Resorts in Baguio

"Very good! I can't wait to go back! The location is superb! I have been to Baguio many times but only now and only there in Hotel Elizabeth did i catch the scent of natural pine trees again! This is a childhood experience I have missed in the last few trips I made to Baguio, which is getting to be more and more polluted. I just wish they would have a/c in their rooms, to give their guests the option of having an airconditioned room. During our late November trip, the temperature was really cold so an a/c-less room wasn't a problem. But what if decide to go back during summer? I think it wouldn't be that cold anymore in the rooms. Also, I wish they would turn on their lobby fireplace especially during Christmas. It was never on throughout our stay which was already the beginning of the Christmas season. The fireplace was a come-on to me when I was looking for a Baguio hotel so I was disappointed when I arrived and saw an unlit fire place : ("

"We stayed at Green Valley Baguio Hotel and Resort for an overnight stay in one of their Standard Rooms. Check-in and check was no problem, efficient staff and a free nice breakfast for 2 to go with it. Unlike in the city proper, Baguio Green Valley's weather is cool throughout the day with occasional fog that embraces the area. During our stay, a tropical storm "Vinta" passed by Baguio but we barely felt it because of the comfortable room we were in. We were sound asleep during the storm. Baguio Green Valley is a well recommended place to stay in Baguio for those who have their own transportation. I will surely come back to this place in the future. "After booking this hotel, I was still unsure about what to expect given that it was my first time in Baguio and the reviews online were well mixed. When I got there though, I realized right away that I made the right choice. We arrived half a day early for check in at around 5 in the morning and I thought the staff was going to make it difficult for us to check in early since it's peak season but the staff were so accommodating and got us a room with no fuss and a small fee of less than $20 for the early check in! The rooms weren't excellent but average. A refurbish would be great but it was never an issue for us. The view from the room was superb and the hotel is a quick 5 minute stroll to mines view park for great shopping and of course views of the Benguet Mountains. This can be seen from your room and from the verandah where they serve breakfast as well, which in itself an experience I would come back for. We were in a bit of a rush when we checked out, trying to squeeze in breakfast and not missing our bus back to Manila. The staff were so kind in making sure food was being served quickly and even hurriedly packing one of the meals for take away since we ran out of time to eat it. The spa was great as well, and you have a choice of having it in their own facilities or in your room. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!"
