Great residence, but limited breakfast”

the hotel is in a residential area very near wright park, the mansion, & mines view park. the turn-off is from romulo drive. pros - do not worry if they advertise that there is no aircon in all of the rooms. you really will not need it, and i think even in the summer, the natural ventilation will be more than adequate. - it is within 5 minutes of some of the major baguio attractions, and yet you will sleep peacefully, as it is very quiet in the area. - you get a very good view of the sunrise above romulo drive (if you get a room facing there. i suggest that you do. - the lobby is a fantastic place to end the day in baguio, have a decaf or a round of drinks to cap the day off. cons - while it is quiet, it can be too quiet. the 'ambient noise' can be disturbing for others. if you're bothered by such, leave the tv on. - breakfast was quite limited, as there was just 1 viand to go with the rice meal. it's good that there are cereal and cheese options to make up for this. - our room's balcony door didn't lock, which may be a bother if you want maximum security, but we didn't mind. - others have commented on the pillows. i know what they mean, but we were not bothered by this. but do take note. overall, i wouldn't mind staying back here, and i think this would be near (or at) the top of my list for accommodation options in baguio.

My wife and I were impressed with the beautiful Ridgewood Hotel in Baguio. We booked our stay online not really knowing what we would be getting. Often online/advertising pictures are much nicer than the actual product. However this was not the case at the Ridgewood. When we arrived we found a beautiful modern hotel. Being a carpenter from Canada I especially enjoyed the all the gorgeous natural wood features and accents. Our room was also a continuation of the beauty and high quality we experienced upon first entering the hotel. The staff was very nice, helpful and professional. Our only disappointment was the room was cold and damp feeling. Probably because of northern facing and no sunshine into the room. The first night we got out of bed after a short time of being cold and put on all the clothing we had with us to try and get warm. We didn't sleep well the first night. The next day the staff gave us more blankets which helped. And we also went out a bought warmer clothing.

Breath of fresh air”

There are many things we liked about this hotel: 1) the location was a bit secluded because it's in a quiet residential area where Baguio pine trees still abound, thus there is no need for air-conditioning; it is quite far from the city proper yet near enough to interesting places like the Mansion House, Wright Park, Mines View, Good Shepherd Convent, etc., this works for us though because we wanted a less crowded space for our activities; 2)the interior (esp the lobby) is reminiscent of glorious Baguio cabin-type, pine-wood houses; 3)the food is simply superb! kudos to the chef.; and 4) the service - the staff were courteous and helpful. Only thing though, it's a bit pricey, so i'm glad we got rooms while they were still on sale.It's definitely worth a try.

Upon arrival on Ridgewood Residence, I was truly impressed on it because whatever you saw on their photos in agoda is the same in reality. The hotel is very nice. The room is very clean and what impressed me a lot is that the staff were very courteous. The breakfast is also highly rated because you can get as long as you wanted. The location of the hotel is accessible and I suggest it to those who wanted to visit Baguio. Though its 5min-10mins from the city, the place is surrounded with a lot of pine trees and you can breath fresh and cool air. We will surely be back with the family!☺️👍🌲

Exceptional”

This is my first time to stay in this hotel and i’ll definitely book with them again on my next visit in baguio! It is walking distance to wright park and the mansion, so easy to hail a cab or jeepney since it is near the street corner. I was informed that there will be some noise during the day since there is an ongoing renovation, but it was really minimal and i’m not bothered by it. Had a good sleep during my 2 nights stay and i’m really full until past lunchtime because of their free breakfast. Lol! What i would like to suggest is for them to have mats inside the rest room and stain-free blankets. Thank you ridgewood for the wonderful accommodation! Will surely comeback here☺️💙

delicious food at an affordable price”

We stayed for 2 nights and we had a wonderful time. It is walking distance to St.Joseph the Worker Parish, to Wright Park and the room we occupied had a view of The Mansion, although its side only. If you are staying here, just bring with you your comb since it is not provided. All in all, I have nothing bad to say about the hotel, the staff are very accommodating, as well as those in the restaurant. Their mushroom soup is the best I ever tasted at the price of P130 only. Grilled porkchop at P150 as well as pinakbet and mushroom. Will surely come back to Ridgewood Residence.

