IV STAYED AT THIS MOTEL MANY, MANY TIMES AND LOVE IT.LIKE I HAVE SAID ABOVE ITS NOT THE NEWEST MOTEL AROUND, BUT ITS VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. THE POOL IS LARGE AND HEATED AND THE GARDENS WELL LOOKED AFTER, NEWER MOTELS ARE NOT AS OPEN AND GREEN AS THIS ONE.THE ROOMS ARE THE SAME SIZE AS ALL MOTEL ROOMS IN THE USA AND ARE BASIC BUT HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED. THIS PLACE WINS HANDS DOWN FOR LOCATION, YOU CAN WALK TO OLD TOWN 5 MINS AWAY AND HAVE A DRINK AND WALK BACK, AND EVEN WALK TO CELABRATION FOR THE SAME, YOUR 5 MINS FROM DISNEY, 1 MIN FROM THE I4, TURN LEFT AS YOU COME OUT OF THE MOTEL ONTO THE 192 AND AN HOUR LATER YOUR ON A BEACH, IT HAS TO BE THE BEST VALUE , CERTAINLY IN THAT AREA. IV BEEN TO ORLANDO 20 ODD TIMES AND HAVE STAYED ALL OVER FROM MOTELS TO APPARTMENT TO VILLAS,(OF COURSE IF THERE IS A GROUP OF YOU A VILLA MIGHT BE BETTER)AND I ALWAYS COME BACK TO THE RODEWAY MAINGATE.

A nice place to sleep”
Don't expect a lot of amenities. They should do away with what they call 'Breakfast'. It is chaotic with little to choose from. Perhaps you could separate those toasters so that there are not 10 people standing there waiting for a bagel to pop. The pool area is better that I remember, but all those smokers sitting outside their rooms puffing away is disgusting. Put them in the BACK of the place. There is waaaay too much of a smokers odor and for those of us that do not smoke it is annoying. Not sure how well the AC works but it seemed to stay on one temp and blow cold air directly onto ones head and neck. The front desk personnel are very nice and helpful. The location is super and the price is right! BUT, probably done staying at this Rodeway.

We knew it wasn't great when we booked it. But we weighed up what we would save staying off site, and the fact that we would only be sleeping there as we would be in the parks (Disney) every day of our stay. The money we saved we were able to buy our 4 day Universal tickets, so it was worth it to us. Would recommend you only stay in the pool facing rooms. Not for the pool view, but because I wouldn't want to be in any of those rear rooms a long way down the back or facing the huge abandoned motel next door. (who knows what goes on over there at night???) The immediate vicinity is a little dodgy looking. However there are many many restaurants all along that big road. You'll need to uber to Disney, the shuttle only goes to one park, and was often late. We checked our room thoroughly for bed bugs, and bugs in general and it was clean. So that's all we wanted from The Rodeway Inn and that's what we got. A cheap, clean room to sleep in only.

It's fine ”
This hotel was fine. The staff were very nice especially Mathieson who bent over backwards to help us when Agoda hadn't it out booking through and the hotel was fully booked but she found is a room. The pool is really nice and had s nice seating area around it. The bus service is a bit sparse but this isn't run by the hotel but rather by the local transit authority. Breakfast was ok with juice tea coffee cereal oranges and bagels. You do have to line up to use the toasters but there are 200 rooms in the hotel. It is a budget hotel but for the price it is really good. And so many clean towels. I'd stay here again.

This hotel is located only 5 miles from the parks. It is very inexpensive and you get a great room for the price. A hidden gem. I highly recommend.

The manager and Guillermo,all at reception were such help and welcome to us. Friendly and pleasant. Always listening and willing to try If possible. There was a nice excursion booth with great people. It was a nice place to stay,the grounds were relaxing. Just little misses from the cleaning though. Anything else,place,price,people was up to expectatiins and more.

Great location,large rooms,awesome A/C can make a Pinguin feel the cold..Breakfast have room for improve..the equipment(toasters)dint work ...just one side of one toaster....but its was a pleasant stay..

I thought that this hotel was wonderful. Services were great and the workers were very nice. There were places to eat nearby and I'm thinking of staying here again. However, there were bugs sometimes crawling on the floor so, I hope the workers could do something with it.

It is right in the middle of a busy tourist spot. Its quiet, clean and worth the money.. I just wish they had fridge and or microwave in rooms or on property.. Other than that it was AWESOME

The hotel is price low. The room are full of bugs, of all sort of bugs! The staff are friendly, even gave me the bug spray so i can spray thE bugs myself. That right folks, you get what you paid for.

Cheap and inexpensive ”
The place is cheap (low quality) and inexpensive (low cost) but you get what you pay for. However, the surprise $4 “resort fee” when you check in is pure garbage. This is certainly NOT a “resort”! The desk agent was very nice and explained it’s a fee for the resort area. (I laughed). They also tried to force another few upon checkout for using the safe but I didn’t agree to it. The breakfast was like a run down school cafeteria. Bare basics. For a late night, just need a bed place it was fine. Not much else.

If you don't have a car then this hotel is the right place for you. Close to a convenience store, restaurants, and other types of entertainment. I wouldn't suggest staying here for a long period of time. It's an ok place for a weekend stay, but if you plan on visiting a theme park and you're there for a long period of time, then I would not suggest this hotel.

The buildings look old and not in the greatest shape but the actual room itself was clean inside, no bugs or stains on anything. Only $50 for the night.
