Отель в тихом месте”

Отель расположен далековато от центральной улицы. Зато в номере вечером тихо, если рано ложиться спать, очень удобно. Кондиционер тихий, вообще не слышно его. Номер большой, есть диван и журнальный столик. Горячая вода в душе была только первый и последний день. Вайфай в первый день был еле живой, потом - нормальный. На балконе в некоторых номерах стоят кресла, на некоторых - нет. У нас не было. Снаружи на балконной двери нет ручки, если нечаянно захлопнешь дверь, придется взывать к прохожим. Воду не дают, мыло не докладывают. Одеяло сшито из простеганной плащевки и шуршит при каждом движении. Персонал приятный и внимательный. Общее впечатление - положительное.

Great rooms for great value”

I was staying on cat ba for a week and needed good Internet. I was recommended cat ba palace by another hostel. Rooms were newly renovated. They had hot water. Private bathrooms. Clean. Breakfast was included. Staff was very nice and helpful. They would leave some water in the room each day. You could rent a scooter to go around the island. You could ask for a bus to pick you up at the hotel to go to Hanoi. Internet was great. The building itself doesn't have any extra stuff but I didn't need anything extra personally. For the price tag, this place is a steal. I would definitely stay again.

kind staff and a clean room”

As I arrived at the hotel, the staff was greeting me with smile and kindly explained the area. And the room was quite nice and clean. Breakfast is not included but you can get food around the restaurants easily.

In desperate need of renovation and a good clean”

I hate leaving bad reviews and I never do but we did not enjoy any aspect of staying at this hotel. The only friendly staff were the cleaners who were very sweet, we couldn’t get a word or a smile from anyone else who worked there. We’ve spent the same amount of money everywhere in Vietnam and been able to get beautiful quality hotels, this hotel is very overpriced. The room was so worn and old everything needed replacing from the towels with stains on them to the rusty bathroom, the whole place just felt old and dirty. Would not recommend.

Great service and breakfast”

Clean and simple hotel with nice big rooms. Located on more quiet street but only 2 minutes walk from the water. The staff has been very friendly and answered all our questions. Good wi-fi and breakfast. Hot water showers and air con working well.

Highly recommend”

I believe this is one of the best hotels in Cat Ba. The staffs were amazingly friendly and they had helped us a lot. We had some meals in the hotel, the price was 150,000 VND per person.The food was great and the chefs were so nice. The rooms were clean and nice. If there is one thing I must complaint then it would be the wifi connection was a little bit weak, rather than that it was totally fine. If we had the chance to come back again, Catba Palace would definitely be our choice.

Best hotel on Catba Island”

I Loved this hotel, the owner and staff are amazing, nothing is to much trouble, they are so helpfull. The breakfast is great value and my room was very comfortable and clean, it was also a much better room than I had book, as we were given a free upgrade. Thank you Catba Palace for making my few days on the island so good. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Would stay again ”

The hotel was under construction. It will be completely renovated but we stayed next to this hotel. Lovely person are owning both hotels. Helped us always when we wanted to book something. Breakfast was included even though it wasn't in our booking. You could order a la carte. Clean room and bathroom.

Great value for money!”

As a couple, we still felt like we saved some money but had a really comfortable stay in Cat Ba, as opposed to the many budget hostels on the island. Didn't arrange any tours or affordable transport (which we found easily elsewhere) but had a great breakfast menu and were happy to arrange a second-night at the same price very last minute!

Just great ”

Stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. Got a really cheap deal and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are spacious and the toilets are clean. Great place to get your laundry done as they do it cheap and by the kilo. Rented bikes from them for almost nothing. Highly recommended this place for all travelers. Really enjoyed my stay and I'm sure you will too. Keep traveling!

Nice owners and quiet”

We stayed there two times. One time in a bigger room one time in a small room but with furniture on the balkony. The balcony was facing the neighbour building, but on a hot day it was very nice to sit there since it was in the shade and with a breeze. The owners were very friendly. The room was clean, the bed comfortable.

If they have a room for you just book there. The staff is super kind and the manager is VERY helping. The hotel is clean, comfortable,. The shower is great and the breakfast is very delicious. The hotel location is good, just a 3 minutes walk to the port.

Good value for money ”

We were booked in to a different hotel, costing a similar amount, but checked out early because it was awful. Cat Ba Palace is much, much better. Bright, airy room with a balcony. Quiet location. Pleasant staff. The bathroom could do with refurbishment but there was plenty of hot water.

Good quality/price”

I stayed in low season and was very good price, no luxury hotel but very clean and friendly staff always looking to make your stay better. The only "negative" thing is the material of the bed sheets, it was not cotton, looks like mixed with some plastic. It wasn't too bad but quite strange.

Very good hotel”

We booked for 2 nights and decided to stay for 4! The staff was more than helpful they organize everything for us: tour, laundry, motorbike renting and bus tickets. The room was clean everyday including new sheets and towels! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and fresh! We enjoyed our stay and would definetly go back :)

Not recommendable”

The room itself is ok but the bathroom could really be better... It's located 200m up the street that goes to the main street, so with your luggage is quite a hike. I'd recommend to stay somewhere closer to the main area as there are plenty of options and maybe stay in one of the resorts located in the Cat Co 2 beach (if you can afford it). The stagf is friendly but they rented us a motorbike with just one working brake and no horn or lights...

Excellent stay”

This was a beautiful hotel to stay in. Our room was spacious, clean and modern with great air con and wifi services. We rented a motor bike from the hotel also which was a blast. I highly recommend staying here. It was so affordable and had extremely friendly staff! Great stay!

Great room a little out of the way up hill ”

Wonderful room great value for money. Staff friendly. They up graded our room to a lovely huge one. Just don't rent the motorcycle from them as you can get cheaper and better elsewhere in town! Can't comment on the food as didn't try it.

Exoensive hotel but very nice luxury room”

the hotel was a little more than we would normally spend, but the room was lovely. Very light and spacious. Only 2 minutes walk to the main street in Cat ba town. Hotel provided motorbike rental at good price and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Best stay i have ever had!”

Fantastic manager, he had originally accidently double booked a room. After realizing his mistake, he booked us into a hotel nearby which had to be a 4 star or something. He also upgraded us to a 6th floor mountain view for which we only paid what he had originally paid through Agoda! And that has to be the cheapest price, 2 of us only paid $15 each. Best stay ever.
