Perfect location and great room!! ”

You can't beat the location, very central to everything yet on a very quiet street. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was made-to-order and restaurant overlooks the perfume River. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and quite roomie compared with other places I've stayed throughout Vietnam. Absolutely wonderful place and zero complaints.

Sweet hotel in Hue”

Off the path from the backpacking area. Very clean with large rooms. Owner speaks great English and was very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the location as the best Banh Mi s we found so far in Vietnam were right over the bridge

Really lovely staff ”

A really nice hotel with large clean spacious rooms and a nice simple breakfast. A good location within walking distance of the imperial citadel and very close to lots of lovely bars resturaunts and coffee shops as well as walking street. The staff were super helpful and lovely and organised tours and transport for us. They also went out of their way to help when I left my wallet behind and got it back to me within 24hours.

Great Location”

We stayed here 2 years ago and chose to stay again. The front rooms on high floors have a wonderful view of the Perfume river and a balcony which we enjoy, It is located about a 10 minute walk from the main western tourist area, or over the iron bridge to the market and Citadel in a quiet area of town with many good restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious and wifi connection is good. Breakfast was good and staff is helpful and friendly too. We enjoyed our stay once again.

The room was spacious, clean. The hotel was safe and well maintained. The staff spoke better than average English, and other languages. The location could hardly be better. The rooms were airy, with fabulous views, and stylish presentation. Room facilities (TV, shower, electric jug etc all working well). Breakfast is provided. It was "OK", wholesome, fresh but not very exciting, but greteful to have someone cook before heading out. This is a family-owned hotel and we should consider the added "economies of scale" difficulties facing family owned businesses. All the more reason to appreciate this place.

Great spot for exploring the Old Quarter”

We stayed just one night passing through Hanoi, but would have been very happy to stay longer. The room was comfortable and well furnished, though we were upgraded to deluxe which may usually cost more than our budget! The location is very good - on the outskirts of the Old Quarter, which makes for an easy arrival, but close to good shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a buffet, which is unusual for this kind of hotel in Hanoi. Ordering from a menu would probably be preferable, but we didn't check if that was an option. The staff were great - very friendly and helpful.

The best view of Da Nang”

Our room were spacious and clean, there are computers in each of the rooms. The bathroom was clean and big. The only downfall is one of the room we have (room 801 or 2), the balcony was magnificent, but if they could invest in some faux barrier. Because the balcony is shared between 2 rooms, it makes it hard because the other guest can walk over and see into either one of their rooms. Which makes is not so secure, not in a not safely way, as the locks are very stable out to the balcony. Which only means you could only use the balcony as long as the other guest is not using it, and probably have to close the curtain if someone is outside. Maybe even just some simple planters can fix the trick =) The good side, our family was getting A+ and 5 star services from Son and Lien through out our stay at Thai Binh 2. They were so helpful and welcoming, treat us like we are at home. And we did feel like we are at home. Breakfast was really good also, you order and they cook it, fresh and fulfilling.

Great Value and Location!”

We stayed four nights and could not have been more pleased. If you want to be around every other Westerner in Hue that area is only a 10 minute walk, but we really preferred staying in a quiet more Vietamese part of Hue. There are great restaurants, street food and coffee shops in the area patronized mostly by locals which for us is always a good sign. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of choices. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the Perfume River from the balcony. The only improvements we might suggest are a little softer mattress and cushions on the wooden chairs.

Had stayed here before. Location is fantastic. Easy waking distance. The view from the restaurant over looks the river and citadel.

Cheap and Best”

The hotel is not so new and there was a construction going on right next to the hotel. Thus, it was noisy during the day time. However we did not stay in the room during the day time so it was not a big deal for us. There were not many occupants in the hotel during our stay. The hotel is located closer to the walking street, restaurants, Dong Ba market and the Citadel. The breakfast was average with not many choice of food. The staffs were good and friendly. The room was very big and bed was good too. We had a cheap and best deal for our 1 day stay in Hue, so no regrets.

- Good location: near Truong Tien Bridge and Nguyen Dinh Chieu walking street, good restaurants in walking distance. - Good facilities: everything functions well, except for the TV which automatically turns on several times ai night @@ - Clean beds, toilet is acceptable - Helpful staff: available almost all the time + give you what you need quickly - Renting motorbike at acceptable price, negotiable. Will come back this hotel :)

Staff very helpful booked onward bus as well as a day tour. Both well priced. Walk the river bank in the evening when cooler vibrant enviroment. Take a cruise in the perfume river. Visit citdel early morning with less crowds. Opens 7am take a minimum of 2days in hue very nice place. We stayed 3days.take time to visit silk museum very interesting lovely gardens birds singing in the day. Performances of harp playing in the evening very different. Also the silk work is available for sale. On le loi st. next to ho chi min museum.

Decent hotel”

Basic room. Breakfast is good eggs, fruit, bread, etc. Beds were a soft thick foamy. Location is a few blocks from back packer area but a couple blocks from perfume river. Staff was super friendly. Let us keep our bags there until midnight the day we checked out. Good street food opposite direction from backpacker area. Also good coffee shops there too, turn left out of the hotel then make a right and then left or straight down the block for good vietnamese food and coffee ( we look for where all the locals eat) or perfume river under the bridge for Che,

I was astounded by this hotel, for the price we paid for it. The hotel manager rushed us to our room as we hadn't sleep't much from the overnight train (very polite) and told us to have a shower and rest up. The room was massive and the wifi was good, tho it didn't matter as there was a desktop computer in the room, which was a huge bonus to us as we were needing to further book our trip. The staff were not pushy at all and recommended a few things to do, with out being overbearing . The Breakfast buffet was really varied and had a lot of options, clean food and staff happy to help. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Great place to stay with family!”

Good value. Clean hotel! Because I stayed in very disgusting hotel in Hoi An, I was so worried that If I could another disaster staying in Hue. But, fortunately it was great! The staffs were very kind and helpful. There was a guy in front desk, and he actually asked me to come down to provide more information about good local restaurants, night market, sightseeing places. Hue city was very great city and this hotel made it better!

Great staff, nice location”

I stayed here for more than a month, while combining remote work with visiting friends in Hue. The staff made my stay very easy and comfortable. The rooms are big, well taken care of and very clean. Breakfast is good. Wifi is fast and quite stable. The location is nice, as there are many restaurants nearby, you are a 3-5 minutes walk from the river and if you want to go sightseeing, there are always cyclos in front of the hotel, or you just call the best motorbike tour people: Hue Riders. Can't wait to come back to this hotel again. Would'nt choose any other place but Thai Binh II!

Great staff”

I really enjoyed my stay here. The ladies on Teception speak good English and they are incredibly helpful and full of good information. There is motor bike parking at the front door and the rooms are spa ious and clean. A great inclusive breakfast in the ninth floor dining room having panoramic views over the city, rive and the ancient Citadel. A terrific value hotel in a very central location with great staff.
