Spent happy time there”
Everyone was very nice and kind. Everything was clean and neat even though the hotel was old. My family had a great time there. Moreover, it was close to shopping malls such as Takashimaya Department and Saigon square.

Very Good hotel!”
It is a hotel boasting history and tradition. It is located in the middle of the city, so you can walk for 10 minutes or you can go anywhere in the city for sightseeing. The 5th floor rooftop bar overlooks Ho Chi Minh city center. The night view is also wonderful enough to be the same as any rooftop bar.

We chose the Rex as it was central to everything that we could walk to. The staff are very helpful and the amenities were very good. Their rooftop bar is good and breakfast is exceptional. Would recommend this if you want an up market hotel in a good spot

Exactly what I expected”
It’s a good hotel in good location, clean, staff very helpful and respectful- we had a scare in check in and thought we left mobile phone in the taxi from airport, the bellhop immediately called taxi driver on our behalf to resolve it. The price was reasonable for my budget but don’t know the normal hotel prices… after covid and tourism is down perhaps I got it cheaper than normal. Breakfast had a great continental selection and more Asian dishes, breakfast room is nice. All in, a great experience and location.

Was a welcome oasis from the city. Just divine. Clean and beautiful beds and furnishings. Could not more highly recommend, just lovely. Oh amd breakfast was an amazing spread with chef cooked eggs and pho.

Great hotel, pity about the view”
The Rex is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are clean and the staff are lovely. The breakfast is amazing. Unfortunately for us when we opened the curtains in our room the view was horrible! A dark concrete alcove that made a great retreat for pigeons that woke us up very early each morning. If we go back I will definitely ask for a room with a much better view.

Classic Colonial Hotel”
Some of the decor did look a little dated though it was totally in keeping with the Colonial Style & build of this unique building... Great value though I have marked it down slightly as outside of the hotel, food items & services (spa) can be purchased far cheaper. On the plus.. the roof top bar was an enjoyable finale to the day, staff were amazing throughout the hotel, swimming pools perfect & the buffet breakfast was awesome... Definitely be back ...

Spacious suite. Clean with great facilities only issue the balcony really should be cleaned. And the wifi is very slow to non existent. Breakfast is very nice great customer service all round. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel

Stylish and charming hotel”
Rex is a hotel wirh a lot of history. And interior is kind of „imperial design“. Rooms and restaurants are clean but for my taste a bit outdated with all that dark wood. However, you cannot stay more central in Saigon.