Perfect Place for Baguio Weather”

It was wonderful. I loved the place from the first time I saw it (reception area) until we got to our rooms (junior suite). I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff were, the breakfast buffet and the live music that played in the morning and at night. I also loved our room which was clean, spacious and equipped with amenities (coffee nook, refrigerator, chairs and table). Its location is also near famous destinations like Mines View Park, Wright Park and Camp John Hay, all can be reached by foot. We truly got value for our money. However, I think that the food can be improved which I found too expensive for its lackluster taste. The supposed award-winning chicken wings were not good at all for the price of P300 so that was disappointing. Otherwise, it was a lovely stay and we would not hesitate to go back.

Lovely hotel”

Just minutes away from Baguio attractions like Wright Park, The Mansion, etc. This hotel has a nice woody Baguio ambiance with friendly staff. If you're looking for a convenient and clean place to stay but under a tight budget, then Ridgewood would be a good place to book your stay!

Great Hotel in Baguio”

This is a very nice hotel stay over and over again in Baguio. Very homy feeling with large room and balcony. Elevator is also available to go up and down up to peak of 6th floor. Good choice of buffet breakfast and nicely decorated interior very Christmassy feeling. There's a basement parking good for max of 8 cars. The place is very near the good places in Baguio like the Mine's view, Wrigth Park and The Mansion. Price are also valu for money. Hotel personnel are very accomodating. The only downside is the noise from barking dogs, but overall the hotel is very nice place to stay

GREAT PLACE TO STAY”

It was a great experience staying at Ridgewood. It is just near to the major attraction in Baguio like The Mansion, The Wright Park, Minesview Park, etc. Far from pollution, quiet place where you can really relax. We really love the interior design of the lobby and dining area. Staff are friendly specially the security guards. We would definitely stay here again in the future. But next time we will book earlier for the best room where you can watch the sunrise. :)

Superb Value for Money”

If other hotels and lodges only make its promises online, Ridgewood Hotels lived up to my expectations. Clean rooms, amazing food, awesome staff. Food was great too! Nothing bad to say other than there’s no smoking area, which is true for the entire city so I can’t really blame the hotel.

Helpful staff, perfect location, and reasonably priced”

Stayed for 8 days during pandemic. They are included in IATF approved hotels in Baguio, and when you arrive in the hotel, they will give instructions on when you go in and out of the hotel premis after 3.30pm They also sanitize the rooms with UV, and once you checked-in, no staff will enter the room until you check-out but they will replenish the needed stash like towels, soaps, shampoos etc. The room and bathroom is not sparkling clean, they don't have cable so you won't be able to watch anything. The staff said they need to cut expenses due to lack of guests. My suggestion is to get the Balcony room with even room numbers for better view outside 😁☺

Another memorable stay”

Its our second time to stay here in ridgewood, place is coZy and super clean. I recommend the pla e most eapecially to those who want to escape the busy streets of the city, here you can really enjoy the peace and serenity of the place.. food is definitely a must try... the only downside is the wifi connection in the room, but you can use the wifi in the lobby..

Great location”

Very near to popular attractions yet hidden inside a road so as not to disturb you from cars and pollution at night. If you plan to visit Mines View, Wright Park, The Mansion and St. Joseph the Worker, this is the perfect hotel. Very good for the price and buffet breakfast also provides a lot of variety.

I chose Ridgewood over other hitels in Baguio because the architecture, ambience, food, and staff make me really feel that I am in Baguio. I hope that the hotel continues to operate and improve how they maintain their facilities, despite the changes in the cultural and economic landscape there.

What I like about Ridgewood was their really nice lobby, complete with its exquisite furniture and rustic ambience. This is a really nice place to relax and savour your stay in the mountains of Baguio.

Very kind and understandable staff”

I booked the room for our friends for Nov 13 to 15, 2020 but because of Typhoon Ulysses they need to cancel a day before (Nov12). I've requested the Ridgewood if we can rebooked the room the following week and they accommodate it without extra charge. The hotel is cozy and clean and the room is very clean and disinfected. Thank you!
