The warm welcome from Andre. The lovely room bathed in afternoon sunlight. Cosy comfy bed. The opening windows to allow a cool breeze to flow. The bathroom and toilet for your exclusive use. U r at 1 end of the house. Breakfast. The kitchen is at your disposal. Hosts are past perfect! The view of Mt. Ruapehu breathtaking.

Cosy and comfortable room with fridge and tea/ coffee facilities. Private loo and bathroom was great. Located in a really peaceful area with view of mountain from front of property. There's a view of the garden and river from the room, and the river sounds lovely! Great spot for a cuppa or dinner out in the garden by the river. Hosts are very friendly and kind. 10 mins drive to Ohakune.
This would be very cosy in winter but room heats up in warmer months.

Andre & Sonja are the loveliest people you will meet and they are big rugby fans! They were very accommodating and made us feel at home. Their home is only a short drive from Ohakune and not far from the Whakapapa turn off. Would definitely stay again!

Riversong Retreat is exactly what the name suggests. A lovely property with the river gurgling by and stunning views of Mt Ruapehu. Andre and Sonja are wonderful hosts, they made us feel very welcome and comfortable at their place. The perfect place for a cozy winter retreat.

Was made very welcome in this home. Wood burner lit to ensure my rooms nice and warm. Very friendly owners and a beautiful location.
Loved everything. However, did not realise I could have used the main kitchen to cook a meal.
