Summer vacation in winter ”

I traveled to FL from NJ as getaway from winter with my wife. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Food can be pricy for a 3 stars hotel but there are various restaurants in the area. Alcohol beverage are cheap and cocktails are well prepared. I would definitely recommend and stay again at the Royal Beach Palace.

Lot's of Bang for the Buck”

The Royal Beach Palace is and older property that over time gets excellent updates and maintenance. The property is within walking distance to the beach and water taxi. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

Hotel just okay”

This hotel looked a lot more promising on the website than in real life. We booked the Royal beach villa room, which turned out to be the building next door called Galt villa. The building from the outside looked old and run down, which was a bit terrifying at first. However, the room itself was small but clean and somewhat more modern than the exteriors. Our room was also next to the janitor's closet, so it was always so noisy in the mornings. They did have cute benches with lights on to sit around in the afternoons and just enjoy. Some of the staff were nice and helpful, others not so much. The beach was about a 10-15 min walk. They say it is an 8 minute walk but you must be speed walking to get there in 8 mins. They do provide you with towels, umbrellas, and chairs. The location was great though! It had different restaurants and shops around. Not too far from downtown, las olas, and other cool places. Overall not too bad of a hotel for the price.

Accomodation prior to Cruise”

stayed for 1 night prior to a cruise from Fort Lauderdale Port Everglades. Staff were very helpful we had a good nights rest and enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant opposite and also managed to shop for some needed items in the pharmacy next door would be happy to stay here again

Great stay”

I had a great room, but you have to pay for parking and there is no parking st this hotel! Also they say you can walk to the beach which is not true unless you wanna walk 15 mins! But the shuttle that takes you is great! You get free towel, chairs and beach umbrella!

Exceptional”

Staff was excellentj - I did not like the room I received at the3 palace and the staff immediately gave me the option of moving to a sister hotel, which I did, service and accomodations were excellent

Way up north”

This is a clean budget hotel 3 long miles from Central Ft. Lauderdale Beach....if your cool with that it's ok but even so a little high priced. If you don't have a car and are cabbing it, you will eat up your savings fast paying $30 plus each way in and out of town. Makes the better rate over central beach hotels not that great. Rooms are small but clean and there are tiny pools by each of the 6 buildings. It is old school, faces the highway, and exterior in particular is a little dated. Charming in an old south Florida kind of way but again I think the rate could drop to make this hotel more attractive.

Great hotel”

We have enjoyed our stay. The place looks great, the food at the restaurant was great, Dorell and the staff at the pool bar took excellent care of us. The rooms are neat and clean, but a bit too dark for my taste (everything is dark brown). But spacious (we booked a deluxe double, had 2 double beds and a sofa). We stayed in the main building, overlooking at the pool and old A1A. The shower is great, The only issue is that the beach is practically on the other side of the road, however there is no access to the beach. You have to drive or walk 10' to get to the ocean.

The room didn't look like what the photos did when booking, but it did have what we needed. Great location within walking distance to beach and many food options.

Exceptional”

Pros: Staff, Friendly Service, Cleanliness, Facilities, Pools, Rooms, Convenience. Cons: Parking...you would think that for such a large facility that they would have more parking. Any time after 7:30 is a nightmare for parking (other than that we had a wonderful time)

Great spot. Bar, pool, and store across the street. Nice”

Even though the beach is right across the street behind me hotels, it was tough to get to. They offered a shuttle bus that went down the road and dropped you off at a public part of the beach. Florida. Watch out for gratuities written into your check ahead of time. If you don't notice you might tip twice.

Looks can be deceiving but once inside very nice place nice decor and atmosphere ”

Good things: nice room very spacious bed love the hot hot water 👍🏾 Bad things : Paying for parking at the hotel I thought that was absurd. The AC inside the room was not working well at all but we managed.

Great stay”

No issues... they even prepared a room before my check in time since I arrived 4 hours earlier! Provided beach towels and bar staff were excellent and helpful!! Room was clean and bed super soft and comfy!!

Had such a hard time picking a reasonable place at the last minute. Booked another place and freaked after I read the reviews on how dirty it was. This place was a roll of the dice, and was not disappointed. Not fancy, but clean, efficient, and accommodating.

It okay. If you have all the fact to consider up front before booking. ”

Pros: Nice area close to bars, restaurants, stores, and beach. Cons: No free parking with reservations. The fact that they put a monetary hold on your card until you check out. This is after you have completely paid for the room in full. And it’s not completely clear that while booking room thru these online discount apps you still will be charged the reservation fee once you arrive.

Nice hotel, but difficult to access the beach”

The hotel room was really spacious and the pool was really nice. However, be tried to walk across the road to access the beach and found that it was totally blocked off by the condos. There is an access point much further down the road but it's too far to walk.

Excellent”

The staff was excellent, but I found my window on the ground floor was being left unlocked by housekeeping. I am not worried for the most part but anyone can jump in that window and steal my laptop etc that was left. The food and drinks at the bar were way over priced. Even though the food was good, for what I paid I could have at lobster tail, and I had a burger

Perfect hotel at a great price ”

Perfect hotel at a good price. All the amenities of a large hotel but with a community feel.

Good place”

Was clean and comfortable. Close to beach and they have tiki bar restaurant. But they have no gift shop for bottle water or snacks. Was quite loud cause of spring breakers. But ok place.

Very good”

The staff is very nice and helpful,but it isn't on the beach but they will give you a ride there but over all for the price I want complain they do hold 50 dollars a night just a heads up
