Find hotels near Ringlet in Cameron Highlands, Malaysia

My husband and I was searching for an authentic getaway for a short escape. We came upon the Rainforest Inn in Cameron Highlands and it looked interesting. It was everything we expected it to be. The Inn is located 15 minutes drive away from the Ringlet Shell Station. The little road leading up to the inn is difficult to find. However, one of the owners, Mr. Ong and his wife were very helpful. They told me to give them a ring when I arrived at Ringlet and they came to meet me and guided me to the Inn. The location was secluded from the main amenities and if you don't have a car of your own, it may proof to be difficult to move about. However, the owners are always very helpful and will be more than happy to assist you with transport arrangements. We love buildings as everything was handcrafted from scratched by the Orang Asli (indigeneous). And what we love most is that we were able to bring our dogs along. It's very difficult to find vacation places where we can bring them along in Malaysia. The surroundings were beautiful and we truly enjoyed being surrounded by the sound of nature. The sound of flowing water was like a lullaby for us. The Orang Asli meal was delicious and everyone who stays there should try it. For RM30 per person, it was real value for money. I loved chatting with owners Mr. Ong and John too. They were very helpful with information about places to visit, construction of the long house etc. Thank you for the lovely hospitality. However, being in the rainforest, bring mosquito repellent as they do come out in throngs in the evenings. Oh yeah, for those who are particular, note that they have proper toilets and there is hot water in the shower. The tea is a must try.

Staff was helpful and was there cleaning and waiting upon our arrival. Location is easy to find at Ringlet, but it's still quite a distance to cameron main attractions at Brinchang. House is huge, comes with 4 rooms, suitable for group up to 15 pax. Look exactly like how it's advertised! We had a good time having BBQ party with most equipment provided such as BBQ pits and other utensils. Only slightly troubled by the houseflies issue (i don't think it has anything to do with cleanliness of the house, house is pretty clean.) Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
