Resorts in Udon Thani

"We were extremely happy in this hotel there doesn't seem to be many good hotels in Udon Thani this is the exception The Breakfast were very Thai the same as all the hotels we have stayed in in this area The rooms were big and bright and clean we just loved the place and are still talking about it as one of our hi lights of this trip We were there for Son Krahn I am happy to have seen one son krahn but wouldn't go back for another one Unfortunately we had to vacate early my brothers family were 60km away and it was too difficult to get transport over the holiday period we moved into a dump about 5 km away from his village bangkok sohn"

"This hotel is about 15 km from Central Udon Thani, which suited us as we were seeing family nearby. I asked how much for a 6 p.m. checkout..... free !!!"

"tanita resort is a little hard to find as it is tucked behind a new housing project on the 216 that makes up the udon thani ring road. if you drive or navigate to na di you will be in the correct area but will still have difficulty finding tanita. best to locate on google earth and take a printout with you. the resort itself is a little dated but the chalets are clean and well maintained inside. the staff are very pleasant and ready to assist and provide all you require if it is within their power. being situated on a lake it was great for the children as they could feed the fish and i believe fishing is allowed. the chalets have undercover parking for one vehicle, air conditioning and hot shower with western style toilet. the location is very peaceful and convenient for the airport which is about 6km away by road. the breakfast is provided at your chalet to order and caters for both western and thai tastes. there are nice gardens to walk around and a swimming pool. if you have small children do keep a strict eye on them as areas of the lake are not guarded. if you are checking out early in the morning make sure the staff know exactly what time you plan to leave. the resort is in need of a makeover but at the price i paid for bed & breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children under 5 it was very good value for money. we plan to stay there again on our return from the uk while visiting friends in udon thani."

"We had 1 night stay in this hotel. Service was ok but the room is a little bit small for 2 (couple). Also, there were noisy by insects and birds? The location is away from Main Street so that I expected quiet room but it wasn’t unfortunately. "

"was welcomed with a warm greeting. arrived 9 in mornin but this was not an imposition to staff. nice pool very clean and tidy rooms. definitly value for your bhat. the food from the kitchen tastey and a good price. only downside was lack of kitchen utensils. will return on my next visit to udon thani"

"The only problem encountered was the fact these villas are apart from the main office/pool and the "hotel type" rooms. It seemed isolated, very dark. My wife and her friend did not want to stay there by themselves at night, as some bird or something made very loud noises. Otherwise it was fantastic."

"only the bungalow is very otherwise not nice owner, in addition the said says that it is near the city center in reality there are 4 km on a dangerous road, very poor breakfast, I do not recommend this ressort"
