Nice place. Staff are really accommodating and help us arrange our floating market tours. But resort is far from Can Tho city proper / downtown

Buyer beware”
When we arrived, we were shown to a concrete bunker accommodation with two double beds and a single bed squeezed in - not the family room from the photo with five separate beds with mozzie nets which we had booked, shown on the photos on the website - After some discussion (not much English spoken), we were moved to two lovely newish huts, closer to what we were led to expect. It is a very quiet rural spot with a friendly street market 5 minutes walk away. There is not much else around. The food at the homestay was excellent. However, after one night Typhoon Tembin was threatening a direct hit. We were given candles and matches and then the staff all but disappeared! As evening and the typhoon were approaching and we heard 1000000 people were being evacuated, we went to the guard house at the front of the property and expressed our concerns! We were offered a hotel in Can Tho City for no extra cost which we accepted. The staff organised this for us, we were very thankful for this!!

Not what we expected ”
Maybe we had wrong expectations but nevertheless after two days we were happy to leave this place. Positive: the rooms are really nice and clean. Negative: We found more things that we didn't expect. When we arrived we didn't get any information (about breakfast, tours, bicycle rentals...). The staff was very friendly but they barely spoke English. They does offer bicycle rental but no other information is provided. If you ask for a map (for sightseeing) they tell you to use your phone for that. Also on the negative side is their restaurant which offers a small choice of food that wasn't expensive but therfore you got very small portion (e.g. Rice with seafood but almost no seafood inside, fried squids where you got 2 squids the size of a finger....). Another really annoying thing was the noise. Throughout the day and in the morning you will hear loud music and on both the days there were loud groups. Before booking check if they expect some groups and prepare to wake up early.

Lovely stay”
We had a lovely stay here. The staffs are friendly. However, the location is quite distant from the city center. There was this bad smell in the toilet. We will certainly come back

A resort villa in the countryside”
The name "homestay" is a little misleading, this is actually more like a resort villa a row of bungalows with a nicely landscaped garden and pond with outdoor banquet seating and a stage, it seems like a good place for holding events, weddings, etc. That being said, this place is brand new and some parts are still under construction, the bungalow was clean and comfortable with a bathroom with hot shower inside the room. But the wifi is unusable inside the room because of a weak signal, the restaurant closes early at 7, and reception desk was empty after that, and there was a rat inside my trash can at night. The location is in a rural area outside can tho (Taxi ride from bus station 100,000 d), you can walk around outside and see a market, school, fruit stands, fields, and normal houses. This area doesn't have many foreign visitors and you will get a lot of stares. I think it is a good place for travellers who feel comfortable with staying in an isolated area of the countryside.

I love the hospitality by the staff, very helpful and understanding. The only concern I have is that the location is quite unreachable by shuttle bus. Need to take a motorcycle to reach the location. Otherwise, I had an enjoyable stay.

Bungalow muy cómodo, pero en el techo viven animales y de noche hacen mucho ruido. Jardines preciosos, el personal es increíble siempre dispuestos para ayudarte..
