Amazing Resort with very nice staff!”

We stayed here for a couple of days with a group of roughly 15 people (ladies and gents mixed) and had an awesome journey. The rooms were very clean, the area quiet and the pier to catch the ferry to Samui is just next to the accommodation. Me and my girlfriend booked one of the newer apartments - these ones are located in the back area which were great. And then there is this one nice Thai named “Top”, whom is speaking German with a Bavarian dialect. Originally he is from Bangkok and speaks English and German very well! He made our trip to Koh Phangan to one of the nicest experiences of our life’s. This friendly guy was so helpful in ever situation that the good bye in the end hurt all of us. All in all very recommended to have a stay in the Rin beach resort! Tip: try a strawberry daiquiri at the pool bar! Cheers, Tim

Awesome Resort with the best Pool Bar in Haad Rin!”

We really enjoyed our stay at Rin Beach Resort. The resort rooms are really comfortable and the staff ist excellent. The Pool and Pool Bar were outstanding. Really nice guests, personell and the best frozen daiquiri I have ever had. Our entire group of nearly 20 people enjoyed the stay and hereby fully recommend this place.

Great stay for a few nights stop over”

The pool was the best thing about the hotel, we had a standard economy room can’t fault it for the price but if your there over full moon it is noisy as hell!! The balconies are all pretty much conjoined into one and we kept having the ashtray and drinks etc robbed off ours. We had a family of three next door who did nothing but argue at stupid times around 4am and they had a little girl with them no older than 5. The reception is supposed to be open 7am-7pm but we went a couple times once around 11am and then around 2pm and there was no one there to talk to! Just seems like they hang around in reception if someone is checking in and then they go home. Overall can’t fault it for the price but won’t be back in a hurry, it was just convenient that it was the first hire as you stepped off the queen haad rin ferry.

A great resort experience to escape the full moon craziness”

The best thing about this hotel is the pool and the private beach. You have a resort experience while outside the hotel doors the island is crazy for full moon. The staff at the pool were very friendly. The food in the hotel by the pool is cheaper than most places outside the hotel which is very rare. It's the same with the massage. Totally reasonably priced and given by a talented masseuse by the sea. The bed was huge but hard, as in most places in Thailand. But the extra bed/cot was particularly hard. Only flip side was that to get to our room we had to go up stairs that only had railing on one side and it felt quite dangerous especially when going up and down with luggage or at night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, and while it was the most expensive Hotel of our trip due to the full moon party, it was the best one by far and still reasonably priced for what you get.

Lovely pool”

I have stayed here twice now and I returned because the pool is great. Very quiet when I have stayed here. You get beach towels to use there. The food at the pool is ok and good value. The staff are fine and clean the room when you leave a key at reception. It's pretty basic accommodation but for the price is perfectly ok. Location is on Sunset beach so the quieter end of Haad Rin but is only a 5 min walk to all the action. Very close to the Haad Rin pier for boats to Samui.

Very good location. Quiet side on haad rin. Short walking to full moon area and boxing stadium. Nice pool and nice stuff.

Great spot for Full Moon”

Right by the pier at Had Rin, where the boat comes in from Ko Samui. About 5 mins walk from the full moon beach. Good pool with a nice restaurant. A little bit on the expensive side for what you get, but I guess you pay for the location. Our room was comfy and spacious, but the bathroom smelled pretty bad. Some reviews I read complained about the woman at reception, but I think she is just being efficient! Just don't get paint anywhere or lose anything and there will be no problems! Wi-Fi pretty much never worked and staff were very unhelpful when asked.

Excellent”

If you are looking for busy spot on Koh Phangan it’s a perfect location. Staff was really nice and helpful. Place was clean. Choose bungalows because rooms in a hotel are a bit depressing.

Convenient location and awesome pool”

Hotel is located few meters from the pier which is extremely convenient if you are going to Phangan from Samui. A little bit away from most of party places, which is good if you are not into noisy stuff the island is filled with during non-stop party events. Awesome pool, good rooms, though utilities are a little bit old and rooms desperately need bed-tables or at least a chair to put your stuff onto, otherwise you have to keep it on the floor. Beach is very close and pretty nice, bungalows are nicely located and look good. Staff is friendly. Sea bottom is all corals so watch for them if you want to swim in the sea. Many nice places to have dinner around the hotel.

Decent stay for full moon party”

Convenient location right by Haad Rin Pier where you get dropped off by the ferry. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach where the full moon party is. Fairly clean and no concerns while on the premises. Bathroom does lack ventilation so if you have a larger sized group, good luck :)

A good spot”

Don’t really understand the negative reviews of this place. I stayed in a superior Seaview and was more than happy. The bed was very very comfortable. The linen was good. The room was cleaned when requested. The shower was hot enough and good water pressure. Air con remote seemed to be tampered with so you can’t change the mode or temperature but it was adequate enough to keep the room cool. The swimming pool was great and the rope hammocks on the beach were nice as. Right next the to pier to handy location and 5 min walk to full moon. Also far enough away to sleep without hassle. There pricing is a little over the top but would come back. Did find a centrepede in the bathroom though but I just moved it outside. Looking at the reviews maybe it’s the really cheap ones people complain about. For me my stay was sweet.

Good not great”

It was cheap and you get what you pay for, we would stay there again, but we would upgrade to a nicer room. The pool was great, and location is walking distance to Haad Rin

Great budget option with a pool!”

We stayed in the economy rooms across the street from the main resort. The rooms were large and very clean, and had balconies to outside. They are basic, but we didn’t need much, and they have mini-fridges. We were given two complimentary bottles of water each day. The pool is nice but a little dated and the lounge chairs could use a bit of attention, but we were very happy with it!

absolutely 110% recommend this hotel for anyone going to the full moon party who wants to stay close to everything while getting amazing service and a lovely room for a reasonable price!! juan the bartender was the highlight of my trip and totally made us feel welcomed and we even partied with him!! cant wait to go back

Great Location right at the pier ”

Located right on the pier it is a great location so you are not on the beach with the full moon party. Small and cleans rooms value for money. However we stayed for 5 nights and our room wasnt cleaned once we had to keep asking for clean towels and toilet paper. Nice pool area and we didnt try the restaurant.

If you don't like rude staff don't stay here!”

First of all the wifi did not work, even around the pool where it was meant to work it was rubbish. Second off the staff were extremely rude. After asking why there were not enough sunbed lounger foams to cover the wooden sunbeds and complaining about the wifi I was told I was a bad person! This wasn't something communicated at the beginning of our stay. There was honestly not much to do in Haad Rin and the beach wasn't that nice compared to other thai beaches.

Amazing swimming pool and bar”

We had a budget room which wasnt great even for the price but was a good way of meeting other travellers on the balconies! Also the swimming pool and view from the pool is outstanding. Great cocktails and decent enough food if you cant be bothered to leave the hotel! Good location for the full moon party theres a bit of noise with people coming off the boat from other islands but you are in party mode by then so it's no bother. Would recommend just booking somewhere on arrival however (unless its super high season) as the deals on offer where about half the price of the budget room incl pool etc
