old and the floor full with dust. The spring bed are too soft. The bed sheet are dirty. The towel provided are so smelly. I think they don't wash the bed sheet and blanket. They just use perfume to spray on it. It is full with perfume smell that I can't stand with. I won't stay there again. With that price, I can stay some better place.

Rubbish hotel stay away”
Large room, huge bed, a couple of chairs, etc. Room smelt terrible when we 1st entered. Check-in took forever as the receptionist scrutinised every detail. TV is hopeless, supposed to be at least 12 different channels, only 3 local channels available. Nothing western. Wi-Fi is hopeless, despite the router being just outside the room. No kettle or towels in the room. Bathroom - warm water for shower. The rooms are well away from the reception, they dropped us in golf trolly Half the lights don't work. This is a low grade hotel and is bad value for money.

Ok not ok”
The room is spacious and the service was good. Though old, the building still seems strong. The minus is the bed. It really needs to be changed. The sheets are dirty and the bed is not comfortable. I got rashes the next day I woke up. I'm unsure if it's the bed bugs or not.
